They have very poor customer service. Recently, they broke my sprinkler head while mowing. The sprinkler head is located on mulch area where they are not supposed to go with the lawnmower. I have sent repeated emails to Mr. Carl Mast (President) including the photo of the damaged sprinkler. It clearly has tire marks from the lawn mower. Despite multiple emails, they are refusing to acknowledge the issue.
If you call their office, calls are answered by Amanda who is rude and their office staff is not helpful either.

Update:
I received a call from Carl after the above review was placed. They finally fixed my sprinkler. I did explain my concern about their service as mentioned above. I was assured it will not happen again. Therefore, I am improving the rating above with the intention to closely monitor the service for the remaining season.

Just contracted with Meadowgreen for the first time and would not recommend them to anyone. They are unreliable for plowing and do not show up as promised. Also, their customer service is terrible, be prepared to hear the words "I'm sorry you feel that way" and not ever receive any genuine apology. Highly suggest going elsewhere for your plowing needs.

This is my 6th year using Meadowgreen and I won't use anyone else. Their service, communication, professionalism, & quality of work is top notch! The BEST money I spend each year! Thanks for your continued amazing service!!!!

This is our second year with Meadowgreen Inc. and we are impressed by the service, communication, and putting the customer first! Emails communicating when drivers are plowing, pre season plowing, and great customer service make loyal and happy customers. I would HIGHLY recommend!

This is our first year using Meadowgreen to snowplow our driveway. Their service has been first rate and, moreover, their email communications go way above and beyond to keep us regularly informed. Very pleased indeed.

This business provides excellent residential snow plow service. It also communicates by email with its customers on days plowing is planned, giving information as to current weather, forecasted weather, and as to current plowing that is in progress or has been completed. it also gives information as to the business's plans at the time the email is sent as to follow-up plowing. This candid and helpful communication by the business to and with its customers reflects a strong customer service attitude. They have also updated the equipment used for residential plowing, which we appreciate.

I am using Meadowgreen for snowplowing service for the first time this winter (2014/2015). So far so good. They have been proactive, consistent and reliable. Plus they communicate really well via email letting me know the status of the plowing. I will update this review later in the season.

After a little miscommunication getting work scheduled, I am unbelievably happy I picked MeadowGreen for my lawn care.

I had mulching, trimming, pruning, and mowing service done. My yard was in rough shape and they have it looking great now.

The owner personally did the quote for me and gave me a good deal. They were fast and efficient. Carl masts entire staff is friendly and they even gave me some free advice on how to get my lawn looking even better.

I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping or mowing service. They also do a great job with snow removal.

Book early, they are busy because they are good, but once they get going you'd think you're their only priority. Thanks for the great work and quality customer service.

This company left a hydraulic explosion from one of their units on my senior citizens property. After a week of pestering Carl, i left a review here, and he asked me to remove it and he would start the clean up. I removed it, they power washed the ground a little and left it. Its been over a month now. Paint is now peeling on the exposed surfaces on the house. Carpet is being ruined because my father is in a wheel chair and his entire drive is an oil slick. Carls reply is “too bad”

When it snows, this business means business! They have their routes figured out so that they get everyone cleaned out and ready to go when the time to go has arrived. They clean almost down to the surface and mother nature takes it from there.

BEST SERVICE IN 74 YEARS OF HAVING THIS DONE! Sidewalks and mailboxes are not a problem for these folks and they actually know the rules of where to put the snow. We count on them to keep us in the clear during this time of the year.

If they do this so well, who knows what they can do for your grass!!??

Meadowgreen has been our snow removal service for a number of years. They're service is next to none when it comes to timeliness and thoroughness when the snows arrive. I'm always first in line when it comes to renewing our contract for the next year.

Carl and Jon at Meadow Green are the best. I have used other lawn service companies in the past and my experience with Meadow Green has been better than with the rest. Mowing, fertilizing and mulching they are the best. We also used them for snowplowing service this past season for the first time and didn't have any problems and always woke up to a plowed driveway. I have recommended them to friends and family and everyone I have recommended them to has thanked me.

Can I just take a moment and say how great you guys are. Your communication is outstanding and the work you do is top notch. I rely on your emails when the snow falls far more than I do the news media.🙂 Thank you. You have a forever customer in me.

Meadowgreen is a great company to work with! We love how they watch and anticipate the weather. They keep you updated with emails. They come early so my husband does not have to shovel or snow blow at 5:30 am. He drives school bus and leaves very early. We highly recommend!

Meadowgreen has been taking care of my lawn and snow removal for years and I recommend them. They are professional and always take care of my concerns or questions.

I have been using Meadowgreen for fourteen years. They are my full service company. Lawn care, cutting, edging, leaf clean up an snow plowing without them I could not remain in my home. They are friendly and very professional.
I strongly recommend them.

This review is based on two different services. The first, snowplowing, I would rate as 5 stars. We have been using Meadowgreen plow service for 3+ years at this point and have never had a single issue. They are great with communication, come multiple times during storms, plow early before work and return to plow the ends of driveways after the snow plows come. Truly I have no complaints on this service.

The lawn service on the other hand, is a different story. We used Meadowgreen in 2017 for lawn service. Everything was going great until the end of the season. The last month or two was spotty. No one would show up for 2-3 weeks. When I called, I was told it was because someone had quit and just not shown up to do their work during their last 2 weeks. That night the manager came and mowed my lawn. No problem. The weeks that followed were also spotty, but since it was getting into fall, I wasn't as worried about it. 2018 started off bad. I got a new quote for lawn service, and the price jumped MORE THAN 50%. In 2017 I paid less than $1000, and it 2018 the price went up to $1,650. The reasons listed were terrain (the same terrain they quoted the year before and mowed the year before) and pet waste (again, same as last year and we actually try to clean it up the night before they come, but since they don't come on the same day every week, it's impossible; I'm assuming they have this issue with anyone who owns a dog?). This increase along with the spotty service at the end of 2017 didn't seem worth it to me. So, I called the company. I was told that someone would contact the manager and get back to me. I waited 2 weeks and called again. At this point I was already missing the window to get the early bird discount (because no one returned my call). The second time I called, the person was very nice, and again said she'd talk to the manager/owner and get back to me. Then, about a week later I get a call from the same woman saying that she was going calling everyone who used their service last year to see if they wanted to renew, and gather payment. I reminded her that no one had returned my call once again and she assured me the owner would be contacting me soon. Well, it's now July, halfway through the lawn season, and I still haven't received a reply. My husband is mowing this year and I don't plan on using or recommending Meadowgreen for lawn service ever again.

I have used Meadowgreen for snowplowing for a few years now. They do a great job. I especially appreciate that they make a second pass to clean up the mess left by city plows, and that they keep the mailbox approach clear. Communication is great with
daily emails whenever there is snow.

This is my 2nd year with Meadowgreen. I'm trusting them to take care of my snowplowing needs and they have never let me down. We have been hit with a huge winter snow event and it was comforting hearing the plow blades drop at about 2:30am this morning. Then, as I got up to go to work, I heard the sound of snowplow blades dropping again from my driveway area. I looked out my window and what a welcome sight it was to see my snowplower hitting the driveway and driveway entrance just before I had to leave for work. In my opinion, they are going to have a difficult time providing better service than this! Keep up the great work!

Meadowgreen provides my Dad’s lawn care and snowplowing. They are responsive, communicative and caring. They have been outstanding professionals during this recent snowstorm. Can’t say enough good things about them. Thank you!

This is my first year using their snowplow services. The real tests of service comes in the midst of the storm, literally. They were there multiple times, they connect with customers via email on the weather and how they plan to handle it and they inform when they will be out to clear the driveway and then back to clear the approaches. They provide top notch service and did not disappoint.
