Very professional, timely and exhaustive in his process. The owner was totally upfront and transparent about costs, time and what he could and could not do. The report was extensive and he followed up to make sure that every part was understood and addressed. Really a pleasure to work with. He told us the report would be to us within 48 hours, but he ended up getting us our report the same day! I highly recommend Steve for your home inspection needs.

We recently used Steve for the inspection on our first home, and he far exceeded our expectations. He was thorough, professional, extremely kind, and beyond patient when it came to explaining everything. The inspection report was provided next day (on a weekend) and was very easy to digest/understand. We would recommend Emes Home Inspections to anyone looking for a home in Metro Detroit!

Seriously, I'd give Steve 10/10 for being so professional, thorough, and making things easy, especially with him hand-delivering the radon test to speed things up. If you want a good home inspection, definitely go with Steve.

I have gone on over a dozen home inspections over the past few years as a realtor, and Steve is my favorite home inspector yet. He's thoughtful, thorough, and very knowledgeable. He is also a licensed electrician, so his knowledge of the electrical systems and necessary repairs goes far beyond what I'm used to experiencing with other inspectors. His reports are easy to decipher - I don't feel like I have to dig through every page to get the full story. Everything was just above and beyond.

I will be recommending Steve to everybody! Thank you so much again.

Just had a home inspection completed by Steve a week ago. Steve was thorough, he took his time and explained things and wrote a very detailed report of his findings. He was very professional when I called to ask questions before making the appointment and kept that same professionalism throughout the process. I definitely would recommend him to friends and family.

Our buyer's agent shared Steve at Emes as a potential Home Inspector and his referral could not have been better! Steve was timely, honest and professional. He took the time to point out findings and help us prioritize what was critical and what was more minor. We received a thorough report (labeled with north/south points for ease of reference!) within 24 hours. Pricing was fair. Strongly recommend you check out Emes if you need a home inspection!

Steve is great, he inspected two homes for me and was exceptionally thorough. He was personable, knowledgeable and made the experience as easy as possible for me.

I remodeled the basement, including a beautiful bar area and a kids’ bathroom, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The craftsmanship is outstanding — every detail shows a high level of quality and pride in the work.
