We are on the 3rd treatment for the season. Everything is going well, and we are pretty satisfied with the company. I spoke to the employee that came to do the fertilizer treatment, and he gave me some advice about further treatment that we should consider. Warning - This place does not work for small properties. I am moving out of state and have quit my job, waiting to sell my house. It is a small in city, neighborhood house with like 50ft of yard. The shrubs need trimming and some basic weeding needs to be done to make it look more presentable.

This company charges a flat rate of $100 for just cutting the lawn, plus an additional $95/hr per employee to come spend 15 minutes trimming the bushes and ripping up weeds. But there is a caveat, due to safety care, they must send out 2 employees minimum and will only come out for a minimum of 2 paid hours for each employee. So... $290 for a tiny house...

Edit: Spoke with chester about some miscommunication and he explained the costs. He was rather polite and helpful. Unfortunately, I won't be hiring the for their services. Updated cost to better reflect the explanation and star rating.

These guys kept their promise, showed up on time, and did a remarkable job on my backyard swamp mess! Bushes, small trees had to be removed in an approx 10 x 70 foot area. Well done guys, kudos to Casey and helpers!

I have to say when I saw big lakes lawn care out doing some lawn cutting I was expressed, I walked over to talk to a man named Terry, I told him I couldn’t help but notice how well he was talking to the guys, teaching and explaining on how to do some of their job duties without belittling them. I told Terry I work for special needs adults and would recommend my company to take a look into big lakes lawn care with how professional these guys were. Great Job!!!

Big Lakes Lawncare recently did a spring clean up at my house. No other lawn service I've used in the past ever did such a great job! The professional crew of Ben, Gavin and Jeff were great - Grade A+. I am definitely a satisfied Great Lakes Lawncare customer.

5Star isn’t enough this company is amazing they knicked my sprinkler head while edging so I called and told them and the very next day they sent out a gentleman to fix it…Shout out to David Leroux not only did he replace the head but also put down some potting soil on a few bare spots and also put down grass seed.In speaking with David he told me he’s worked here for a couple years,you guys have one hell of an employee you have earned a customer for life!!!

Kyle and Jacob run a great crew. Super transparent and always willing to work with me if I see something I want given some extra attention. Recommend them for sure.

If you are in need of any pond repair or service, DO NOT use this company! We have been getting the run around all summer with problems related to our new pond installation. Nobody calls back or comes out as promised. The owner does not seem to care, only referring us back to the manager, Jason.

This season I began lawn service with Big Lakes Lawn Service. JJ and Victor have been maintaining my lawn this season. I am having some issues with my lawn this year because of the extreme weather conditions all of us have been facing in Michigan, but these individuals are doing a great job of keeping the weeds at bay and keeping my lawn maintained. I am thankful to both of them! On a side note I would like to say that I had an issue at my home while JJ and Victor were out performing their weekly maintenance last week. JJ stepped up and did not hesitate to help me resolve my issue and handled it with complete professionalism and calmness! I am so thankful he was there to help because I would have been in trouble had he not been there. JJ went above and beyond to help me, and I cannot thank him enough. This act of kindness will not be forgotten! Very thankful to have Big Lakes Lawn Service and JJ and Victor caring for my lawn! Great job fellas!

Jacob & Kyle strike again, they always go above and beyond. I am really particular about my edging, and these fellas really took their time and made sure all my edges were as perfect as the lawn. The lawn looks like a fresh line-up. They took big lakes to 5/5. I want Jacob and Kyle to do my lawn every week. I might even have them cut it twice a week sometimes.

Joshua cuts our lawn and it’s always 10/10. Not to mention he takes the extra time to pick up any remaining dog toys before he cuts it. He was out today and we had a little chat, great customer service and a super nice guy. These kind of people are rare in today’s workforce. We appreciate you, Joshua!

My husband and I recently had a major landscaping cleanup project done by Big Lakes Lawn Care, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The Martin Brothers were incredibly productive, efficient, and hardworking from start to finish. Our yard was a mess — overgrown and neglected by the previous owners — and honestly looked awful.

By the time they were done, it was a complete transformation. We even discovered stone pavers along the side of the house leading up to the deck that we didn’t even know were there! The difference is like night and day — it hardly looks like the same house.

The quality of their work is fantastic, and we highly recommend Big Lakes Lawn Care to anyone needing landscaping services. You won’t be disappointed!

Jacob and Kyle have done an outstanding job with my lawn. They're really open to communication and they take care of the details. This is the first year I've used Big Lakes Lawncare for my weekly lawn service, and because of Jacob and Kyle I'll be using them again next year if I still choose to hire out the work. I was unhappy with my former lawn service and learned Big Lakes Lawncare has been a gracious sponsor for our local domestic violence shelter/resource center, Turning Point. That plus good reviews made the switch an easy decision. I first spoke with Keaton who was friendly, informative and a wealth of knowledge with answers to my questions. He very quickly got my service setup. First lawn service was completed today. There was one minor area of concern I called about and within an hour or so Kyle and Jacob were back out to address it. It was their first time on this job and they were learning the property lines, so no fault of their own. (I probably should have explained better during my initial call to setup service anyway.) They were super kind, explained they didn't want to cut on the neighbors side of the property without getting permission first, which I totally get. Looking forward to the remainder of this season and hopefully years to come.
