Reviews of local pros in Marne, Michigan

Tim, Dan, Carlos, and Skyler were prompt, communicative, respectful, and cleaned up the tree debris well! Will definitely give them a call the next time I need trees trimmed.

We’ve used Wise Owl twice. They do phenomenal work at a fair price. Our last crew, Nico, Dan, and Bailey worked fast and addressed any concerns I had. They cleaned up thoroughly and left me (in tidy piles) the chip, and logs, because we wanted them. I appreciate this company. Don’t hesitate to use them.

Tim was able to work within my insurance payout budget and gave me options to get the job done. Dan and Carlos were friendly and professional. Dan even took down a few dangerous suspended limbs on nearby trees at no cost to keep my family safe. Nicely stacked and organized into manageable pieces. Thanks so much! You will be seeing me again!

5 trees came out, a couple threatening our house and barn. All done professionally with friendly, cooperative workers. Great advice on saving the ones we still have. Our second time using Wise Owl and not our last.

We have very large old oak trees that overhang our driveway and home. We called Tim with Wise Owl and he came out and provided a quote and also his suggestions. Tim explained we had to wait until the trees were dormant to trim otherwise risk disease. The guys (John and CJ) that came out did an awesome job. Very glad we hired Wise Owl.

After three in-person estimates, I could tell Wise Owl knew what they were talking about. They coordinated with Consumers Energy to have our power turned off due to the proximity of our electrical connection. On a rainy morning they showed up promptly, professionally, and ready to roll on cutting down our tree. Their crew was extremely cautious in the cutting and removal, and even removed the tree house that was built by the previous owners.

Not pictured is the tree stump grinding, which if you saw it...you would never know a tree had been there for years.

I highly recommend this company for the service they provided me, tree removal and stump grinding. Thanks a lot Wise Owl Tree Company!

Wise Owl did a great job in the entire process, from the original bid to final cleanup. They were professional, paid attention to detail and safety, and were flexible for adjustments during the work day. Dan, Carlos and Skyler were friendly, hard workers.

Highly recommend. Always great to work with.

For this work Ben, Dan and CJ were onsite. Did an amazing job.

Fast service.
Positive pricing.
Excellent cleanup.
Worked with our challenging business schedules.

I want to give a big shoutout to Wise Owl Tree Company for their outstanding service! We had a large oak tree fall on our property on a Sunday, knocking out our cable. They showed up first thing Monday and quickly took care of the tree so we could get Comcast out right away.

Dan, CJ, and Bailey did an amazing job removing the tree and cleaning everything up. I highly recommend Wise Owl Tree Company for any tree work you need done — fast, professional, and reliable!

I used Wise Owl Tree Service recently to trim a damaged honey locust, remove limbs from several other species including white pine, beech and dogwood that were encroaching on my house. The team including Dan Carlos and Nico were outstanding, there were will make Tim G. proud.

Tom

Nico, Bailey and Travis were professional, courteous and so easy to work with! Went above and beyond to keep me informed throughout the day. Will be using Wise Owl for future projects

Quality and scope of work exceeded expectations for the price. Outstanding communication and service start to finish.

Seems like most tree service companies in the area just want to take trees down and grind stumps. Really appreciate that this crew was on board with and qualified to make cuts that promoted health of the trees while mitigating any hazards by removing the unhealthy limbs.

10/10 for the Wise Owl crew.

We had several trees removed this year and our huge white oak was treated and pruned. Eric did a nice work with the fertilization and pest treatment. CJ and Ben really did a great job with pruning and removing dead wood on the huge white oak. We can't wait to see it in full foliage next spring!

I am genuinely thrilled. Ben and Travis did an excellent job removing a large limb from above my garage and another branch hanging over my patio (which is on a steep, graded hill. Not a simple feat). They were kind, professional, punctual (even early), and thorough. They even cleared my sidewalk of leaves just because. Tim, the owner of Wise Owl, is easy to talk to and just plain kind. I had talked to 3 other arborists before Wise Owl and it only felt easy after meeting with Tim. I can't recommend them enough.

I was refereed to Wise Owl to remove a very large tree that was overhanging my roof. I knew it was going to be tricky since it was very close in between the 2 houses. Dan, Nico, CJ and Travis brought in a crane and carefully removed it without a hitch. I would highly recommend.

Big shout out to Landon and Andy from Wise Owl Tree Co. Both worked hard at taking an unwanted tree down in our front yard. They seem very knowledgeable, work very well together and seem to really enjoy their work.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs any tree work done.

Wise Owl was very professional, communicated quickly, and got the job fast! They were very transparent with the costs and assessment of the tree we needed cut which I appreciated. Dan, Carlos, and Nico were our crew and they did a great job removing our damaged tree. Thanks!

Thanks to Tim, Ben, Dan & CJ, we were able to clear up some overgrown trees for our site in downtown Grand Rapids. I've worked with Wise Owl for years, but this job in particular was easy to schedule, the quality was spot on/consistent & there was no evidence of tree work (as in no mess). Plan to bug them again in the Spring for more tree work!

Dan, Carlos, and Bailey, from Wise Owl Tree Company did a great job taking out 2 large pine trees, some scrub trees and shrubs. They were very careful to not damage my flower beds and plants. I was very impressed with their cleanup of all the chopped wood, twigs, and debris.

Most of all I appreciate how they listened to me and any concerns I had, regarding equipment on our cement drive, spraying the scrub tree roots, making sure nothing would damage our home, etc.

Just a great team! My son had previously used Wise Owl and recommended them to me! Glad he did, and I will be recommending them in the future, as well!

Kudos to the Wise Owl team of Tim, Andy and Dan! They were able to bump me up in their schedule and made quick work of cutting down three trees and trimmed another large tree in my backyard. The team was very friendly and did a great job of cleaning up the area so well, you'd hardly know they were there (other than the missing trees!). I would definitely use them again for all my tree needs!

2nd time using Wise Owl to do tree removal. Very professional and communication was outstanding from the PM, Tim Guikema, to the crew Dan, Carlos, Richard and Nico. Stepped in quickly and efficiently! Thank you for the support and great service. Highly recommended
