Metro Detroit Tree & Firewood was an amazingly skillful and professional company. They provided me with a free and easy quote just a day or so after I contacted the company. The man who inspected the tree was super friendly and knowledgeable. I was even provided a copy of their insurance with the quote. It's the little touches like a copy of the insurance that helps consumers (at least me) feel at ease with a business. The removal of my decrepit and potentially dangerous Silver Maple was efficient and clean. They left no messes in my neighbors driveway which just highlights their respect and professionalism. I would call Metro Detroit Tree again if I ever needed tree services. I highly recommend you call them for a quote if you've got any tree needs!

The experience with José and his crew blew everyone out of the water right out the gate and by a long shot. This team is a group of no nonsense consummate professionals.

I have been a contractor for 30 years and have used several tree companies to trim, remove individual trees and clear for subdivisions. These guys were incredible. This tree was huge and in a very dangerous location between two houses.
Their crew was phenomenal in their almost surgical removal of the tree. They were quick, cleaned up and even handled traffic control throughout the job. I can’t compliment them enough.

My neighbor hired this company to remove a massive stump that was between our property line and they completely tore up my backyard and sprinkler system in the process.

Spoke with owner, Jose, about remediation and he laughed in my face and said I was “lucky that’s all that happened”.

They’ve been saying they’re going to come out to remediate for a month now and they have yet to hold true to their promise.

What they claim:
- Owner is at EVERY job
- Plastic mats laid down to SAFEGUARD yard
- Treat your property like THEIR OWN
- Fully & IMPECCABLY cleanup

Reality of practice:
- No owner on job
- Did not use mats
- Destroyed lawn, leaving a crater in it
- Tore up sprinkler system
- Wood chips & debris left everywhere

This company did a fantastic job. Had 2 trees removed and stumps ground plus they brought a new tree and planted it. The office staff went above and beyond to meet my accommodations. I will definitely use Metro Tree again.

After moving into our new home we knew that project #1 was to clean up the backyard. We received multiple quotes from different companies, and ultimately went with Metro Detroit Tree. Were there companies that provided a cheaper quote? Sure. That said, those companies did not provide me the same comfort around getting the job done correctly and professionally with the assurances that Metro Detroit Tree and Firewood did. Their crew was extremely respectful of mine and my neighbors' yards and the work they did was extremely professional. They really have it down to a science and Jose and his crew run like a well oiled machine. In our specific case we had to have a piece of fence taken down and our neighbors yard used to get the stump grinder in. They carefully took down the fence (which has rotting posts) and put it back up. In the most recent wind storm (yesterday), it fell down. Jose and his crew were out here within hours of my call with a chain saw and hammer putting that piece of fencing back up as he took full responsibility for his work and everything they touched. He treated it like it was his own house. I've included some before and after photos. They completely cleared out our new home's yard, which included stump grinding on 20-some trees, including two big Maples. Again, I can't recommend them enough if you're looking to have tree work done. Thanks to Jose and his crew!

This is the second time I have used this company. They do a great job and are fast and efficient and want to make sure that you are happy with the way things look. Jose came in the morning, gave me a good quote and a copy of the insurance, and said I would be hearing from them to set up a day for the work in the next week and a half. That afternoon Tahlima called from the office and left a message saying the crew was nearby and could come then if that would work out for me. I was in a meeting and missed the call. To my surprise, the trucks pulled up and Eric said they could do the work that day. A crew of 6 trimmed two flowering crab apple trees, a bush, and a pine. They trimmed the trees away from the neighbors' properties and then shaped and balanced them. They ALL did a beautiful job. Eric answered all my questions. Others visiting at the house were impressed with the company, watched Eric carefully shape the smaller apple tree, and said he was an artist. We will not hesitate to use this company in the future.

Jose and his crew did a great job cutting down 5 of my trees and grinding their stumps between my front and back yards. The trees were next my house in front and my patio in the back yard. They also trimmed two red maples on the front boulevard. Their quoted price was good and they were able to do the job in one day after I agreed to the contract because they had an opening. They worked for 3.5 straight hours and finished with a meticulous cleanup. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in getting their trees done.

They worked so fast, did a pretty good clean up after my tree was down and gave me a very reasonable rate.

Attempted to make appointment almost a month in advice said had to schedule because bigger job so ok. New day came by and again reschedule was needed. So if you have a minor job and like wasting days, time, and being rescheduled this is the team for you. By the way each time I had to reach out to them they would never call me.

The owner is professional and prompt. Excellent communication and showed up on the day he said he would. The crew was in and out in under 30 mins. Would highly recommend this business.

Loved the service I got from Elite. They came out the next business day, cut a tree down for me and trimmed another. They also went above and beyond and ground a stump down for me and carried away some broken tree limbs from a different tree. Thanks again!

I am totally satisfied..They are very professional..within few hours they cut our big maple tree and clean all..Owner was so good and give us a good deal too...I extremely recommend them for tree removing and stumping..

They did a great job trimming my 4 trees. Additionally, they came back out later and gave me a quote for full tree removal of one of them which allowed me to take it to DTE and get them to remove it for me.
