SAS has completed multiple services at my home: 2 concrete jobs and installation of a basement water proofing system with a sump pump. The team is organized, timely, performs high quality work, and the prices are reasonable. I plan to use their services in the future as well.

Called to get a basement repair for the chimney clean out. Had a estimate and appointment quickly. Work was done in a day, cleaned up and video shared of the problem. We've had several rains and a dry basement. Love the transferable warranty on the work!

I was pleasantly surprised when I met Larry Karash he gave us a roof and gutter quote. He was so professional, there when he said he would be and answered all our questions.
The roof and gutters look AMAZING and I will be using this company again and I recommend you do the same you won’t be disappointed! -
Had SAS pour cement patio and do some concrete leveling. Great work all around, and Steve and Dino both very good to deal with.

Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Competitively priced, quality work with a warranty and he came early. Thanks to John and Steve.

the men were polite, quiet and neat. I tole them they could listen to music if they wanted to but declined. They were very efficient and cleaned up after themselves.

This is now my second job with SAS. I came to know of them through my daughter-in-law and her husband after they had their basement walls repaired.
My first job was a re-do after my warranty expired from leaking basement walls. The technology they replaced was outdated 15 years ago. They had to remove the old injection "pocket" that ran diagonally from the basement window to about 2ft. above the floor. With the "new technology" they used, the moisture in the space caused their compound to dry and fill the formerly leaking space.
The second job was to repair beneath the basement window where the frame was blown out by the previous repair I had done. SAS wasn't able to fill the gap with their repair. Their compound did not expand, it closed up the leak.
The solution was to dig to the drain tiles. The trench was 5ft. long by 2 ft. wide by 8ft. deep. It had to be hand dug and it was solid clay. Next they had to clean the surface, seal the wall and tie into the drian tiles. Once completed they refilled the trench 2/3 of the way up with pea gravel and covered over the top with some of the clay.
The three man crew was meticulous in their clean-up. They even picked the remaining pea gravel out of the grass by hand. They left everything in better condition than they found it. I will definitely recommend SAS for their fair pricing and the quality of work they do.

So far so good just had the basement totally waterproof. They were very professional in and out in 3 days because it was a big job even help me out with some things that had to be removed at no extra cost I truly appreciate it. Came back a week later to help me out with putting the washer and dryer back because I'm a senior but I believe they're not responsible for that. So super super thanks to SAS waterproofing appreciating so much that I'm having them to take a look at my garage for vinyl siding.

Absolutely impressed with the quality and professionalism from start to finish! The team was on time, courteous, and efficient. They explained everything clearly, stuck to the schedule, and left the site cleaner than they found it. Our new roof looks amazing, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, top-notch roofing services!

Steve the owner came out personally for my estimate. Friendly and professional, Steve noticed my problem with my egress window right away. I would recommend this company for any foundation needs.

We had SAS and their team do multiple jobs for us- they replaced our roof, they encapsulated our crawl space, installed a new sump pump with a wireless monitor, and installed new gutters. I would highly recommend them- they have knowledgeable, professional staff. They were timely and communicated the project timelines.

Above and beyond expectations!
To be completely honest, I’m a tough customer, expect a lot and expect to be disappointed when it comes to services like this.
Larry who quoted the job showed up quickly and on time. He was super professional, gave me a no BS quote and was extremely competitive on the price. Larry stayed in contact with leading up to and throughout the project until the end to make sure everything went as planned.
The crew also was on time and professional. They went above and beyond to identify and make other small needed repairs. They left the place looking great and clean of any nails and debris.
Highly recommended for all the right reasons. -
Dino and his crew did an amazing job rebuilding my mom’s crumbling patio wall. Dino discussed details to ensure that we made informed decisions. They were very reliable and kept the worksite in excellent shape during the project. The work was superior with great attention to detail! Efficient, professional, responsive, friendly and overall quality work. I would highly recommend this crew and company!

Steve and his team did great work and were professional through the entirety of the project. I would recommend them to anyone!

We are extremely happy with the roof SAS Construction put on our house 10 years ago. They were very polite, professional and attentive to all of our requests. Recently we called them about a shingle that was frayed and they were out immediately to replace as well as inspect the rest of the roof for possible issues. Their standard of service is impeccable. We recommended them to our neighbors and friends.

There has been at least four notable storms in my area since SAS Home Services installed drain tiles and sump in my basement. We came out of each of them, without incident. On every good rain, our sump does its thing, again, without incident. Steve and crew do great, reliable work. You can’t put a price on the peace of mind of knowing you have protection when you need it, especially when we see neighbors unfortunately placing their possessions on the curb after a down pour. We didn’t actually choose SAS to do our work, our builder did. I’ll call Steve for any related work in the future.

I used their services multiple times (3-4 times in the past year) but my recent encounter with the owner was terrible. They changed my appointment twice. The second time they didn’t even notify me and had the audacity to show me an attitude as if I was wrong. Steve isn’t someone I would give any business to moving forward. Not only will I take my business elsewhere but I will stop recommending them to anyone.

Steve does an incredible job and makes sure everything is taken care of, as if it were his own home. I strongly recommend them based on their experience and commitment to quality.

Beware!!
SAS replaced the entire roof with a 50 year warranty in addition to 15 sheets of new plywood.
We recently noticed that many areas of the roof are sagging horribly and not even safe to walk on.
The shingles are blowing off in addition to active leaking.
It took over a month to get someone out to the home to look at the issues after repeated phone calls.
SAS, could care less about our concerns.
The owner, Steve Safie finally decided to show up two hours late. He was condescending and rude. When asked about his thoughts after looking in the attic, he stated he had none and got in his truck and left.
It was discovered that the ridge vent system was not properly installed. The ridge was not cut out to vent the attic, even though it was installed on the exterior of the roof, except for a very small section right above the attic access.
Being that the homeowner was not able to climb into the attic and personally inspect due to health and advanced age, the only spot that appeared to be properly cut out by the installers was just above the attic opening hatch to falsely appear that the venting was done on the entire ridge of the home.
As a result of no ventilation in the attic, the plywood is delaminated and in complete failure due to excessive heat and humidity thus the reason of the sagging on the roof. The entire roof needs to be replaced along with all the plywood.
We have a $31,000 estimate to fix the roof, not including the possibility of truss damage and mold, due to humidity being trapped in the attic for years. This assessment has been confirmed by three other roofing contractors in our area. They all stated the same thing, this was done purposely for whatever reason we have no idea.
In addition to the lack of venting, it was discovered that none of the 15 sheets of plywood that was paid for were replaced at the time of roof installation.
Spoke with Steve the owner of SAS this afternoon, he refuses to do anything for us, besides giving us our money back for the additional plywood that we were charged for and never installed and then hung up the phone on us.
Now our only option is to take legal action against SAS in which we are already pursuing. Based on our three inspections by local roofing contractors and numerous photos and documentation, this should be an open and shut case.
Local problem solvers next on the list!
The general public needs to be made aware of such blatant lack of responsibility on behalf of SAS Home Improvement. Terrible company!
Beware!
I would definitely look elsewhere when selecting a qualified roofing contractor. -
This was a big cement work job with new driveway, sidewalk, patio, garage floor, and raised garage to prevent flooding. Workers did great job. Dino addressed any concerns immediately. I have already recommended company to a coworker and neighbor.

SAS fixed a problem caused by another company. We deeply appreciated their expertise and willingness to help! Steve was great when he came out to assess the problem and Dino did an awesome job with the repair. Very professional and trustworthy company. Thank you!
