I recommend chuck and his crew to anyone. Chuck came out on a Friday 45 min after I called. He was up in the tree by Tuesday. Very timely, extremely fair priced, and professional. 5 stars around to him and his crew.

Chuck D was the ONLY tree service out of the 5 I called that even responded. Guess the rest just don't need the business. BUT, that actually turned out to be a very good thing for us. Ha! Chuck did a super fantastic job at a reasonable price. No need to even get any other estimate. In years past, my husband would trim the tree himself. Due to cancer, he can no longer do that. Chuck listened to what my husband wanted, threw in suggestions of his own, took his time in the details and now we once again have a beautifully trimmed tree that we just sat on the porch admiring. Chuck showed at our home when he said he was going to be there, did the job he said he was going to do, cleaned up, and treated my husband with dignity and respect. Look no further. Chuck D is the guy to call.

Chuck and his crew did a fantastic job. They were friendly and professional. Dan had to climb both trees and it was super cool to watch! Clean up was great and they stacked all the wood and brush in one spot. I will definitely have them out for future jobs. Highly recommend!!

Chuck and his crew took down our huge tree! There was a swimming pool on each side of the tree as well as a vinyl fence. They were very confident and had no problem cutting it down without damaging anything! The crew was very friendly and did such an amazing job cleaning up! Will definitely use him again in the future and highly recommend him!

I had Chuck's contact info from a small job I had done previously several years ago. This time around, we had a tree and stump to remove, and we needed a pair of mature Bradford Pear trees trimmed. Talking to my neighbors, we rounded up another several jobs including 11 arborvitaes and stumps to remove, a mature weeping cherry and stump and another smaller bush. Overall, 14 removals (including stumps) and two trees to trim.

I thought this would be something we would have to quote and schedule well in advance, but that wasn't the case. I called on a Saturday, the trees were all down on Sunday and the stumps were ground on Monday before 9:00 AM! How could you possibly provide better service than that? I wish all contractors were so punctual. Additionally, the quoted prices were all very fair, and me and my neighbors are very pleased with the work performed.

If you have trees that need trimming or removal, stumps that need to be ground or anything of the sort, you would do well to give Chuck a call. I highly recommend him and appreciate his professionalism, timeliness, fair pricing, hard work and attention to detail.

We needed some shrubs removed, the tree’s trimmed, and lots of cleaning up in our alley. We called Chuck and his crew and he gave us a great price and did a great job. Would recommend it to anyone!!

I called Chuck on Tuesday and he gave me a quote within a few hours. The following day my tree was gone and my yard was cleaned up. Pricing was cheaper than I thought it would be. Chuck's main focus is customer satisfaction! I was happy with the job but still wanted some more trimmed and he was more than happy to come out and remove a few more branches. After the trimming the crew cleaned up the entire yard and it looked like nothing was ever on the ground. Would recommend/refer them without a doubt !

I used Chuck D's about 2 months ago. He was busy, but it still only took a few days for him to get to my house for a non-emergency tree removal which I let him know I wasn't in a rush for it to be done. GREAT price, communicated well, and happy with the outcome! Recommend them! Nice group of hard working guys.

The Chuck D's guys got right back to me letting me know when they could come remove the stump and the cost. They communicated with me the day of letting me know exactly when they'd be here. The guys were very nice, did a great job and made an extra effort to cut the trunk of the tree into manageable pieces for me.

Chuck and his crew did some work for me back in late September. I am in the process of preparing my home for sale and have been very busy, but I decided to write some reviews of the contractors who have helped me the most. The curb appeal of a home for sale is of utmost importance and I am very glad that I selected Chuck D's Tree Service to clean up the overall look of both my front and back yards.

They removed 5 huge, old, stubborn ewe bushes that had grown out of control and were actually blocking a clear view of my house. They also cut down a dying Japanese Acer maple tree in our back yard. I had asked Chuck about trimming back a massive Dutch elm tree in the yard. He advised me on a couple of options and discussed the costs of each. In addition, I needed to trim back two landscaping bushes that had overtaken my deck.

All of this work was discussed in detail when Chuck came out to give me a quote. He was willing to take the time to go over what I wanted and he is an excellent listener. We came to agreement on a plan and a price that I thought was very fair. It was obvious to me that he was dependable, just by the way he quickly responded to my initial call and kept his word on our first meeting to discuss the work and the price.

He kept in touch with me, as he balanced the various jobs he had on his work schedule. If anything changed, or he ran into an emergency, he would contact me to adjust. This type of work is a dynamic, ever-changing environment -- especially when there is storm damage. Chuck and his guys showed up on time, worked professionally, safely, and thoroughly. The crew did a fantastic job, covering everything we discussed. They also cleaned up all brush and logs, leaving the exterior of my home spotless.

I was especially impressed with the job they did trimming back and shaping my huge Dutch elm tree. Not only are all power and phone lines clear of branches now, but the tree actually looks 100 percent better than before. It has a nice symmetry and I now have a clear and open sight line all the way back past my garage. All the low-hanging branches are gone. The yard looks fresh and open again. I think they went beyond the call of duty on that tree, doing a much-better job than I had even envisioned. This work will help us to more easily sell our house now that the front and back yards look great.

Chuck even returned to cut the stumps closer to the ground. He did this on his own, with no additional charge. He knew that I wanted the stumps as close to the ground as possible, but did not want to have them ground out. That said a lot to me, as I knew Chuck took a lot of pride in his work and his word.

I highly recommend Chuck D's Tree Service. If you have any doubts, get quotes from a few competitors and you will see his prices are very fair. But, more importantly, the quality of work and a business owner that keeps his word add to the overall value of working with his team. Thanks Chuck!

The guys just got done trimming/shaping my tree and removed a big stump for me. Guys were very professional and nice. Quick and easy no safety issues. We really appreciate you guys coming out on a 90+ degree day and doing great work. They come highly recommended from me.

Chuck provided me with a free estimate within 24 hours of calling and he and his crew arrived the following day. The job request was for tree trimming and they also cleaned the gutters on the house and garage and offered to clear the leaves from the yard. They even took all of the debris away. The crew was professional and worked with safety equipment. I’m very pleased with the work Chuck and his crew did.

Excellent service and prices through and through. Chuck D is reliable, efficient, and simply the best. We had him trim a bunch of trees, remove and trim some bushes, and do some weed work on my dad's commercial property. We needed 4 trees topped and shaped. Chuck D's Tree Service showed up on time for the appointment for the quote. Price was fair, but when they showed up to do the job, they amazed us on how great they were. They topped and shaped 4 large trees in our yard and cleaned up afterwards. Other than the one tree being 10 feet lower, like we asked for, you would had never known they were in the yard. My brother got in touch with Chuck’s services and they did an excellent job. They came two days after calling which is so rare on Grosse Ile. They were able to take down two giant trees we’ve been concerned about for years but no one else would touch, as well as some bushes. Chuck kept in touch with him throughout the job since he had to be at work. He did a great job cleaning up and everything was done for a great price. Our neighbors were impressed too! Thanks Chuck!

I had two trees near my privacy fence and one near the main power line. I searched for over one week for a qualified tree removal company that had experience, insurance, professional customer service and a reasonable price. My search ended when I came across Chuck Ds tree Service. I called him and the next day his crew came out on time and discussed with me in detail all safety issues, approach, time line, clean up and cost. At the time my brother in law was over my house, Chuck and his crew(Carl and Dozier) had a interesting and enjoyable conversation for more than 30 min. We laugh so hard, that I had to sit down and take break! Chuck's character stands out the most, great since of humor, Honest, Patient and down to earth with a Great Smile! Carl who is the climber has amazing hair and is happily energetic! Last, but not least; Dozier can lift a ton even with slippery shoes on!( seriously, he a strong man with a good since of humor). The crew did an excellent job cutting down the trees even when it started to rain and finished the job as promised. No accidents, or mistakes only great service was provided from start to finish. Chuck D’s removed a dead tree from my front yard today and had the stump grind down so that I can replant. I was happy about their fast response, I contacted them on Tuesday and they were here to do the work on Thursday! They did an excellent job and were very professional. They gave me a good price.
