Tree reviews in Saugatuck, Michigan

A Cut Above have done work for me three times in as many years. These gentlemen do a fantastic job, punctual, very professional at a extremely reasonable price. I cannot believe anyone would give them less than a 5 star rating. These are my go to guys for all tree services needed.

We have a cottage on an island with five huge oak trees that needed to be taken down due to oak wilt disease. The Cut Above team did an outstanding professional job of bringing down the trees with no damage to the surrounding home, and then moved the huge trunk pieces to the wooded area surrounding the property. Highly recommended!

I can totally recommend “ A Cut Above Tree Care” each time they have worked on my trees the results have been 1st class, prompt arrival and meticulous clean up. Carlos ensured a successful outcome by reviewing before and after the work was completed

This company was very professional with me. They were able to do a quote the same day I called. I expressed my concern with a tree that was leaning over the house and they scheduled the service the same week. The crew of 3 people arrived within an hour of the proposed time (I have had other companies not even show the same day they scheduled it for!) they scheduled. They did the job and clean up as previously discussed. I wish all contractors worked like these guys! I would highly recommend calling them for your tree needs!

We have used A Cut Above twice. The first time, about a month ago, they removed 7 trees, trimmed 2 and ground the stumps. They did an incredible job for us at a very reasonable rate. It started raining while they were here and they kept on working... they did a great clean up afterwards. It was because they did such a great job for us that we had them do another job for us yesterday. They removed 15 trees. This service works their butts off! My wife and I highly recommend them.

Had some estimates for a dead ash tree. They were on the low end. Saw they where a very small family based company and had to say yes. Very happy with my choice. Good hard working people and they did the job how I expected it to be done. Very appreciative of the business too. Some say the "younger lady is rude" she isn't. I met her....she is just to the point. They got to me earlier than scheduled. Remember they do work that sometimes takes longer than anticipated and are small so don't expect 24hr, 7 days a week service. So long story short....if you want to help a local small company and just want a tree removed, They are a good choice. Will use them again if I need to!

Outstanding service and most cost effective of the bids we received. Excellent workmanship and attention to detail. We appreciated the friendly staff and excellent communication. We will continue to use their service as the need arises.

I cannot recommend A Cut Above Tree Care enough. Their team of Veronica, Carlos, Fermean, and Saul were prompt, courteous, and incredibly skilled taking down a large tree and other cleanup that was needed. I’ve worked with various tree services in the past, this group has been the best. A Cut Above will be my first call for any future tree services. Thank you!

I can't say enough positive things about the crew at A Cut Above. Other tree service companies wouldn't even return calls for estimates. A Cut Above was responsive and professional. The crew took down an extremely tall maple tree leaning towards our house. They quickly and safely removed the tree and debris and ground down the stump so deep that I can plant a replacement tree on the same spot. I highly recommend this crew for jobs big and small in the west Michigan area and I look forward to working with them again on our next project.

What a fabulous job the guys did taking down a tree in our backyard! The area was very tricky to navigate the equipment for the tree removal. They were so skilled in all areas from start to finish. We watched a lot of the process which was amazing. We recommend them for tree removal 100%.

They did an excellent job! Cut down and removed a large tree and stump grind. They were very quick and cleaned up everything nicely.

Great experience all the way through the process. Prompt service. Very reasonable prices. Great crew. I would highly recommend!

Cut Above did a great job removing a tree and grinding the stump. Afterwards they cleaned up and left our yard looking nice. Thank you, Cut above, for your professionalism, hard work and excellent pricing!

It’s not every day you find a company that delivers great value, exceptional service, and professionalism all in one – but this company did. Veronica and Saul came out to our property in Saugatuck and gave us a very reasonable quote – no hidden fees, just honest, straightforward pricing. Our large tree was in a most difficult spot!
The crew was respectful, professional, punctual and incredibly experienced and organized. We could see that they ran their team safely and efficiently. Also, we would like to add, they did a fantastic job with the cleanup – not a branch was left behind.
We highly recommend A Cut Above Tree Care.

We had a 90’ tree fall onto our cottage during a storm and the Cut Above team were rock stars from start to finish! Veronica and Saul came out to assess the situation (our cottage is 40’ above the street on a sand dune- the tree broke onto and even behind the roof). They said it would be “manageable” with their crane and quoted us an extremely fair price. They came back that evening with the crane, a chipper, and a crew that completed what we feared would be a huge job in just an hour and a half! They took away every scrap, branch and wood chip and even swept the street. We’d use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them!
