They did an amazing job. Removed 7 trees, 5 bushes and trimmed five other trees all in the same day with three people, including Spencer, the owner. They cleaned up their mess thoroughly too. Very satisfied and would recommend. An outstanding experience!

Spencer and his team did an amazing job! They removed 2 very large pine trees in my Moms yard in a timely manner and did a great job cleaning up. I would highly recommend Tree Fish for any tree removal needs.

Very efficient, even when it was light rain, they continued the job.They were the entertainment for the local neighbors who remarked on the skills and equipment that was used. Left the area cleaned up with nothing but a pile of grindings, which they said would be. would definitely hire again.

These guys did a great job! We had a very large old oak that kept dropping large limbs and had to go. From the beginning their customer service was excellent! They showed up when they said they would, safely removed this giant tree, and when they left you would have never known they were there; They probably left it cleaner than when they arrived. Best of all, the price was one of the lowest bids we got. We highly recommend this company!

It's rare to find home service contractors that do what they say they're going to do and even rarer to find one at a reasonable price. Spencer and his crew did a fantastic job of removing 6 large trees, chopping the brush and grinding the stumps, and they cleaned up the entire area so you wouldn't know those trees ever exisited. They will be 1st on my list for any future business.

Matt did an excellent job. He was professional and friendly. The work was completed as promised and was reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Tree Fish.

These guys are great! Prompt and respectful, they responded quickly to my call to remove a very large tree that was beginning to lean over our house a little more every day this past week. Their prices were straightforward and fair. After a huge job they did a thorough clean-up before leaving. These are now my tree guys, thank you so much for helping me on such short notice!

Just to add we had Tree Fish back to take down 3 more trees in very tight places between two houses and they excelled again (even with heat index of 100!) No damage to homes and minimal damage to ground cover due to their use of weight distribution mats. They didn't leave until the clean up was complete. Their prices were fair and work incredibly fast.

Tree Fish arrived around 2:45 pm left around 5:45pm. It is amazing how much they did in such a short time. The tree is gone and they cleaned up all the branches and ground the stump including the protruding roots. Their work was excellent, timely, and neat.

The guys arrived on time and are very knowledgeable. They got right to work and completed the job in a timely manner. The clean up was awesome. No complaints. Yes, I would call Tree Fish again! Thank for a job well done!

I just had a large tree removed, and two trees trimmed by Tree Fish. They did a wonderful, very efficient job!! Their whole staff and crew are very professional, answering any questions I had about my trees, and the process of removing and trimming them! They cleaned up every bit of debris when they finished the job! Also, the pricing for the work was very good, as compared to other quotes I had! We couldn't be any happier! Our old friend The Maple, of approx. 80 yrs. old had begun to deteriorate inside at the base. We couldn't take a chance of it harming a neighbors home or ours. After learning that my regular tree service guy retired, I began the search for a new tree service company to do my tree work. Along with a recommendation, I googled top tree service companies in Grand Rapids. I started with 4 companies that I chose from the list. At the end of the visits with all 4, I knew immediately who I was going with - Tree Fish.
Spencer came out to look and discuss the tree job and what I was looking to have done. I was impressed with his work ethics - he took the time to listen to my ideas and answer all my questions. He went over everything in detail. Even when I had more questions, after I received my estimate, he took the time to call and go over each one.
It was an unusual job being that some of the tree trimming was on my neighbor's property. When my neighbor called the office to ask questions, both Spencer and Erica (office staff) took the time to answer them as well as Spencer making a visit to her house.
Last Friday, November 21, 2025, Brandon, David, and Matthew came to my house to do the job. From the start they were friendly and respectful. They took the time to go over everything with me. Together, they worked well as a team. They are skilled in what they do - knowing how to make the cuts, secure the branches, climbing trees, being careful and respectful of my lawn, using the machines, and cleaning up the mess. My yard was perfect after everything was gone.
Thank you for a job well done! You are now my #1 tree company when/if I need tree work.

Not one to be over complimentary, but here are my thoughts.

Exceptional workmanship, demonstrated professionalism, and superb customer service. Matt led the project and together with Brandon (sp) finished within a reasonable amount of time. We sought Tree Fish as a locally owned business but did not really know about the company.

It started with the assessment of our request, where I met Spencer. He was insightful, professional and provided us an estimate with probability of a start up within two weeks. We agreed on the price and Tree Fish was able to start within a week for the removal of our tree.

Two neighbors have inquired about Tree Fish and we have highly recommended Tree Fish. We are also going to post on our community HOA website a very positive review.

Lastly we appreciate Tree Fish’ great customer service from Spencer, Erica, Matt and Brandon.

Tree Fish was great! The team was kind and professional-from the very reasonable quote to the actual tree removal. We had a very tall old tree in a complicated spot -near newer trees and landscaping. They were able to come in and cut the dead part off, keeping as much of the healthy part of tree as they could. No damage to other new trees or landscaping! They also took down many dead branches around our yard. They were great, I would highly recommend and will use again. We found our tree guys!
