My husband and I recently had electrical work done by Streamline Electric and it was wonderful! Mike was super professional, kind, and knew exactly what our 110 year old house needed to fix the issues we had with some of our electrical outlets. We will also be using this company to install some antique chandeliers and look forward to getting those in place. I highly recommend Streamline Electric for any electrical needs.

While it was initially a little difficult to get hold of them, especially via phone, they do also have a website to request service and they got back to us after a little bit. That part was a little annoying, but what I did like was that they were very upfront about their pricing and we knew exactly what to expect.

David came to my house and did an excellent job. He was professional, very nice, and solved our problem with his expertise. I like supporting Detroit businesses and I was glad to have David and streamline do work for us.

Streamline was recommended by a friend and I am very thankful it was! The pricing was transparent and the electricians went above and beyond to diagnose and fix the problem in the least disruptive way possible to our home. In the course of the work they even identified another issue and fixed it at no additional charge. The technicians also priced their services to help us stay within budget and ultimately found a way to solve the problem using less material thereby saving us further money. Great experience from top to bottom.

Saulo and Mike were professional, courteous, and efficient. They explained the installation process and most importantly they worked to make sure my flowers were not disturbed too much. Saulo and Mike did excellent work and a pleasure to meet.

Worst customer experience ever. We’ve failed 2 inspections. Streamline has had over 2 months to fix the problem. They came out once, did not fix the problem. Two other times David and Jamilla scheduled them to come out. Both times were no shows. Of course they are paid in full and could obviously care less that our EV charging station is a fire hazard.

Great installation by Henry at Streamline electric! He was on time, courteous and did a very quick clean installation of my level 2 charger. I highly recommend this company.

Streamline Electric installed a new 220 line in my garage for my car charger. Mike and his apprentice did a great job on the install. They were on time, courteous and informative, in and out in few hours their work was neat, professional and they cleaned up afterward. I would definitely recommend Streamline Electric for anyones for your electrical needs. Also my wife loved that they texted a photo of the installer before his arrival.

Install was done well and the estimator and the installation electricians were all friendly. Only reason they did not receive 5 stars is that for both appointments (estimate and install) appointments were scheduled for noon, so I could go into work in the morning and then be home when they arrived at noon. For both appointments, they showed up hours earlier than expected so I had to drop everything at work to come home. Why make appointments if you don’t stick to them?

Mike arrived as scheduled, prepared to start. He explained panel installation with his aim to do as little "damage" possible to walls and ceiling. He was personable, professional and knowledgeable. He was able to troubleshoot and quickly locate the reason the second floor lost power. Mike made helpful suggestions regarding using dedicated lines for mini fridge, window air conditioner, microwave, etc considering the circuitry of this older house. We are extremely satisfied with Mike Stewart and the team at Streamline Electric. Inc.

They were on time, very friendly, and professional. he diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a timely manner and i didn't feel like he upcharged me just because they can. Additionally, I didn't even have to ask him to put on shoe covers and he remembered to take them off and on each time he went outside. I'll definitely recommend to others

The change over of my electric service from fuses to a 100 amp circuit panel was handled over 3 visits. I'm glad they surveyed the work to be done well. Each visit was great. I had been coping with the old service and it's problems for too long. There is now plenty of room for future projects needing electric in the house. I'm glad we used a Detroit based company that is a member of IBEW Local 58.

Great service by Streamline Electric of Detroit. First of all, these guys actually answered the phone and seemed more than happy to help me figure out how to install a 240 volt outlet in my garage for my new Tesla. I think it’s important to point this out because I called four other reputable electricians who either said they couldn’t get an estimator out for TWO MONTHS (an ESTIMATOR not the actual install) or they acted as if it would be too much of a pain to install. It’s also important to note that I live in a very old house, built in 1920 that a lot of tradesmen don’t prefer to deal with.
The guy that scheduled the appointment had me to send him pictures via text message of the circuit breaker boxes and the specs of the charger and all that I wanted them to do. They gave me an estimate a few hours later and I was happy to pay a deposit right on the spot. They got me scheduled for the following week.
Now to the actual install. Henry was here on time and extremely pleasant. He looked at everything and quickly assessed how/where he would run the conduit and place the receptacle for me. I was so desperate that I really didn’t care where he put it - I was cool with it even being outside of my garage if it was easier for him -but he wanted to make sure I was happy with its placement. He kept me posted of any change in cost from the estimate and completed the job by himself in less than 5 hours!! He just really took his time with everything and made it just right and his work was neat!! My expectations were so low after speaking with so many other electricians who didn’t seem to want the job- that I really wasn’t expecting the experience to be this good! Don’t get me wrong, I get it that covid has put a strain on the skilled trades industry (every industry for that matter). But just the way these guys handled themselves from the initial phone call to the install - was just fantastic. I was going CRAZY driving an electric car and using nothing more than the 110v outlet - talk about range anxiety!! Geez!!! Henry has made my life so much easier!! I am very appreciative of his skill, professionalism and kind demeanor. Thank you Henry and Streamline Electric.

This has to be THE MOST PROFESSIONAL contracting group I've EVER worked with. From getting an estimate, getting an EV charger install, Streamline was on top, arrived early, did exactly what they said, they were so helpful.

Update 05/30/24 - I was having problems with the breaker triggering, Streamline came out and repaired under warrantee. Kevin Lefever was oh so helpful helping me get the emporium app setup correctly. This company is just such a pleasure to work with, if I could I would give the 10 stars.

We had a urgent project which needed to be completed by year end for a machine to be installed in our facility. The entire staff from head to toe worked around our schedule to assure a smooth installation. This was the 3rd time working with this company and they will be our go to for future work. On Time, Quality Work, and very reasonable for costs. You ill not be disappointed! Thanks again Streamline Electric!
