I talked to Alex to schedule an appointment to remove a large tree trunk from my yard. I also asked him to trim branches that made it difficult to mow my lawn and prevent animals from climbing on the roof of my house. He agreed to do the work a day after we talked. He's extremely professional and knowledgeable about the work he does. I look forward to working with him again for future projects! I will recommend True Cut Tree Services to my friends and family whether it's my siblings or other relatives (I have several who live in the metro Detroit area as well as friends and neighbors. They do excellent work and deserve a higher rating than 5 stars!

Last Sunday we had very strong winds in the area that was tearing limbs from trees. Unfortunately for me a big tree limb fell on my home itself. I called my insurance and they asked me to find a contractor by myself. Anyways, the insurance wasn't very helpful so I searched Google and found True Cut Tree Care Services. Based on the reviews I decided to give them a call and got ahold of the secretary and she put me in touch with Frank one of the contractors. In a matter of 5 minutes he was able to let me know he could bring a crew in 30 minutes to my home. I was hesitant at first but I could tell based on what Frank was saying was that he was very experienced with tree removal and also dealing with insurance. He also shared a photo of the home he was currently at where he removed a tree limb that was as big as the one that fell on our home. So I thought if they can remove that they can remove the one from our house. So I went ahead with them and they came to our home when they said they would. I could tell immediately they were professionals with the right gear and also equipment. They had cherry pickers and cranes to remove the tree limb. It was still windy and they continued working after the daylight was gone. It was removed with no complications and they were also able to refer another contractor to tarp the roof as it had holes. If I ever have a similar issue again I would definitely contact them first next time.

We hired Frank and his team to cut down our very wide/tall fir tree because it began to lean significantly after high winds (Frank offered a free consultation/estimate prior to booking). The quote was more than fair for the amount of work they had ahead. The team arrived on time on the agreed upon date, took care in the felling of the tree (avoiding power/telephone/cable lines and placing it in a perfect spot in the yard when it landed), and did a fantastic job cleaning up. We highly recommend True Cut Tree Care Service!

I have used a few tree service companies since owning my home and Frank/the tru cut team are by far the best. They have the best equipment, staff and knowledge in the industry. From their professional attitude to the courtesy and care they showed my family I would never use another tree service. The guys were all very professional. They did a great job taking down this very big old tree. They were very safe and polite. They made sure that they cleaned everything up. They were also very fairly priced. They even cut me a new live edge table out of the tree base.

Hurricane Helene uprooted many trees on my property in South Carolina. Four big oak trees ended up on my house with multiple branches penetrating the roof into the attic. The True Cut team expertly removed those big heavy trees without causing further damage. They worked many hours and didn't finish until midnight. Their equipment and skills are impressive. I'm so glad they came down south to help the many folks like me get back into their homes.

Team dis a great job! Trimmed a huge overgrown tree at our new home and removed several trees and ground the stumps! Pricing was very good, and they were in and out in a couple of hours. Definitely recommend them

True Cut came out to a home I recently purchased that was incredibly over grown. So overgrown in fact, I was starting to be fined by the city.

When Frank came to take a look he immediately put all my worries at ease with his level of knowledge, and professionalism.

They knew exactly what needed to be done and exactly how to do it just by looking at the project.

Every company I had come give me a quote, said that the project would take roughly 4-5 days to complete start to finish. (My project consisted of everything! Tree removal, tree trimming, pruning, stump grinding and even removed a couple stumps entirely)

When I tell you Frank and his crew showed up ready to party, I mean it! These guys started my project at 8 am on the dot and they were all wrapped up and headed home that same day by 5:30.

These guys operate with true precision, and respect the art of tree work (as well as respect for my home and my property LOL). I will not hesitate to have them out again if the need arises.

Awesome job!!! We ran into a lot of different company’s quotes and got a fair price and HI-Tech equipment with Alex which was committed the whole time and very responsive. The TCTCS team showed a lot of experience the entire time and we haven’t had any issues or damages. We got two big old sugar maple trees which had to be removed due age and they were too close from the house. I highly recommend this company.

Would highly recommend this company. Alex and his crew were extremely polite and respectful. They were very responsive and did an excellent job removing 3 large trees from our yard. They came out the same day we called for a quote and we're back the very next day to do the job. They were very efficient and everything was cleaned up and looked so nice when they were done. We felt we got a great price too.

The crew showed up when promised, and all were very respectful of my landscape. They did an amazing job in only two hours! The equipment was in great shape and the crew worked well together and were very safety conscious. A great job!!

Justin, Alex, Frank and their entire team did an awesome job taking down two 50-60’ trees. One of which had grown extremely close to our house in between ours and our neighbors home and one in the front of the house which was unfortunately dying.

They brought in an amazing amount of all the right equipment that made what could have been a very stressful job progress with ease. It was very interesting watching them methodically work to remove both trees. They definitely know what they are doing and were very friendly and helpful along the way.

The entire crew really didn’t stop moving the whole time they were here. Whether they were cleaning up debris, filling up the chipper, climbing up and tying off large branches, grinding down the stumps…they were all really working hard throughout the afternoon.

We requested some wood for our fire pit and they left us a great pile of very manageable sized pieces of wood that we will be able to cut down and fill up our wood rack with nicely.

They were coming from another work site and did a good job of keeping us informed of their arrival. Their prices are very competitive and they were in and out in under four hours. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a skilled tree care crew!

True Cut is one of the best! Very professional and experienced team. Extremely friendly, great communication through the entire process. Removed 4 pine trees (40+ feet tall) quick and safely. They got the best equipment, everything was cleaned up nicely. Super happy with True Cut and would highly recommend their service!

Absolutely spectacular service, amazing tree work, great prices, friendly. I genuinely cannot recommend these folks highly enough. They took out a very tricky 80 foot siberian elm for me that was less than 12" from our garage wall. They did it with power lines in close proximity and a house 20 feet away. They didn't drop a single thing on a roof, they were in and out in ~3.5 hours, the crew was professional and friendly.

Honestly, if I got half the service and competence from everyone I hired that these folks displayed, I'd be ecstatic.

They even waited to fire up the chipper/shredder until nearly everything was out on the street, without my asking, to save the neighbors extra noise and (I would guess) because it's just more efficient. I met the owner as well, extremely easy to work with and he even got an extra stump ground out that I hadn't initially asked him to do.

Unbelievable work, truly. And everyone I've talked to who had trees removed has been utterly floored at how reasonable the price was. Honestly... if you're in the Detroit area, at least get these folks out to quote you on the large projects. They have all the right equipment, they're careful and safe, they even blew all the woodchips/sawdust off the garage roof when they were done!
