Pete completed our main landscaping job in 2021 and has been best in class with follow up and follow through. He was in our neighborhood for another client, saw an ailing tree and replaced it. I had no idea it was dying. (Was not his fault; tree drowned from neighbor’s run-off). We are planning to do many more projects with Pete and will continue to recommend him to all of our friends and neighbors!

We recently hired New Leaf Landscaping to design and install landscaping on our new construction home, and we’re happy with the results! Pete was extremely professional, his design was beautiful, and they completed the project as planned. The yard looks great, and the team put in a lot of effort to get the details right. Communication was straightforward, and the pricing felt reasonable for the quality of work. Overall, a great experience, and we’ll definitely be using them again.

Our family is still stunned at how beautiful our patio turned out! Pete was so great to work with. His design was thoughtful and focused on user-experience and goals. He asked us many questions about how we envisioned using our new patio and designed to fit our actual habits, use, and budget. We were also trying to address small water patches in the basement during downpours that we suspected were due to poor grading and the need for better incorporation of gutters into our landscape. Aesthetically, the design work is exceptional. Some patios I've seen really look like a brick wall fell on the floor. Pete's work with the materials is more akin to artistry, resulting in a unique space that is natural, yet elegant and charming. The craftsmanship of the crew was amazing. They were expert, friendly, and fast. Very thankful for our transformed backyard -- and for our very dry basement! The re-grade TOTALLY worked. :)

New Leaf team exceeded our expectations. On a large replacement of our front steps down to the street New Leaf did a beautiful design, worked hard and skillfully in a lot of heat, no less. They replanted and moved bushes, did terrific boulder and step work, and cleaned up really thoroughly. And the team was nice and thoughtful and communicated well. Pete,Jeff and the crew are one of the best around. From start to finish they listen to the details of what you would like, consider your budget and create the landscaping project that is the absolute best for you. Pete is always available to answer any questions no matter how annoying (and yes I can be quite annoying) and dives into any detail you would want to know. Even years after doing a project, I know I can call on Pete for any landscaping questions. He has done two projects for us - the most recent in rebuilding the entire front walkway and retaining wall. We will most definitely use The New Leaf Landscaping company in the future for any outdoor project. We can't recommend them enough!!

The Owner, Pete, worked with us to create a project which turned out better than what we had envisioned - twice! Pete is super fast with communication, patient, and treated us like we were a big-ticket client even though we had a with a lower-end budget.

Pete understood my vision and used his expertise and skills to create something outstanding for our yard. He has a gift in creating polished, yet very natural, designs. I wanted a barrier to prevent grass and weeds from creeping into our garden beds and after some debate we decided that larger pieces of stone/brick would be the best option. I was concerned that this material would take away from the curve and flow of the garden beds, but Pete and his crew did not disappoint. In fact, they turned straight bricks into beautiful, soft, flowing lines that enhance the border even better than before!

Can't say enough great things about the company, people, and their work - would rate them 10/5 stars and will exclusively work with New Leaf Landscaping forever. Thank you, Pete!

I’ve worked with Pete and his team at New Leaf for 5 years now. They are communicative, professional, and thorough. In 2020 at the height of the pandemic they dug out my back yard and fully transformed it from an overgrown weedy yard to a gorgeous patio surrounded by plants not even I can kill! Then last year they did my front yard, taking out more overgrown plants and putting in an easy to maintain row of bushes. During that work I decided we needed more plants along the house and a gravel area to store trash cans. They accommodated my change in direction and delivered exactly what was needed.

Pete guarantees his plants and work, and responds quickly to questions and concerns.

I couldn’t recommend them more, and talk about them to everyone I know needing work - from mulching and grassing to total transformations.

Working with Pete and his crew at New Leaf was very easy. They went above an beyond, making sure that we were pleased with the new landscaping and walkway to our new deck. The final product was beautiful and we were able to enjoy the space this summer. Highly recommend!

We hired Pete in 2006 in the early days of New Leaf Landscaping to design and install patio pavers at our front entrance. After 19 years of Michigan winters, the step and a few of the pavers needed to be re-set with new and improved poly-sand. We were happy to find that the company is still in business and thriving!
