Great people to deal with. One of the few people left out there that want to make money and help people if they can. U need a tree down or brush cleaned I couldn't recommend a better company.

Silver Maple was falling down and he made it to my house so fast to save the day! Hardest working gentleman I have ever seen not exaggerating. He even taught me a few things about trees at no extra cost.

These guys are thieves!!!! Don't give them a nickel. They stole thousands of dollars in log from me. They had nothing to do with cutting the trees down. They left a trailer for collateral. They came back in the middle of the night and took the trailer and never paid ne a nickel for my logs. It's all on video from the conversation about splitting the $ on the logs to the stolen trailer in the middle of the night.

Dwight, Missy and team arrived and dealt with a 150’ tree with a split down the middle that needed to be dropped between a well head and an electric transformer- very challenging and the team did a fantastic job - price was fair and the performance was top notch - thank you

Good work at a good price. Dwight and his team removed several large branches from two maple trees in my back yard. When they were finished they left the yard cleaner than it was when they began. I would definitely recommend them and will probably use them again myself in the future.

I am not a spiteful or vindictive person so I take no joy in writing negative reviews but I think its important that I share my experience.

I just purchased a home in Brooklyn and I needed to have a couple trees removed. I called a few tree removal services. Three of them were disconnected phone numbers and three responded relatively quickly. Ryan was the first and he gave me a what I thought was a good price that I agreed to. He said he'd do it for less if I paid cash (first red flag) while I appreciated it, I asked if I paid full price if he could get it done quickly to which Ryan agreed. We agreed on the following Friday which was only a few days later. Friday came and I hadn't heard from Ryan by 1230 (as promised) so I called him and he said he text me twice and left me a voicemail, but hadn't heard from me. I'm not sure what he was allegedly waiting for since we previously agreed he was coming Friday for sure. (second red flag) The problem that came up as his story evolved was that my voicemail has been full for several years. I don't use it, and I had been texting other people all morning so i know the old story that I didn't get the voicemail or text messages he sent simply isn't true. I checked my phone history while I was on speaker phone with him. None of my texts were from him. (red flag number 3) When I asked him if they were still coming he said they "already knocked off for the day" (at 1230 on a Friday) and they could come next week, I have no idea why he would say he tried to reach me three times when he and I were the only people in the conversation. He had to know I knew he wasn't telling the truth. Last important point is that he said he'd email me a copy of the our quote and proof of his insurance and I never received that either. (fourth red flag). Yes I checked my spam and trash email boxes. It never came. So Ryan was unable to reach me via phone, text (twice) and email?!?

The summary is that Ryan was quick to give me a quote, quick to make promises about the work but slow to show up and perform. It was extremely hot that day so if that was the real reason-just say that. He never mentioned that. Instead he chose to make up a story that I KNEW wasn't true. It was insulting besides being inconvenient. I took the day off of work to be available and look where it got me.

Ryan did an outstanding job. He was very friendly (and funny), when he came over to give his quotes, which were more than fair prices. Great prices! He took down 8 huge oak trees for us, along with a very tall Hickory tree, and other big branches. Many were near or over the house and electric wires. He also worked amazing around our landscaping with no damage to anything. Ryan and his brother-in-law were great to work with and I appreciate their kindness. The hard work they do should not be taken for granted by people! We appreciate the job they did, and highly recommend them.

Everything was handled professionally. From the in person quote , the quality work completed as described including cleanup. I liked that he checked in with us during the day to see if it was going according to plan .
Showed up in a timely manner and did a great job. Texts sent and received were also timely and helpful.

Backwoods Tree Co. did a great job for us. They took down 3 trees (one with3 large trunks). Very easy to work with, and made sure everything was cleaned up and taken away. We would definitely recommend them for a job well done.

Local and reasonably priced. Have used them several times. Will call them again when I need more tree work done. This is our bradford pear they trimmed recently.

Ryan did an awesome job cutting our trees down! He came on a Saturday to give us a quote and finished the job a week later. He is reliable and has a great work ethic. Very reasonable price. I highly recommend this company!

Tree Guy was GREAT.

I live in Jackson and needed a large tree that was very close to my home removed. Tree Guy responded to my initial inquiry quickly. No other company I contacted bothered to contact me back. So right off the bat they were ahead of their competition.

Due to my work schedule it took a few days to get the estimate, but Randy was thorough in explaining the cost and the reason for it.

My wife and I deliberated for a few days then set up the removal. We had been told there would be about a two month wait.

Almost exactly two months later the crew got started early on a Wednesday morning. They worked until mid-afternoon that day then let us know they were calling it for the day.

This tree was so massive it almost looked like they’d just given it a quick haircut, and I was sure it would take at least a couple more days.

They started at the same time the next morning. At about 1:15pm I let one of the crew know we had to take a pet to a vet appointment. When we returned around 2:15, the tree was gone.

I was shocked. The amount of work they did that morning was incredible.

The crew stayed on for several more hours doing cleanup duty. They cleared up the sticks and logs, then spent a good amount of time raking, sweeping, and blowing the sawdust and chips until there was nothing left.

We had not arranged to have the stump removed because we had not really thought about that, and we really just needed the tree down as quickly as possible. Randy arrived right as the crew was wrapping up and talked to me about the stump removal. We will be scheduling that shortly.

I was so impressed with the entire process. Randy’s estimate, the crew’s professionalism and speed, and the way they cleaned up were all amazing.

I want to add a quick note about Kellie, the person behind the screen that responded to messages and questions via text. Responsive, polite, and thorough. Even dumb questions I had like “How can we pay?” were answered quickly and in a friendly way.

Top notch all around. One of my neighbors was so impressed with the work he wrote the number on the side of the truck down for work he needs done, and when I told another neighbor how much we paid he said we got a really good deal based on how much it cost him to have a tree removed a few years earlier.

Randy The Tree Guy and his team did an awesome job taking down a half dead 35 foot tall oak tree and a few more bushes around our yard. He was meticulous and very organized and efficient during the process. I would highly recommend The Tree Guy Services for anyone looking for a quality service and fair pricing.

This is the third time we have used The Tree Guy and just like before we could not be more pleased. They are professional, friendly, and efficient. They cleaned up everything after finishing and checked that we were satisfied. The pricing was very good and they were here the day after giving us a quote. We could not recommend them higher!

Randy and his crew came out and did a great job had trees removed some trimmed and stump grinding all done. They did it all in less than 8 hours when others said a day and a half to get done. He even did a little more trimming then expected.

My overall experience with The Tree Guy was way better than expected and his price was better than the others. They respond in a reasonable time frame. I would like to thank him and his crew for working so hard and fast to get everything done in a timely fashion

We had an old dead Maple tree that we knew we'd have to have taken down sooner than later. The wind storm we had on New Year's took care of that for us. The Tree Guy Services came out to quote THAT DAY -- IN PERSON-- and gave us a very reasonable quote to remove the tree and grind the stump. They came the very next afternoon and it was amazing to watch the crew work so well together to get it done so quickly. They will be the people we call for anything else we may need. Professional, courteous, and hard working people making an honest living-- from Kelly who answered my first call to Randy who ran the crew. Thank you guys!!!

I could not be more impressed from the service of this tree removal company. I called them at 4pm on the day it happened and they came to my house around 5:30pm, while it was snowing outside.

Randy gave me a very good rate to remove both the trees so we booked it for the next morning. Randy and his team showed up, removed the two trees (along with a third in the neighbors yard), before the tree gave and fell into the house. No damage to the house, fence, or anything else on the property thanks to them.

I highly recommend this service to anyone looking to get a tree removed. Great rates, great service, and above all that very friendly.
