Carl did an exceptional job crafting and installing custom crown molding on our kitchen cabinets. He also replaced a dated light fixture with new dimmable LED ceiling lights, which required electrical work, plaster and painting, all performed with excellence. Two new pendant lights were also installed, again with superior craftsmanship. We couldn't be more pleased with our updated kitchen!

Carl Williams is a great contractor to work with. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and was willing to pick up home improvements items I ordered online. Would request Carl for add’t home repairs specifically.

Contacted them about a tv mounting service and install wall concealments for cords while I’m currently out of state. Tech came in and quoted me 700 for a simple job. Pricing is very high with these guys

I cannot say enough good things about this company! John was our technician and his work is amazing! Our house is very old, so I knew that we would need to hire a company that had experience, knew what they were doing, and warranties are always a plus! We had 2 entry way doors installed, as well as 2 storm/security doors, it took some work and a lot of elbow grease to say the least, we had a few kinks in the road but Mr. Handyman really came through, and safe to say I think these doors will last forever! They are very quick to respond to your messages, the customer service is outstanding and John really takes pride in his work! It's rare to find companies like this one where they want to make sure everything is up to par, we got a couple different quotes and not only is Mr. Handyman affordable but for the quality work they do it was a no brainer for us.

I was given a quote for half the job I wanted done, with no color match on the repair. While waiting days for a call back, they sent same quotes again, asking me to review. When I finally talked with him, he said he was trying to give me a deal and lowest quote, but hey, that does not mean quoting for half the job! I told him he could re-quote for the full job, but that's not happening.

My repairman, Aaron, arrived promptly at 8AM. He looked at my soffit that needed repairing, gave me information on how much it would cost to repair it. I agreed and he left to purchase materials. He finished the work in a timely manner and it looks brand new again. He cleaned up afterwards which I appreciate.
I would wholeheartedly recommend him. Very nice, friendly and communicates clearly so the homeowner can understand the situation.

Great experience with Mr Handyman. Needed a section of wood flooring replaced due to a dishwasher leak. Chad from Mr. Handyman an in and did a great job of replacing the flooring. Looks great!

Carl and Chad from Handyman Greater GR handled a variety of wall installation, wall repair, prep, and wall painting throughout our upstairs and downstairs rooms. They primarily worked with my wife and she truly enjoyed their professional and courteous behavior, attention to detail, and results are excellent. Work was completed on time and price came in under the quote! We will be working Handyman of Greater GR again.

Carl did a fantastic job with my living room lighting. He removed the 10 light fixtures that had old ballasts and replaced with LED lights and Installed two outlets. He was professional, knowledgeable, timely, and friendly. My living room finally has great lighting. Highly recommend

Over the last few months, Carl from Mr. Handyman has remodeled two of our bathrooms. Carl has lots of experience working on bathrooms and really knew his stuff! He did a great job communicating with us throughout the process and is friendly and professional. My husband and I are really happy with how our bathrooms turned out! We've also worked with another gentleman from Mr. Handyman in the past to have our attic stairs fixed. We've had a great experience every time we've worked with Mr. Handyman and would absolutely recommend their company for home repair services!

I had exactly the experience I hoped to have with Mr Handyman. Although I knew I would pay a premium for their services, I got what I paid for. Chad did an exceptional job hanging 10 art pieces, some very large and cumbersome. Chad was skilled, methodical, and respectful of the house. This is the first time using Mr. Handyman in Grand Rapids, and have used them successfully in other locations as well. I highly recommend Mr. Handyman of Greater Grand Rapids, and if you can request Chad, I recommend him too.

Carl and Chad did a fantastic job refinishing our basement. They hung drywall, replaced windows, hung doors, wired new lights, trim, etc. I appreciated their consultation and recommendations for navigating the quirks of our basement. They also completed the job faster than I thought possible. I will definitely use Mr. Handyman again!

My community is suddenly littered with illegal yard signs that make my neighborhood look trashy.

I wouldn't hire a company that shows disregard for its neighbors and ignores laws for marketing.

Streetside yard signs are violations of pretty much every city's codes (including Walker, Grand Rapids, Kentwood, etc) and so are signs on telephone poles, highway exits and commercial property without permitting. It's not an accidental overstep or two; the signage strategy is just plain illegal from the start. Ameliorating the problem doesn't require much more information (city codes are easy to access, and you could also call the city offices to ask). Just removing all the signs and not using them anymore is the basic solution.
