I've been waiting since July 2016 for them to grind a stump out. Supposedly have a contract with the city I live in. When I call them the standard reply is "you're on our list and someone will call you shortly". Still waiting for that call.

Highly recommend! Needed a tree taken out and another trimmed. Very professional and friendly. Price was very reasonable.

I had them out to remove 2 trees and 1 large tree limb from above my house. The service was quick and affordable, they were very friendly, and I would definitely use them again.

Ashton took care of a large fallen tree the same day I called. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended business.

Short and rude on the phone. Would have accepted their quote and signed the contract but between their rude secretary acting like I was an annoyance for forgetting I reached out to them a week ago (with having talked to dozens of companies in the past week to get a variety of work done to prepare a house to sell) and her inability to give me an idea of a date before signing a contract made me uncomfortable with booking their service.

I had a large tree hanging over my driveway that was starting to become a problem. Mike and his crew did a great job removing the tree and a thorough cleanup.

I use Ashton for my tree trimming & removal, and Angry Bear for my lawn services. Couldn't be happier with my choice! Always reliable and professional.

I had Ashton do a landscaping/drainage project in my yard. I could not be happier with their work or professionalism. The work turned out great and it was very timely. I highly recommend them for landscaping work.

Jeremy, the foreman, quoted the installation and executed the work in quick and orderly fashion. The job was incredibly difficult as no heavy equipment could be used. 88’ wall constructed entirely by hand!

Hired Ashton to bury our downspouts, build a retaining wall, add top soil and sod to our new construction. Beyond happy with the outcome! They did a great job and in a timely fashion. Thank you!

Came out to observe the grounds and landscaping. Wrote up an estimate. The crew shows up and demands more money or they won't do the job. huh? Bait & Switch.
We had the written contract in our hands!! No good. Manager had to be called out. They finally agreed to follow the contract. Even so, the job was left halfway done. Just as another reviewer stated happened to them. Mind you, this was all in writing yet they STILL argued about it. Awul workmanship and experience. I'd keep looking if I were you.

We hired them for major landscaping and brick paving work, We are extremely unhappy with the quality of work. Brick pavers and sod around it was done without proper grading leading to puddles of standing water when it rains. We paid top dollars and received cheap plants, and some of the plants have already died. We had to cut part of sod to drain the standing water. When we called them to come and fix some of the grading issues we didn't receive any response. I had to pay another contractor to come and fix the issues. We also had to buy few new plants to replace the ones which died. Don't use them.

I can't say enough about how great they were. They did an amazing job trimming our Black Walnut tree. They were so professional, quick, efficient and tidy. My yard was spotless when they left. I would highly recommend their services.

Update: They just came back and took care of the issue, so I'm improving my rating. I mainly hired them to cut back the branches overhanging my house, plus some othee tree work. They did well with everything except for removing the branches hanging over my house. After many phone calls and one visit confirming that the work was not properly done, and many promises to fix it, they never did.

Just had these guys remove a large dead tree from the corner of our backyard. They were fast and courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and took care of getting their equipment into and out of the yard without going through the house, and got the tree down cleanly around wires, fences, and iur fire pit. Excellent work for an excellent price, and we will definitely hire them again when it's time to remove the tree in the other corner of the yard.

Would NOT recommend Ashton for landscaping. Jeremy and is crew came out two weeks after the original promised date (after taking half down) They show up, it's a bunch of young kids just standing there until Jeremy tells them what to do. They ran out of material for our retaining wall, so he asks for money. Doesn't bring the right size tree, so we were supposed to get money off (that didn't happen). Not even a month later...weeds EVERYWHERE he planted and he was supposed to remove a yucca plant that has now sprouted up EVERYWHERE! I have called and called, left messages and still no return call from Jeremy...oh and according to Ken they don't use landscape barrier and obviously don't care about their customers satisfaction. Stay away from Ashton for landscaping!

Had Ashton over to remove some overgrown shrubs & trees. Jeremy and his crew did an exceptional job cleaning up and recommended some low maintenance plants to replace the ones they took out. Looking forward to them coming back soon.

I just had 2 trees taken down by Ashton. Had an appointment set for a Monday but they had to move it to Wednesday because the climber was sick. I've been there so it wasn't a big deal for me. They showed up and got to work first thing. They worked 1 tree around my and my neighbors power, phone, and cable lines being very careful. They cleaned up after both days it took to take the trees down. They had to come back a few days later to grind the stump but didn't Bill a dime of it until the work was 100% done.

Used Ashton last weekend after the storm blew through and dropped a tree across my driveway. Rich came out to give me an estimate for removal, but his crew evidently was across town removing a tree off a house already. He went out of his way to cut enough of the tree our of the way so I could get my mother to her appointment. His crew came later in the day and finished the job with perfect clean up. The other companies I called finally showed up after the job was completed.
