Exterior Refresh does amazing work! The really went the extra mile and even came back late at night to finish a job that had to be put on pause due to the weather. I used them for multiple services and would recommend them to everyone.

The owner Gabe was very easy to work with and adjusted his quote multiple times as our decisions changed without complaint.

They must be too busy to get quotes out. I had to contact them twice after my info was given to them directly. My hose was left out and I received a note in my mailbox box from the postman that he was unable to deliver my mail because a truck was parked in front of my mailbox.
Since then, I was told a few things about is company.

Poor project management.
Poor execution of project.
$2,000 wasted.
Would not recommend for tree work.

Gabe and his crew do an excellent job designing, being flexible as the project unfolds and, follow through. At the end of the day, that’s the most you can hope for with any company.

requested a quote 7 days ago. Stated they needed my name, phone, and email to send me a quote and has yet to send me anything or respond to any of my messages on Facebook. I get that this is the busy time of year for landscapers, however if you run a business you are making a vow to serve the people of your community. Simply put all they would have had to do is message me, email me, or call me and explain they are too busy to take on more business or even if they didn't want to do the work all they had to do was let me know. I'm a very understanding person and it hurts me to leave a bad review based on response time and not quality of work. During writing this review I got a message back from the company after I explained my situation and feelings about how they ghosted me and this was the person's response "That's for the kind words. I have been working from 6 am to 9 pm Every night. I can't get help because no one wants to work. I have a family that want to see me when I get home and honestly I would like to really look at the job before I give a quote. I don't want to do that any more so thanks have a great day. Take into consideration I asked if he would like to come out and take a look first 7 days ago. If you cannot handle the demands of being a small business owner then do not be in business, because as a client my minimum expectation starts with communication and I will follow up with understanding.

I want to start by saying that I am terribly disappointed with my experience with Exterior Refresh - specifically with Gabe.

Gabe came to my house in the spring of 2020 to discuss a project I had in mind. The project was fairly straightforward - Adding a mulch bed on the side of my house with 10-15 arborvitae trees. Gabe seemed to think it would be a no brainer and I was anxious to get the quote and get it going. While Gabe was here, I also had him turn on the sprinklers and replace some heads. I was happy with the service initially..

Well.. time kept going by and I never got a quote nor did I get call backs. I kept calling.. no answer.. kept texting.. no answer. I decided we would try to get it done in the fall since we were running out of time.

Once fall arrived, I was able to get in touch with Gabe again.. he actually sent me a quote and I was looking forward to them starting. I accepted the quote.

Well... this time, Gabe totally ghosts me. Never shows up to do the job. Never calls and never texts. Just a complete nightmare and I was left scrambling to try to find another contractor..

Fast forward to now, spring 2021, and I am now working with another contractor to get this done. And they are great to work with.. just a complete 180 from working with Gabe at Exterior Refresh.

I wouldn’t use exterior for anything ever again.. I hope no one has to deal with them like I did. Awful.

Gabe is very kind, professional, honest, particular and thorough. His hard work removing 3 large trees —relieved anxiety and left us with a beautiful and clean yard. Will definitely have Gabe do more work for us!

I really enjoyed using these guys for my yard cleanup, and snow plowing. Most recently I have tried to get in touch with them four or five times for a yard clean up and I was told they’d be there that week. They never came. I tried to contact Gabe several times via two different phone numbers and email and I’ve never heard back. My card was charged for previous services so I know they are getting communication from me.

Gabe was polite, friendly, and easy to work with for the removal of a small tree on my property. I was amazed that he was able to schedule for 3 days out, and at a fair price. They came out and handled everything professionally, and quickly. Did a great job cleaning up and have definitely earned my repeat business.

Gabe agreed to do a sprinkler system blowout for a few properties for me. When it came time to do the job he kept stringing me along for a few weeks without replies to messages or phone calls and without completing the job that he agreed to. He left me scrambling to find another service before winter. When I told him not to do the job he still hasn’t replied. No calls, no texts, no emails. Stay away.

I had Exterior Refresh come out and do a full sprinkler system check. Gabe has been great communicating with me regarding appointment timing and estimated costs and has done exactly what he said he would do when he said he would do it. I highly recommend Exterior Refresh! Thank you Gabe and Kelly for the great work!

Outstanding service experience. Gabe showed up right on time for the quote, and provided helpful information about the process. Tree removal was done very quickly and the individuals who did the work were professional.
