We are Floral City Tree Service. For the record-we never ever did any service of any kind for the three people that left negative reviews. We have no idea who they are. We have been in business for 66 years. We have done something right all these years to be thriving in our community that many years. We do provide free written estimates. Sometimes in the middle of the busy summer season there is a wait of up to 7 business days for a FREE written estimate. Call us if you have any questions. Thank you

The crew from Davey was top notch! Wade, Dan, & Josh were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, & even went above & beyond in doing some trimming & clean up that wasn’t part of the original quote.

They came out quickly after being called, maybe because they are so overpriced that they didn't want to risk losing a sucker. The men were not just unfriendly, they were borderline rude. The $265.00 bill was for trimming one small, rather low limb from a very accessible tree and clean-up/ haul away of the limb. The limb is still in my front yard a day later. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. As a matter of fact when I mentioned it to anyone they all either laughed or gasped and asked me if I had hit the lottery or something because they are so overpriced.

Davey is an excellent company to work with. Their employees are highly trained, friendly and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. In addition, they do a great job with community outreach. Highly recommended!!

Great company, great pricing! Wow did they make it look easy.. Steve was actually at my neighbors house when I approached him asking about removing a tree, he wrote me up a quote (very cheap btw) and when I called they were out within the next week! Fabulous company, everyone was very nice & helpful to my questions... Definitely recommended!!!!

The receptionist is amazing. I’m sure she fields many complaints. The receptionist 5 stars. That’s were it ends. Yes I’m know there’s rain but cutting down 2 trees & on a sunny day not coming back to finish, not cool. Leaving tree limbs & logs in my neighbors driveway, not cool. My neighbor is suppose to deal with that mess from Wednesday to ?????? today is Friday, no weekend work ???? Hmmmm. We went out bought a chainsaw & finished their job. They were also to cut down a 3rd tree but told them to forget about which I’m sure they don’t care anyway. Took a month to get the quote, then it took 2 months for them to come & partly do the work order. Not waiting another 2 months for completion. My friend encouraged me to leave a review so I did.

I've always had great service from The Davey Tree Expert Co. (formally Floral City Tree Service). They balanced my large birch tree after the storm and sawed up the downed limbs. They took down my dying 30' pine tree safely. I would definitely recommend them.

Davey team arrived on-time and verified with me what there were going to do. I had 3 trees and lots of brush removed from side of creek bed. They cleaned up 25 years of overgrown land and left me a beautiful view from my patio. They took extra care hauling away all debris to front of my house so that I didn’t have anything to cleanup.
The Davey Team members were awesome and I have recommended Davey to my neighbors.

Davey Tree removed a large tree that fell on my house as well as another tree that was connected to it. They used a crane to cut and lift the tree off the house. The skill needed to do this safely was more than I expected. Although they were quick to respond to my needs they did have to tarp the roof for one night. They then tarped it after removal until my contractor can put on a new roof. I could not be more impressed with their service and skills.

The guys from Davey were amazing! They came out on time, they were professional, polite and friendly. They cut and pruned my bushes and shrubs, cleaned up after and even gave me tips on maintaining them. I highly recommend this company and will be calling them again to treat and trim my large tree in my backyard.

Posting this review of behalf of my parents. The Davey Tree Expert Team (they believe names were John and Steve) did an outstanding job removing a large tree that was leaning over the roof of their house as well as some overgrown shrubs. They were impressed that they were able to remove the tree without any damage to surrounding areas and cleaned up the debris afterwards. Thank you for doing an excellent job. They highly recommend this company.

I have them treat two trees out front in the spring. They were too late (last 2 years) for the first application, so they couldn't do all three applications. Last year they did two. This year they never came back to do the 2nd. I'm canceling their service. Feel free to take your chances.

Absolutely the worst tree service ever. They have taken over five weeks of seven or more visits leaving my yard tore up. Their employees are some of the most classless individuals I’ve ever met. While I asked after my yard was tore up and they left on the seventh visit when it would be repaired. A nice younger fella was trying to explain that he was having issues and he would try his hardest to get it resolved. His fellow employee started laughing like a child, saying “oh another beech cry baby.” Then continued to speed off in his personal truck making sure to squeal the tires making a himself look even further classless and a perfect representation of the company. The young man I was speaking with continued to tell me that the guys name was Josh P. He often acts like that on jobs. Worst company ever as I’ve had multiple trees removed over the years from my few homes. I would never call these guys, ever!

It’s been a pleasure working with Renee and JR. They’re both great to work with, very responsive, and always easy to communicate with. I really appreciate our partnership and look forward to continuing to work together.

Awesome job by Davey Tree service Monroe Mi. Had a 50+ year old maple tree they had to climb to get it down. Very safely done. Employees were fantastic, courteous, friendly and respectful of property. Highly recommend

We were in need of an Arborist to give us advice on the health of the trees and guide us as to what needed to be removed and what just needed trimming. JR really took the time to share his knowledge and guide us in the right direction. The price was very reasonable for what we had done and his crew did a very professional job!

Just had the crew out today….excellent,excellent,work! My wife was definitely pleased. And the cleanup was just as good. The crew was very respectful to my wife and property. Definitely will have you guys whenever I need some work done…thank you!
