Plumbing reviews in Sterling Heights, Michigan

1000% recommend John went above + beyond the scope of the job he was hired for and informed me of problems that I wasn’t aware of.

Showed up after hours on my schedule. On time. I experienced a problem with the water heater I had purchased, and he waited while I went to exchange it, then knocked out the job in good time. Down to earth, hard working man.

I typically don't post BAD reviews, but I felt it is important to warn consumers about vendors who take advantage of them.
This provider, John Pickett, of John's Plumbing Heating & More took critical advantage of us during an emergency kitchen sink clog. It was a Saturday evening and I had just brought my terminally ill husband home from the hospital earlier in the day. The kitchen sink backed up and I was overwhelmed! John and his assistant came out and charged me an $425 to snake the drain in the kitchen!! He did not provide an estimate before hand and his assistant broke a treasured family heirloom in the basement, which I didn't discover until days later! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

John’s Plumbing came to help us with a back up in our basement drain and toilet. They graciously came out ahead of schedule on a Sunday. We used a Big Name plumber company a few weeks prior costing us $400- for maybe 15 mins of work, only to be told that the Big Name plumber had to come back to use a hydro jet for an additional $1200 to clear our line of roots.

John’s Plumbing came out after them this weekend- John and his team worked for about two hours and got our line cleared. They worked very hard and spoke honestly about what we needed to do moving forward to maintain our homes plumbing. We fully trust John’s expertise and we will use John’s Plumbing in a heartbeat if needed. I highly recommend and support John’s Plumbing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A-fordable Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc. staff from scheduling an appointment for a free quote to scheduling an appointment for gas line services were very professional. Their prices were affordable compared to other plumbing companies I contacted. They were on time and finished the job in a timely manner. Their work was excellent and they cleaned up after the job was complete. I would definitely use their company again and recommend anyone needing the type of services A-Fordable Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc. provides.

Team does great work but get multiple quotes as the company is typically working at a 300%+ mark up. They replaced some old steel piping which was great. then quoted me $550 for a tub drain replacement. I did as usually do and checked out how to complete on YouTube and it cost me $20 and 15min of my time and I have no issue with the drain today. Again people are great and I recommend this company for larger jobs but make sure to get at least 3 quotes and do the smaller work yourself for the reasons noted...Very expensive.

They were punctual, figured out the issue immediately, cleaned up well and did an excellent job.

Response time is great! Their work is thorough and efficient.

I have been using A Fordable for a number of years in my property management business. Always great service, punctual and prepared to solve the problem. Highly recommend for you plumbing needs.

I have used A-fordable Plumbing for many years for a variety of services (sump pumps, garbage disposal installations, toilet issues, replacing faucets, etc). The techs are always knowledgeable and friendly. They do a great job at explaining things to me. Denise, who often answers the phone, is so helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience. Timely, fairly priced. Worker came in and replaced toilet. Ran into additional issues with the flooring that needed to be addressed. He did a wonderful job to this and getting what needed to be done. Would recommend this company.

A-Fordable Plumbing & Mechanical came out to our shop and moved a gas line for us and did an amazing job. We've work with A-Fordable Plumbing & Mechanical for many many years and highly recommend them for any plumbing related need you may have.

A-fordable plb was referred to me by Kohler as a certified contractor. Dave & Will were great. They fixed the issue caused by the previous plumber. I will use them for my next plumbing project. On time and professional.

Excellent to work with. I do not generally let plumbers in my house, but I have high trust and confidence in A-Fordable Plumbing. They have performed about 3 jobs ranging in size from a simple toilet flange to a bathtub install to moving an entire sewer line. I have been satisfied with the result on each occasion.

Taylor's service was excellent! He is professional and knowledgeable.

My second time using Affordable Plumbing. Once Again, a great experience. Mike was professional and fixed all my plumbing issues. Also, this is the best price plumbing I’ve ever worked with. I’m sold. I will always use them.

We had water tank replacement. Owner Mike was very prompt and helpful. We were given upfront estimate. No hidden extra charges.
Dave and Alberto who came to install the water heater did an awesome job and very pleasant to deal with.

Dangerous speed and lane changes by company vehicle on interstate. You are going to hurt someone by driving so recklessly.

We called this company after being no showed twice by another plumber. The A-Fordable tech was able to come out the very next day and solved our issue at a very reasonable rate. We will be using A-Fordable again whenever the occasion arises. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good plumber!

They were absolutely fantastic and thorough! If there was an issue or change in the estimate they walked me through it all. Dave and Will were courteous and professional.

The person I spoke to was very helpful. I was able to get appointment quickly. The serviceman was friendly, quick and stopped my bathtub faucet drip! I have used Affordable Plumbing for years, they have been fantastic. Highly recommended.
