Did a great job cutting down a large oak tree that had been struck by lightning by our house. Professional and thorough.

Absolutely amazing team. Brian is very professional. From the first conversation all the way up to after they finished the job. Very reasonable and the team that came to do the job were great!

We used Callender Tree service for the removal of a big maple tree that was blown over and totally uprooted in a recent storm. They came out within a couple of days to remove it and take care of everything. Brian was great and easy to work and schedule with. All of the workers were nice, considerate, helpful, and did a great job.

We are very happy and highly recommend Callendar Tree Service. Brian came quickly to assess the situation and gave us a quote on the spot. This was a difficult tree removal from our lakefront which is 15 feet below street & house level. He and his team completed the job within the timeframe he quoted. They took care to be safe and protect our property. We were not able to be home during the completion of the project. When we returned home we were pleasently surprised with how well they cleaned up. Our neighbors are also very happy and will highly recommend Callendar Tree Service.

I have a lifelong love of trees. For me, the thought of needing to have some removed from my property is one that I certainly take seriously. I wanted to find someone who would do the job carefully, charge a fair price, and give me a complete overview of everything that was needed to complete the project in a way that would leave me quite pleased with the final result.
I am pleased to report that everything I hoped for had been completely achieved by hiring Brian Sakowski and his team from Callender Tree Service to do this project. First, Brian came over to my house to survey the situation, and give me a quote for what needed to be done. Not only would his team remove ten trees, but he also agreed to clear the brush in the area, as part of the overall project quote. My wife and I decided to go ahead and hire them. Later, I realized that we needed to include a couple more trees, and although it did raise the price somewhat, Brian made sure that the total package still was priced fairly.
The work crew was fantastic. They were all very personable, but most importantly, worked efficiently with great precision and skill. All of the trees were taken down in a safe manner, and they cleaned up the area in a way that suited my needs (which included leaving some lumber for future firepit bonfires that I wanted to have).
Finally, I also paid Brian to include having someone come over to grind the tree stumps, since this area is going to be used for a swimming pool, as well as some new grassy area around it. Again, the pricing for this portion of the project was quite fair, and it seemed Brian made sure that I ended up with a deal that had me smiling.
I recommend Callendar Tree Service without hesitation. They were able to schedule the work in a timely manner, and they showed care and respect for my wife and me, making sure that everything was done in the way we wanted it.

Calendar did a fantastic job of removing a very large oak tree that was not accessible to any cranes! The oak tree was over 100 years old and had limbs extending way over 2 adjacent homes! There was only about 15 ft of clearance between our 2 decks! They were able to remove the entire tree without any damage to our properties and their cleanup was outstanding! I HIGHLY recommend Callendar Tree Service! They were very professional and responsive to any of my requests!

Brian did a great job managing communications from the initial estimate through the completion of the work. The team very quickly and efficiently removed two large maple trees from a challenging space. Would use Callender Tree Service again for any future needs.

Update 9/14/2024.
During a bad wind and rainstorm about 2 weeks earlier, we lost a pine tree (blown over with the roots exposed and out of the ground, about 40' tall). We sent Callender a message just after the storm that day, and the next morning they said they'd be over to look at it in the afternoon and give us an estimate. That afternoon they were here, gave the estimate, and even had the crew stop by later in the afternoon and took care of our tree, and even our neighbor, who also lost a maple tree that snapped off at the ground during the same storm. They did a great job; cleaned everything up and were concerned that we were completely satisfied. The crew was polite, careful, and worked quickly. We appreciate the job they did and would look forward to working with them again.

We found Callender Tree Service through a Google search. They had good reviews, as did several other companies. When we called, they made arrangements to look at our project the next morning and got us on their list that day. About two weeks later the crew (John and Branden) arrived ready for work. They removed two trees and trimmed up two other large ones. They did a great job, had a good attitude, and worked right on through the rain to get it all done. The work was very professional, the clean up was thorough and we'd be glad to use them the next time we need to have more work done!

Reasonable pricing, friendly, good attitude, I had a tree that needed to be taken down, it was leaning toward power lines. I was in a hurry to get it done and he was able to get the tree safely to the ground the very next day after the quote!

This was an awesome company to do work for me! I spoke with Brian after we had that bad storm in June and he was able to get the job I needed done in a very timely manner. I should mention that this was a massive tree that had fallen and I needed to have the stump ground out before I could have my fence put back up. Understanding that this was an insurance claim, he was very patient while we waited for the claim to go through. Communication with him was awesome and I would definitely use this company again if a situation were ever to arise.

We had a tall fairly large Cherry tree with a 4 foot split in its trunk as a result of storm damage. Brian responded to our phone call quickly, evaluated the damage, and gave us a competitive quote.
Brian’s crew were here four days later to remove the tree. The crew work as a team. They were efficient, with all three people working through the process. The tree was taken down, branches and leaves collected and ground up, and work site returned to normal.
I would definitely use this service again.

Brian responded to my call at 7 pm on a Sunday after a pine tree crashed into my side deck after yesterday’s severe storm. He advised me on the need to notify my insurer, and promised to stop by today to give me an estimate. When he arrived today, true to his word, he quickly sized up the situation and then said his team could come that afternoon to address the tree to prevent further damage to the deck. His team came, again as he promised, and did an exemplary job. They decided on the best way to move the tree and took special care in using their equipment on my very soft lawn. They got the tree down and removed to their truck to avoid leaving wood chips and broken branches on the lawn. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Brian and the Callender Tree Service team and I highly recommend them if you need to have your trees either serviced or removed.
