Roger and his crew did a wonderful job cleaning my backyard of overhead branches hanging from my neighbors tree and cutting down a tree before my privacy fence installation. Thank you so much 😊

I personally HAVE NOT used this service; however, I'm witness to an event that I'd never have imagined would happen in 2020.

Members of this company illegally accessed a property to service an adjacent property. Part of the work required to remove a tree needed to take place from the yard next door.

The workers DID NOT attempt contacting the owner of the home next door to ask permission to access their yard. Instead, they picked the lock of the secured fence, opened it, and toted all of their equipment to the back of the house to begin trimming the tree in the neighboring yard. What they didn't know was the homeowner was in the house the entire time. She'd been working from home due to COVID-19. It was not until she heard noises from the back yard that she became aware of people being on her property.

When she realized what was taking place, she went into the backyard and immediately confronted them; at which time they confessed they didn't think anyone was home. She advised if they believed no one was home they should have never entered her yard, and asked them to leave. She gave them 30 minutes to collect their belongings, clean up the mess they'd made, move her furniture to its original location, and then exit. She'd had a work related meeting that she was facilitating which was set to begin soon, and assumed the workers would be gone when she was done. They ignored the request and went along with their work; she could hear them cutting limbs from her home office.

When her meeting ended, she confronted them again, and said she'd call the police. Not only were they uninvited and trespassing, but they'd accessed her property illegally and she'd already asked them to leave. It was at this point they began to take her seriously, and begged that she allow them to stay offering free labor re: trimming a tree in her own yard. With that, she left them, went inside, and phoned her city's nonemergency number to report the incident.

Within minutes, the police had contacted the company and spoken with the owner who was shocked and dismayed by their employees conduct. They were very apologetic.

Before long the workers began packing their belongings, but tried to leave without cleaning the yard where they worked, and moving the furniture back to its original location.

After reading so many positive comments regarding the quality of their work, it's unfortunate a few inappropriate knuckleheads could negatively impact a company's relatively pristine reputation. I don't want anyone to lose their job behind this, everyone makes mistakes. I do however want the owner, if you read this, to reprimand the folks responsible for today's incident. Before they access anyone’s property, they need to have the full consent of the property owner, if not the occupant. It is NEVER okay to enter an owned and occupied residence without permission.

I called and left a message for this company to come out and give me an estimate. I saw they had good reviews. I was contacted back by someone and I gave him my address in Detroit to my home. The man took the address and stated he would call me back in a few days. I never heard back from him in 2 weeks and I called to find out what happen to then be told they don't service my area. I'm not sure why I wasn't told that up front, however I feel like that man I spoke to was prejudice!

Used Service in April. The price was great. They came as promised. Referred to sister in November... She was happy with job they did, and how fast. My only one concern was they needed to access one tree from neighbor's lawn and they did not ask for permission (they did however lay down boards to protect their lawn).

Work was done quickly and everything was cleaned up..Great Company

Roger and his team at Elite Tree Service were all very professional with great communication and did a great job removing two large pine trees from my front yard including grinding down the stumps. I would definitely recommend this company.

This is the 2nd time Elite Tree Service has come to our home. Would 100% recomend to anybody who needs tree work done! A very knowledgeable arborist. They do quality work, very fast and efficient. And clean up when they are done.

This Company was great, they were fast and very mindful of cleanup. I would recommend this Company. We agreed on 1 tree being cut down, but then our other tree only had branches on 1 side so I asked if they could remove that tree also and they said yes. Very happy with them and would recommend them

Single tree removal for an 89 year old in Warren Michigan close to his business. Failed to complete clean up as promised. Spoke with the company several times on behalf of the senior citizen. They have been paid in full and job was not finished. The homeowner is to elderly to complete the job. Cannot recommend Elite Tree Service. Make sure your job is totally completed to your satisfaction before paying.

I had a tree that had partially fallen due to storm damage. I called over the weekend asking for information and for an estimate. Roger came out that day and gave me an extremely reasonable price and said that he could have someone out on Monday. Within an hour, he had staff on site taking care of the tree. Not only is their service quick, but everyone was extremely polite and efficient.

We had 3 quotes from different tree removal companies. Elite tree services beat the other 2 and won the job. They arrived at the scheduled time and removed 6 trees from our back and front yard. They worked fast and cleanly. I'm very impressed therefore, I do recommend this company!!

Roger was great on pricing for my mother’s home. The Elite team was truly Elite! The men were great and polite and very respectful of my mom. Thanks for the great service.

Roger went over and above in removing several trees that were leaning over our neighbor's yard, as well as a large, dead ash tree that have become a safety issue. Great to work with, great price and top notch work. Would recommend him any time!!

Had a tree cut down by them today!!! Impressive company. They were here and done in 40 minutes!!! Everything cleaned up beautifully. They were professional and courteous. Now I have them coming back Monday to majorly trim another tree. Highly recommend!!! Today they came back and trimmed the heck out of our huge maple tree. Looks fabulous!!! Can't say enough good things about this company!!!

Very prompt, fast, fair price. Crew was courteous, professional, and the area clean up was left in better shape after the job was done than before they arrived. I had another highly rated tree service decline because some limbs/branches were touching the high voltage wires; Elite took on the task without blinking an eye. I highly recommend Elite Tree Service. JOB WELL DONE!

If I could rate this company 0, I most definitely would. I was quoted by a team member in Feb 2017 and shortly after I decided I would move forward with their service. Upon arrival, they stated another tree in my yard was at risk (conveniently nothing about this tree when the estimate was done was mentioned). I decided to pay for that to be removed as well.

They completed both trees and then said they would come back to do the stump removal when the ground was dryer in order to "save" my lawn. I waited, no removal. So I called that summer and they said they'd come out asap and confirmed my address. Never showed. I called again and they stated the same thing. I called twice more and talked to the man and he said he would come out "next week" because they've been very busy. I paid $250 for a stump removal that still hasn't been completed 11 months later!

At the time, I appreciated the fact that they didn't want to mess up my yard but at this point, we have been through all 4 seasons and still I have an unsightly stump.

Whatever you do, DON'T USE ELITE TREE SERVICE.

Did a good job cutting my trees, were prompt and very affordable. Came in $400 less than another estimate we received and even took some other branches we had already cut free of charge. The only reason I gave them 4 stars was because they didn't do the best job cleaning up. There were many branches I had to retrieve from my neighbors yard, debris to sweep on the driveway and a few water bottles laying around. Overall good experience and I would recommend them.

They gave us an estimate on removing 2 large maples, grinding the stumps, and surface roots that we felt was very reasonable. The Elite Tree team work so fast, they're friendly, they did a great job, and cleaned up well. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and will refer them to anyone I know who needs tree service.
