Called them to complete a plumbing job. I had to wait a week for an appointment. When the guy got there, all he did was give me an estimate and tell me that he didn’t have enough time that day.

Way too expensive and not a thing was done about my problem. 30 minute "diagnostic" work cost $200. Unit still not working. Birmingham prices, alright. Service man, John, I believe is his name, said it can't be repaired but conveniently tells me to replace my disposal was over $5,000. Really? Simple I guess. By the way, not one tool was used to work on my commercial grade disposal when he was here. How can you diagnose a problem by just siting and looking at it? Blamed it on something else that made no sense at all.
I certainly could not suggest using them for anything else they claim they work on. Disappointed to say the least. Ripped off, for sure. Doesn't deserve the 1 star either.

My basement flooded and I desperately needed help after storm water was seeping up through a floor drain overnight. When I called Birmingham Plumbing Company (BPC), I spoke to an employee of the company and not an answering service, which was a great first start. They were able to get someone to my house first thing and I got a text with the name, picture, and short bio of the plumber coming on-site.

Jesse got there and was the most personable and determined professional I've met. He had to try several different methods and many tools to clear the obstruction, but he wasn't going to stop until the blockage was gone. They were reasonably priced and were not there to scam you like the roto-rip off guys will.

When you need someone that you know you can trust to do the right job, has your best interest in mind, and does a quality job, call these guys!

I have used Birmingham Plumbing for all of my needs for the past 7 years. They always go above and beyond my expectations in service and convenience. I have had my hot water heater replaced, some plumbing rerouted, and numerous other things done by them on multiple occasions, always with top notch, fast service. Frank has even come out on a holiday when I had no hot water and worked on my water heater!

They were super fast and were at the house with in the hour of the call. We had sewage back up. Steve did a great job, however the mess left in the basement was horrendous. This job was done for an 80 year old woman who doesn't do stairs any more. Had we not gone down stairs hours later this mess would have sat for days to weeks to month's. We were not told we would have to clean up.

My experience with Jackie and his repair service on my Furnace and AC unit was 100% excellent!

BPH&C customer service was also fast and excellent with same day service!

My furnace was acting up, was constantly running and wasn't automatically shutting off like it should have. All day I had to constantly go down to the basement and manually turn the furnace on/off throughout the day. I had to hire a company to fix the problem but had no idea who to call. Since the heat still worked I was able to take my time and find a good company. After doing my homework I decided my first (and only) call would be to Birmingham Plumbing Heating and Cooling. I spoke with Andrea who was extremely friendly, she instantly made me feel like I made the right call. She listed to me and took the time to fully understand my problem, needs and requests. After all my question were answered she was able to schedule my appt the following day. The technician showed up early and was able resolved my furnace problem. A week or so later I got a follow up call from Andrea to make sure I was happy with the overall service. I told her I was extremely satisfied and will be a customer for life!!!! Thanks again Andrea!!

I needed help fixing/hooking up the water line to my freezer’s ice maker. We weren’t sure if it was a plumbing issue or appliance, but Greg went above and beyond to help me figure out the problem and was dedicated to making sure it was resolved. Greg took great care in my home as well, and I’m so appreciative of his help. Overall I had an excellent experience with Birmingham Plumbing - they are honest, fair, and a great company to work with. Highly recommended!
