Brooks Electric was knowledgeable, efficient, quick to respond, was personable, and very reasonable rates. I called with an urgent matter and he was at the home within 2 hours.i would greatly recommend.

These folks...
My power went out in late December because a tree fell. The power company was unhelpful, so I had to figure it out myself. Due to many storm-related issues in the area, I had to call multiple electricians to find one who could restore my power in a reasonable timeframe. Most companies, Brooks Electric among them, either said they would do their best to address it at some point, or simply could not. The day before the fix, Brooks initially said they would be out, but later postponed until the following day. Around noon the following day, I received communication from them. They were at my home, and apparently another company had already come out that morning and fixed the issue. Somebody beat them to it 🤷

So what did they do? Tried to bill me $200. At no time did I agree, verbally or otherwise, to any charges. My power was out for a full week, while my children were visiting, and I had to spend a good deal of the time driving back and forth from Grand Rapids to see if anything had actually been fixed. So now they're sending me monthly bills, with late fees. Good business practice...just bill people indiscriminately. I guess either they pay, or you can write it off as a loss. I'll tell you one thing: I regularly check my credit report, and this would be the first late payment / collection on my record. YOU WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH THIS. Also, I'm having some more electrical work done this spring...guess who I won't be calling.

Greg and Randy did a great job! It was the evening and was supposed to be a quick fix which it wasn't at all. They took the time and figured it out until the job was done right. They will be my first call for any other electrical issues.

They were Great! We were lucky they had a vast selection of breakers. Our main breaker is replaced already and power is back on.

Had an issue with the breaker panel in our business. Called them up and they arrived onsite with in an hour. The changed out two breakers and tightened everything else up. Reasonable rates and we were satisfied with their service.

Strongly recommend! The circuit breaker on our A/C was shorting out. Amy and Troy were extremely responsive and fixed it quickly at a very reasonable cost. We are so happy to find an electrician that we can trust.

The folks at Brooks were super fast! We had a hot-tub installed and they knew exactly what needed to be done, including punching hole through brickwork, digging trenches and putting everything back together when complete. They also were super busy, yet took the time to get this work done for us. I'll use in the future for any and all electric work, super great folks.

Everything about my experience with them was super positive. Very responsive when I 1st called about our project and then fit us into their schedule very quickly when we were all ready to go. I am very satisfied with the entire experience.

Out of 6 electricians I called, these folks were the only ones able to come out the day of my power outage. Greg and Matt were very professional and courteous. They explained what they were doing and why. Definitely recommended!
