They tried to rip me off to repair a snow blower that I bought just 10 months ago they quoted me $207.00 and then I took it to a auto shop repair I had it don for only $10
Went in to Home Depot to get an estimate on new gutters and downspouts on March 28. They tell me that someone can be out to measure on May 5th, with installation sometime in June. Went to Lowes instead and got an appointment to get measured April 4th and it should be installed by mid-April.
Whatever you do, DON'T order carpet here. Told them we wanted a glue-down on a sunporch, chose the loop carpet, and they sent someone out to measure and charged $35. Oops, turns out they won't warranty the carpet if it's glued, only if you spend another $100 on pad. And Oops! The installer won't warranty their work either unless we let them pull off the (freshly painted) molding! Like you can't install carpet against molding. And did they mention the $35 was non-refundable? Course not. So basically, they do such crappy work nobody wants to warranty anything. Stay away.
I don't love home Depot. I needed some fencing, and didn't really know what I needed to properly install it. One of Home Depots employee's...Joshua was extremely helpful. I appreciated his knowledge and very personable and professional attitude. Thank you Joshua (Joshua O I think it is)
