I recently moved into a newly built house and the yard was all rocks and weeds. I hired Preferred Landscape to take up the rocks and seed the lawn and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Mitch Kiel was easy to contact and communicated updates of the job promptly.

The field team that did the work was amazing and very hardworking. Their team was very respectful of our property and did an amazing job building a retaining wall. I would highly recommend them for your next big project that you may not want to do alone.

The work they did installing our lawn and down spouts was and is very disappointing. They were a couple thousand dollars less than the other quotes I got from other landscaping companies and I see why. They did a good job grading our yard at least. The water flow went were it should but that's almost I can say good about the job. First the brought in awful "top soil". I have a clay yard, hence the top soil and they brought in more clay top soil. The "top soil" was filled with huge rocks which I am still picking out 4 months later. They damaged my house, which happens, but 4 months later it still is not fixed properly, they claim the siding company won't get back with them. When they put the "top soil " down they decided it was ok to bury thier trash. I am still picking pieces of cut off down spout out of my yard. The last piece was two feet long bury by my sidewalk. They also buried one of the down spouts access points. I was told they would come back and take care of it, but they didn't show and I had to call again. So a week or so later they finally came back and they said it got buried. They left a pile of garbage they used sitting on my back deck. Since it was a new construction there was pieces of pavement in the yard so they buried them, which are now exposed, or they pushed them into my neighbor's yard, which I had to take care of. Oh, and after 4 months I have down spouts showing because they did not bury them deep enough. So, four months later, my yard looks awful and house is not fix properly but at least the water flows away from my house instead of to my house.

We never had a discussion about the neighbors contractor leaving trash. We did discuss the one piece of 2 x 4 that was left, that is it. The neighbors are not the ones that left trash on my back porch. They did not leave the cut up pieces of down spout in the yard and instead of pick up the trash, they didn't not bury it, you guys did. They are not the ones that did not put enough top soil down so now the down spouts are exposed. My house was fixed though the day after I put the original review in, so thank.

Tyler was wonderful to work with through the quoting process! We ended up going a different direction, and he couldn’t have been more gracious. Professional and attentive to all of our questions.

Preferred Landscaping was absolutely wonderful to work with. The communication from project planning to project completion was great! Their attention to detail was amazing! I would highly recommend this company! Mitch is a pleasure to work with!!

I overall did not have a good experience. The work was bad and when they cut my main line in my irrigation I was unimpressed. I let them know as there was a small pond in my yard and my water bill was x3 for three months. I let them know and they sent their irrigation guy who said he is not capable of fixing the issue, so I had to call my irrigation company. They fixed it and billed me and I told Preferred landscaping. They ignored my emails for a while until they said it was not their fault because they have highly trained employees who looked like they may be the age of 18. They have not gotten back to me after multiple attempts and denied it’s their fault which I am not sure what else it could be since they cut to build a wall right where the leak was. Poor customer service and they do not own up to their faults. So not only did I pay for poor landscaping services, they did not reimburse me at all of my water bills of 300 or the 2k bill from my irrigation company. Plus overall they laid seed for grass and it was an extremely poor job and our grass look horrible compared to neighbors who had their seed laid around a similar time. They just happened to lay seed a weekend before a rain storm and said that is not their fault even though if they have been in business they should know not to schedule a seed lay right before a huge rain storm. I am super unhappy with all aspects of the work they did and would NEVER recommend.

I have used Preferred Landscaping several times for projects at the agency I work for and also for family projects, great company, professional everything is always done correctly. The first time I had to call them for some emergency situations and they were there right away and took care of the issue, highly recommend them

Great hardworking team!!! Installed two retaining walls and provide weekly mowing services! Easy to work with everyone, on time with projects and very professional. They are very patient to work with especially with all my questions during retaining wall project:)

Way into the season. Preferred came out gave me an estimate and even mowed the lawn that same week! They mow, clean up the grass… very efficiently. The men providing the service were very nice, and courteous. I am hiring them back again this season.

Called Preferred after my other landscaping service fell through for the summer. The team at Preferred was able to give me a fast quote and fit me into their lawn maintenance schedule the next week. Lawncare has been high quality, and the staff is efficient and professional.

We had a great experience with Preferred Landscaping. Tyler and his team are professional and knowledgeable. Tyler worked with us to decide what kind of layout would make the most sense for our needs. This project probably would have taken us several weekends (and been exhausting). They knocked it out in less than a day. Well worth it!

Tyler makes plenty of excuses for himself and his little empty office.

He fills it with a bunch of useless stuff for his ever increasing impatience.

But at the end of the day. Your business acumen is “Milktoast at best”.

I’ve been extremely satisfied with the service from this lawn care company. They are professional, reliable, and always get the job done in a timely manner. My yard looks fantastic every time they come by. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and the results speak for themselves. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality lawn care!

Preferred did a fantastic job on replacing our old rotting wood retaining walls with beautiful brick walls. Special thanks to Jake and Zeke who had great ideas and pulled the whole thing together, better than we even envisioned it.

We couldn't be more impressed with the work Preffered did for us. They installed a brand new paver patio for us that looks INCREDIBLE! The crew was efficient getting in and out in 1 days time. They stopped by a few days after to make sure to add some more grass seed around the work area and new retaining to ensure it the yard was back to the way it was prior to work being completed. Overall, extremely pleased with the end result, the efficiency from the team from beginning to end and the presentation the new retaining wall brings to our house.
