More Than Plumbing was assigned to me by AHS. The online service request was quick, easy and took an a week for a text to come w my appt date. Arrival 8-4 on a particular day. I texted back to confirm I was able to take the day off short notice but was concerned ab PTO. Next day they texted arrival time 8-12. Yay! I received a text the morning of with a tracker (like Dominos). Connor came in, was professional AND down to earth. Fixed it and explained, showed me each step he took and gave me information in case replacement was needed. Eventually I learned replacement was needed and Connor responded within a couple hours to get the replacement process started. He had already confirmed me of what was and was not covered with replacement. I appreciated that bc expectations are big for a single senior citizen. Looking forward to having hot water and grateful that Connor will be handling the work.

More than plumbing was assigned to us by AHS. Connor was very professional in explaining the problem with our water heater, which needed to be replaced. He was upfront with how much of the work may be out of pocket and was dead on with his estimate. He also arrived to do the replacement and did an excellent job.

We have AHS Warranty they use More Then Plumbing, What a Joke on Both Ends! Please Do Not Waste Your Time or $$$! Said we needed more things to be replaced that insurance company won't pay for coast of $700 come to find out things didn't need to be replaced after they Gave us the run around, don't answers or return calls, took them 18days to finally get ahold of us and said we can't help you!

This company was assigned through my home warranty. They refuse to reschedule at a time that I've requested because they are "rarely in my area." They stood me up for my appointment on 3/13/25. I will take down the review as soon as my service has been completed.

HORRIBLE COMPANY - This contractor was assigned through my home repair warranty (AHS). They are NOT responsive, never called to schedule an appointment, and after several calls from me & my warranty company, 2 men just decided to show up without notice 5 days after ticket was opened. To top this off, the plumber did not fix the root of the problem at all. They were sort of rude and had the nerve to tell me AHS would not cover all of my issues. They then provided a $1000 estimate as if I would really work with them. Not even 30 days later, I had to reopen case because my initial faucet issues returned. To no surprise, they are not responsive,, have yet to callme to set up the appointment and its been over 2 days. My advice is to find another plumber because this one is not professional at all!

Worst worst company to deal with. They lie to you on your face about the appointment. Give client some information and when American home sheild call they make client lool like stupid...told AHS to block them from any future appointment for our house...WORST COMPANY. I have no choice but to give 1 star to post my review.

More Than Plumbing was the business selected by American Home Shield (AHS) to replace our Hot Water Heater when our existing unit broke down. AHS got us an appointment booked with More Than Plumbing within a day of filing our claim. We were initially concerned by the very low Google review, but this is who AHS picked so we had to roll with it. That existing 2.1 star rating is NOT at all representative of our experience. Our transaction was excellent. Frank is the technician who arrived on time exactly within the appointment window, he assessed our situation and gave us all the recommendations/info needed to make an informed decision. The way AHS works - the plumber has to order the new hot water heater that AHS approves, so that's where the delay came into play. Going a week without hot water is no fun, but that's the process so it is what it is. We got an email from AHS within a few days that the new hot water heater arrived to the plumber's shop and we confirmed our install appointment all through the automated AHS messages. Frank and another gentlemen arrived at the early end of the install appointment window, got the old unit removed and the new unit installed within a few hours. They cleaned up the area they worked in superbly and left my basement as neat as when they arrived. Frank made sure we tested all our faucets and got the air out of the water lines & that everything was working perfectly before they wrapped up and left. The new hot water unit was installed very professionally and looks like it too. We had some extra out-of-pocket expenses due to code changes and incorrect piping from the prior hot water heater install that Frank was transparent about. The cost seemed fair for the work completed. Overall - we had a great experience with More Than Plumbing and for the most part AHS as well. I'd highly recommend this business.

Service technician lied about having access to my pipes. And when I showed him that the access was there. He then claimed it was because my body was built differently. He called my insurance company and claimed he didn't have access which is the one thing that they don't cover. I sent pictures proving that there is access. I should not have had to go through this extra mile. If only there was a technician who wanted to do the work. Troy clearly did not want to do the work. It had nothing to do with access. Made me waste a day staying at home. Wish I would have looked at all these terrible reviews online before allowing them to come to my home and waste my time.
