Tom did a GREAT job taking care of my issues with my refrigerator. Was very kind and explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. Great customer service, which you don't see that often now a days.

The technician arrived well within the time frame previously communicated to me. He diagnosed the issue with our dish washer immediately and proceeded to fix it. Work was done very quickly and expertly. The technician clearly was experienced and explained each step of the repair to me. He was also personable and friendly. The machine now runs like it was new. Overall a very satisfactory experience. I would recommend Sears home appliance insurance to anyone based on this experience.

William showed up on time and did a pretty amazing job at evaluating the problem right from the start. Took his time explaining everything and showing me exactly what the issue was and how to prevent it from happening again. He fixed the issue in a timely manor all while being supervised by my cat..lol.. which is a plus because she usually is a bit shy when first encountering new people! Thank You William!

I had got a price of $99.00 for someone to come to my home and assess my dishwasher to see why it wasn’t working. At the end I got charged $149.00. I called them to say they told me $99.00 and have it confirmed in email. Someone emailed me back stating they owe me nothing. I emailed them the confirmed price and document and never got an response. The only good thing was my service technician was great

I would give 0 if there is an option. My washer machine had issue on the door lock so I couldn’t close the door. I contacted Sears service department for diagnosis. The technician arrived at my house but didn’t diagnose the problem AT ALL. What he did was just check the washer door and told me the entire door needs to be replaced. The entire diagnosis was less than 10 mins. The cost he quote me to replace the door was over $700

I then checked it by my self and it was only a loose pin from the spring sitting inside the door. It didn’t cost anything to fix it. I expected an experienced technician should be at least diagnose the problem and let me know what the problem is. I didn’t expect the technician to fix it of course. However, he didn’t even perform the diagnosis part. Basically just showed up and told me to replace the door. I don’t believe I should get charged on the diagnosis fee because he didn’t do the diagnosis so I was requesting a refund. I have contacted the service department several times. Every time they just told me they sent the case to Sears Home Services Email Team to review the case. The email team doesn’t have any phone number to call. The only way to communicate with them is through email. I finally received the email from them. The decision is they can’t refund me the diagnosis fee because the fee is for a technician to review the unit and to provide a diagnosis. I tried to explain to them the technician didn’t do any diagnosis but never got any response back. So far I have emailed the team 6 times but never heard back from them. The experience to use their services is terrible.

Dontay was very friendly and respectful. He was able to diagnose the problem on our oven quickly. Would absolutely have him and Sears appliance repair out to service our appliances again.

Both technicians did an amazing job. We needed a part ordered but received it quickly. Came out originally on a Wednesday and totally done Saturday.

Thoroughly disappointed. First, they never called to say they rescheduled my service. I spoke to multiple people about the missed appointment and was advised that I would get a call back. After following up because the call back never came, I finally found out the updated appointment. Now I get a call from the technician who says they don't do the cleaning and maintenance that I was booked for, and I should just purchase a new grill. However, I had confirmed that they do the cleaning each time I spoke with someone. I am very disappointed that I wasted my time and I am back where I started. Get somebody else to do it, or you'll likely end up like me.

Charles was a breath of fresh air when it comes to service professionals, he is kind and easy to communicate with and quick and efficient. Above all he was a genuine all around good willed person and pleasure to have in our home.

I do not recommend unless you like getting the run around. Sears gave me a 9 hour appointment window. I waited from 7am until 4pm for the repair person to arrive. When they failed to show, I contacted Sears. I spoke to a representative who told me someone would call me in 30 min. I waited an hour and never received a call. i called back and was transferred 6 time before i could get rescheduled for the next day. I decided not to continue with the service, so I called to cancel the home warranty. I spoke to the representative and explained I wanted to cancel, and she said, "you've reached the right department." 2 minutes later, she said I would need to call back because the department that handles cancellations opens in 10 minutes. I said to her, so they open at 9:26am?" because it was 9:16 am when I was talking to her and thought 9:26am was an odd time to open. I'm still trying to cancel.

NEVER, EVER, EVER use this company. If you've already dialed the phone, HANG UP! I would have to imagine that anyone giving this sham of a company more than 1 star is either a shill or they work for SHS. The short of it all was the technician came to repair my dishwasher and had to order a part (all understandable at this point). So the part arrived via UPS 3 days later all busted up. Tried to call SHS and apparently there are no humans to talk to unless you are making an appointment or buying a warranty. finally after 2-3 hours of calls, holds and transfers I get to someone who can re-order the part. He says it's re-ordered. How should I track this? I added. His response was to check the email, text (all confirmed), or log into the website using the service number. Of course, no email, no text, and the website only displays 500-Internal Server Error. After waiting another 2+ weeks, I decided to finally call to cancel and obtain a refund. Another couple of hours of calls, waits, and transfers I finally get to a "supervisor". She tells me that the requests have been put in to cancel the order, send me shipping label for the broken part, and get a refund. I'll believe it when I see it since they said my confirmation of these requests would come via email, text, and online which of course never occurred (and yes, I checked the spam folder). So for the love of God, I would beg any one of you to NEVER, EVER, EVER use this scam of a company.

I am writing this to warn potential customers. I was charged $149 for refrigerator repair I did not receive. I canceled the service. The repair technician showed up, and I explained that I canceled service. He was very nice and reassured me that I would not be charged. I have been sent 4 bills for $149 for a service I did not receive. Everytime I called a customer service representative said they would remove the charge from my account. I received a collections notice for this bill. Please beware of their unethical business.

Very dishonest business. I was told my plan covered water heater which is why I bought in on the plan. It did not and I spent 2 months trying to cancel my service. They refused every time I called. I was left on hold for 30min which then automatically closed the call. This happened around 9 times. I ended up having to put a block on them through my card since they kept taking the monthly fee and refused service as well as refused to cancel. Very disappointed.

The technician was knowledgeable and hopefully fixed our dishwasher for the last time. We have had it serviced SEVERAL times in the past 5 months. Most in part to techs breaking other parts when fixing the original problem. My BIGGEST complaint is not being a priority when Ive lost so many days of work due to problems not cause by me or the appliance! I asked over and over to be the 1st call of the day since this is about the 7th service call. I was told btw 7am-11am. The tech got here at 1:18 pm and was here until just before 3pm. This resulted in me losing a WHOLE day of work. Im glad to NOT have continued coverage with this service any more. Its been a horrible experience! I've lost more in pay than I paid for the coverage. Icing on the cake was tech asking to have the parts that were ordered to replace what wasn't even broken. I think NOT. Why should I continue to be accommodating to a company that could care less about its customers?!

I have a Sears master protection agreement and they simply will not move forward witht he repair. PLEASE DO NOT USE SEARS. Based on my experience they will be happy to take your money but they will NOT perform the service. Giving them a single star is beyond generous. They are happy to take your money but have zero interest in honoring the service agreements

Service techs ,Bill, Patrick and Adonis were knowledgeable, friendly and courteous They are 5 star. The "Office staff" seem to be non-existent. Never return calls. The emails were incorrect, It took 24 days to get a dryer repaired. I do want to single Patrick out. If it wasn't for Patrick the repair would not have happened. The service Techs raised my rating from 0 stars to for.

David was very professional, knowledgeable and got my AC up and running. He took his time to make sure everything was working properly, even cleaned the outside of the AC unit. I will request him again if needed. I'd give him a 10 if possible, excellent job David. God bless you. 👏 🙏

The service man came out the same day I called. He pinpoined the problem with my oven right away. He had the part with him and I got right back to baking Christmas cookies. I am very happy with Sears Appliance Repair.

Jessup D came to repair our ice maker on our whirlpool refrigerator/freezer. He originally came out and diagnosed our problem exactly what we needed. But due to a third party warranty “red tape” we had to do this repair in several steps. At the end of it all Jessup stuck by us as we got all the parts we needed and came back to fix the problem.

Also special shout out to Marshall who helped install new fans while we wait for the rest of the parts to come in.

This is my first negative comment but a well needed one. This company stole hard earned money from me. Long story short, I paid for the service fee, found out I needed a part ordered for my laundry unit to get fixed. Paid for that also. Around $370.00. Repair tech was unable to fix it and informed me that i will receive a refund for the unused part. Well a month later and no refund. Called several times (8 times) no billing department. Was giving a email address for billing (4 times) and no response from that. Until i receive my full refund for the part and money that was stolen, I will forever consider this place as a scam. And warn all that I know and post on all platforms.
