I find this company and it’s employees to be the most disrespectful, unprofessional lawn care company that I have ever seen. I walked out to witness 6 of their employees blowing leaves and pine needles with pine sap all over my brand new truck that I just bought 2 weeks ago . When I questioned the workers and asked them why they were blowing lawn particles all over parked cars and if this was the professional way to do it I didn’t not receive an answer my question. I would not want this company or it’s employee’s to be anywhere remotely close to anything of mine again do it their lack of respect for other people’s property.

Landscape Designhas always impressed me with their quality work and rapid response to our requests.

Long lead time to get a call to even schedule an estimate. Estimator was bad at communication. Quote came in way too expensive, so we will not be using them. Felt like just another number for the books at the end of the day.

Jeremy Bakker has designed landscaping and garden spaces for two homes I have owned. He is incredibly creative while tailoring the spaces to my tastes. He worked with me to reduce costs and used native plantings which ensure healthy, maintainable landscaping. Keith Johnston and team fertilizes and manages pest control annually. Landscape Design offers many services; you choose with ones best suit you. I could not have asked for a better landscaping partner than this knowledgeable and respectful team.

Landscape Design has consistently given us a great looking lawn. They are our winter snow removal provider, our summer Lawncare specialist and have installed a path between facilities with large boulder walls on each side. It looks fantastic. Responded to me initial call promptly, quoted quickly and fit me into the schedule sooner than I expected. Crew Arrived exactly at 8:00 am as planned, stayed until work was finished and cleaned up after. Grant followed up the next day to make sure everything was right. Great overall experience.

We have used Landscape Design Services for the last four years for the initial design and construction of various landscaping projects on our property, annual Spring mulching, as well as on-going lawn fertilization and weed control, plant fertilization, and tree insecticide and fungicide treatments. The quality of their work is outstanding.
All of the LDS staff is professional and responsive. It’s a pleasure to work with all of them!

Happy with the "design" not happy with the selection of plant material. My property is in the woods in south Holland. The plants suggested were day lilies and hosta, lots of them. First year or two went well but then the deer found them. My issues is (being naïve about what deer eat and don't eat) I relied on my rep to know. To combat the deer I have tried the deer repellants, didn't work, tried a motion activated water spray, didn't work. Bottom line is all my hosta get eaten to the ground every year and the day lilies get bitten off just before budding. Our rep should have know this problem, called and did not receive a return call. Beware...

Posted 8/7/18 - Got a reply quickly (7/24) that someone from Landscape Design would call me, as of today (8/7) have not heard from them.

Posted 9/16 - called them again after not returning my calls. Finally got ahold of the rep that did our design on 8/15. Said he would be in my area the next week to discuss. As of 9/16 never heard from him. They should take "services" out of their name.

LDS has been doing quality work at our home since 1997. Our landscaping is beautiful and makes a pleasurable setting for living and entertaining. We have come to know many of the staff at LDS and look forward to their visits every year.

We have very much enjoyed our work relationship with LDS. Their design skills indicate a high level of attention to detail and their execution of the plans maintain a "get it done right the first time" work ethic. We've appreciated their efforts and definitely recommend Landscape Design Services as a trustworthy company.

In the past I had a great experience, so I thought I would use them again. This time I was very disappointed and felt that I was lied to. I met with Scott G and was under the assumption that he was making landscape plans for our business. He told me it would be 5-6 weeks. I said that was okay. I have touched base with him since then, and it has now been close to 10 weeks. He knew we were waiting on him and we wanted to get it done ASAP. Today I touched base with him again to see when I could expect to get my plans. I was then informed by him that it would now be fall, but he really didn't seem to want to do them at all. He was not truthful with me, he didn't keep me informed, and I will simply not be using him or your company again. That isn't how you run a successful business.

We have used Landscape Design Services for about 15 years and at 3 different houses. Every person we have had contact with is very professional. They stand behind their work and want all their customers to be happy with their services.
