I really appreciate Nelson Bros. coming out so quickly. I had a horrible chemical smell coming in through the laundry tub. I honestly was freaking out when I called. Danielle was amazing and was able to have Jonathan come out really quickly. He was super efficient and finally found the source. While it's not what wanted to hear, he explained his operation manager would reach out with a plan of action. This company did a huge sewer job in my backyard about 4 years ago. Everything turned out great. Would highly recommend this company. Great experience all round from the first call to the plumber onsite.

Rick was most helpful and did a thorough review of my sump pump system setup as well as a complete walk around of the exterior of the home. While my issue is not yet solved, Rick suggested 2-3 ideas to improve my water situation and/or perhaps even correct the problem. I would recommend Nelson Bros. For your plumbing needs. Company was okay … they came out 3 times . I told them to do testing the first time. The techs said they couldn’t justify it bc it just smelled musty and that’s normal for a basement. So I paid 2 hour fees for nothing. The 3rd time the techs admitted there’s an issue and finally did tests (to me it smelled the same as the other 2 times they came out)

They noticed a leaking pipe in my crawl space
, didn’t discount me or anything for the 2 hours of wasted time/ fees.

They then never called me back to give me an explanation of what happened to the pipe for my insurance company . I would give them a C overall based on this experience .

This company came highly recommended and was just okay in my opinion. I would try them again but if they don’t perform better next time I wouldn’t use them for anything anymore

The team at Nelson Brothers were great. From the scheduler this morning to our plumber Bob, everyone was kind, professional, and on time. Couldn’t ask for better service. I will use Nelson Brothers for all my future plumbing needs.

Johnathon came to the house to find out why we didn’t have water in some faucets. He was professional, very efficient, found the problem , fixed it immediately also installed a toilet. The bill was very very reasonable. I highly recommend Nelson Bros.

Cain was very thorough and did everything he could to try and repair our old hot water heater. Unfortunately it will need to be replaced and we are glad will be able to accommodate us first thing Monday morning.

I highly recommend Nelson Brothers Plumbing. I had a backup in my kitchen sink and knew the pipes under the kitchen sink had to be replaced. Bob Main was dispatched to take care of the problem. Bob was both knowledgeable and efficient. In less than 1 hour my kitchen was back in full service. I feel the price I paid for quality work was fair, and I will definitely use Nelson Brothers Plumbing if I have plumbing or sewer issues in the future

Everything was fantastic from making the appointment, staying informed with appointment updates and reminders to completing the work. Johnathan, the plumber, showed up on time as scheduled, efficiently completed the work and was professional throughout the whole time here. The price was reasonable and I will definitely use Nelson Brothers for any future work as well as recommend them to others.

This was my first time using Nelson Brothers - for a personal issue. I use them all the time at our office. They’re best best in the business.

Jesse and Trevor were both awesome. They were able to address the issue and get the replacement parts quickly. They even gave my dog some attention while we discussing fixes and on their way out. 10/10 would recommend.

Great service, problem assessment, and follow up.

The only suggestion I would make is that for very simple fixes that require little time to correct there be a revised billing schedule that is reasonable and fair. My example is that I recently had a service call regarding my kitchen faucet that took 7 minutes to fix. Unfortunately I had to pay $150 which is the minimum 1 hour charge mandated by the company. My feeling is that for simple jobs there must be some revised billing alternative that makes the Customer feel good but preserves the profit margins for the Company. Maybe a different billing approach for long time repeat Customers.

They are the first company I call when I need plumbing work or have plumbing issues.
They do an excellent job to clear my drain lines and sewer line of tree roots, replacing my sewer stack and installing plumbing for new fixtures.
Nelson brothers rates are reasonable and they are very responsive.

Brendan on-time, directed and cleared the sewer line within an hour. He suggested follow-up services to avoid future issues and also suggested services to avoid due to age of the line. While he worked the snake the other gentleman (sorry, forgot his name) cleaned the area around the drain so they wouldn’t track any mess around and to leave me with a much lighter clean-up after they left. And the invoice shocked me because I was expecting something much worse. All around great work. Thanks guys!

Brendan and Cain did an outstanding job. Accomplished two different issues, indoors and out. Very conscious of protecting our carpeting when going in and out. When refrigeration repair guys, who happened to also be here at the time, discovered a problem, they actually were able to step in and repair the unplanned plumbing part of the problem. It was such a bonus for us. Conscientious and hard working. Would highly recommend.

Had a technician come out and give us a quote of 1-2 hours, said it would be a very quick and easy job. The job ended up taking 5 hours and they never applied the cost of the initial quote to the completed job, which they said they would do when they gave us the quote. We were also charged 3 times for a "minimum plumbing rate" on top of the "hourly plumbing rate". We reached out to Rick to try to get clarity and come to a resolution but after playing phone tag for over 2 months felt we were left no option but to leave a review in the hopes that that this hopefully doesn't happen to anyone else. The only positive of this experience was that the plumber did an excellent job.

From the first call through the entire service completion, Brandon was A1 fantastic. One of the most personable technicians I have seen come through in my twenty years of home ownership in Royal Oak.

I will always call Nelson Bros from here on out!

Thanks to the team but especially, Brandon because my random basement toilet that never was used in 20 years is now up and running!

Trevor Carey was great - I needed a reverse osmosis system installed underneath my kitchen sink and my kitchen sink is very small. The cold water line was right up against the corner wall and there was no room to attach a splitter, he custom welded a 90° angle pipe and now there’s more than enough room under my sink to plug my reverse osmosis water system into. He also showed me where the full house water shut offs are. This was very valuable information. Very knowledgeable on time and great experience will definitely be calling again for service.

Jonathan (with Nelson Bros. Plumbing) did a very competent and aesthetically pleasing job under difficult conditions. There were complications (like sawing through the plaster wall to replace a three-foot long pipe) and he did a great job of problem-solving. Everything looks good and works fine. Thanks, Jonathan!
