I set up an appointment with Jessica for Mike to come to my home and give me a quote for a patio job. He never showed up, never emailed or called.
My husband stayed home from work for this appointment. 😡

EDIT: Jessica called me 4 hours after the appointment to apologize for Mike “being pulled in a dozen different directions” and therefore missing our appointment. She also told me that this happens “once a season”. She wanted to reschedule. I told her that since I had been blown off by Mike, I would be seeking other companies for our patio job.

Great company! After reading the online reviews I signed up for snow services. I never had to call, never had to worry they would not show up. They did a great job. Billing was accurate and timely and services are priced fairly. Thank you!

I had the trimming of two shrubs and the removal of a mulberry tree quoted on site at my home and in person. When they arrived to do the work, it was a bait and switch. They said they couldn't remove the Mulberry tree but would remove a small weed tree instead. They then said they would follow-up with another quote on the Mulberry Tree. They never did. I am only giving them 2 stars because the trimming was decent, but I would not recommend them.

Belbot did such a good and reliable job doing our lawn for the past two years we decided to try them on a paver/walkway project.

They showed up when they said they would be here, removed old pavers and created a new walkway in our backyard near my deck and driveway. My wife summed it up as "beautiful".

The guys were polite, cleaned up each day and did the work at a far lower cost than the other company called for a price.

All of our paperwork, bids, billing and office contacts have been professional, accurate and timely.

We had Belbot provide our fall cleanup and disposal of leaves. They were here on the date they provided and did a great job of cleanup and removal of our leaves!

Continues to cut the lawn at 7 or 8am despite numerous neighbors at the apartments calling about the noise. There are mufflers for all the equipment they use for $100 online. All they'd have to do is install a simple piece of equipment.

I had Belbot Services complete a porch / walkway / driveway job at my house. The did a fantastic job that my family is very pleased with...far exceeding our expectations!! We recently used Belbot landscaping services to clean up and replant 2 berm areas in our yard. They were very careful bringing in their equipment and did a thorough job of removing the old plant material and replanting just the way we wanted it to look. They fulfilled all the expectations on their quote and even worked with us on some extra work that we wanted to add. the workers were very polite and listened to what we wanted, and they took great care to put all the mulch around my existing plants without damaging anything that was coming up. The whole yard looks beautiful and the final cost even came in at a lower price than we expected. I am scheduling them to do some additional work and will stick with Belbot for all our landscaping and maintenance needs!

We have used Belbot for years spring and fall cleanup, and edging and mowing all summer They are the best. Friendly crew and they do a very good job.

My wife and I have been Belbot clients for several years. Our fall visit required cutting down many species of flowers and bushes and was followed with a thorough cleanup of the cuttings and a substantial accumulation of leaves that Belbot scheduled and completed one day ahead of our city's leaf pickup. We are very satisfied.

I’ve been with Belbot Services for three years. They’re always been reliable and on time and my lawn looks great when they’re done. Communication is excellent. Melissa keeps us updated well in advance if there may be a rainout or schedule change. Definitely would recommend them.

They're fine. Price makes up for the shoddy rush job (although the add on cost for things like edging make it barely worth it). They've destroyed plants, taken bark off my tree, chunked grass down to dirt- when I brought this up to the company they didn't respond. Customer service needs work, quality of cut needs work.

Belbot Services has plowed our snow for the past two years. They are the first company to actually listen to our requests - then do what we asked. So we were comfortable signing a landscape contract with them this year and we have not been disappointed. Besides the good quality of their work and helpful notifications, most notable is how polite all the employees are.

My condo complex has just contracted with Belbot to do our landscaping. We have small lawns and park our cars close to the lawn. When at our complex to do the lawns this week one of their crew members was using a trimmer that had no guard / shield on it. He uses that trimmer on my front and back lawn extensively as they can't ride their big mowers over the entire area. I never left my home that day as I am disabled and the little work I do is done from home. I went out to my car to go to the grocery store after they left and discovered the driver's side window of my car was shattered. That side of my car faced my front lawn where their crew member was using a trimmer without a shield to mow and trim my lawn.

I sent Belbot photos of their crew member using a trimmer without a shield on it. Using a trimmer or mower without a shield is the main way rocks get flung out when using them and damage glass or other objects nearby. I sent Belbot photos of my car that are date & time stamped a few hours before their crew arrived that shows my window was intact before they arrived. The Belbot employee I spoke with told me they usually get claims for damaged storm doors vs. car windows.

Despite lawn service companies like Belbot having liability insurance to cover damages to client's property for these type of events,
they refuse to take responsibility for this. Apparently they are requiring that I have conclusive proof such as video footage depicting the actual moment their crew member's unguarded trimmer shot a rock into my car window like a bullet. Who has that? My camera is triggered by motion so a rock shot like a bullet into my window wouldn't trigger the camera if their employee was not in the motion detection zone. The security camera inside my home wouldn't be able to pick that up clearly and doesn't capture the entire yard.

I've learned that it is common for respectable lawn service companies to take responsibility when they break windows, without requiring video capturing the entire event including moment of impact. They know this happens! It is part of doing their business to have rocks fling out from their high powered mowers and trimmers, especially if they don't use shields / guards to block the debris.

Belbot is forcing me to have to make claim on my auto insurance to cover the damage, causing me to have to pay a deductible, lose my claims-free discount, and have a claim on my record for the next few years. Nice way to treat a disabled client.

What are the odds that my car side window was inexplicably hit by some unexplainable cause while parked in front of my condo - hit so hard that the window shattered - happened on the day their crew was here trimming the lawn right next to my car without using a trimmer shield / guard - a shield that exists specifically to prevent debris from flinging out and damaging nearby objects - yet they insist it wasn't done by them.

Two days after I informed them of what happened and they refused to take responsibility and make the claim on THEIR insurance, they sent a crew out to our complex to put down mulch. This time their crew member had a trimmer with the shield / guard attached, as it should be. My hair salon in Royal Oak just had one of their windows shattered by a trimmer from their lawn service, but unlike Belbot their lawn service is taking responsibility for it.

Belbot Services is a reliable lawn service company that we have used for the last year. Their professional staff work quickly and efficiently to do a quality job on our lawn. They take into consideration our plantings and shrubs when operating their equipment.

Belbot (including the staff) was a great company to work with. The communication was on point and consistent throughout the project. I had my backyard transformed with new concrete and landscaping throughout. From the front office to the grounds crew, everyone was friendly, helpful, and caring. I appreciate the transparency that they provided during the project as well as the follow-up visit(s) post project completion. Overall, a great company with a strong and knowledgeable staff. Would recommend!
