Tom did a GREAT job taking care of my issues with my refrigerator. Was very kind and explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. Great customer service, which you don't see that often now a days.
The technician arrived well within the time frame previously communicated to me. He diagnosed the issue with our dish washer immediately and proceeded to fix it. Work was done very quickly and expertly. The technician clearly was experienced and explained each step of the repair to me. He was also personable and friendly. The machine now runs like it was new. Overall a very satisfactory experience. I would recommend Sears home appliance insurance to anyone based on this experience.
William showed up on time and did a pretty amazing job at evaluating the problem right from the start. Took his time explaining everything and showing me exactly what the issue was and how to prevent it from happening again. He fixed the issue in a timely manor all while being supervised by my cat..lol.. which is a plus because she usually is a bit shy when first encountering new people! Thank You William!
Nice guy and he knew his job very well.
I had got a price of $99.00 for someone to come to my home and assess my dishwasher to see why it wasn’t working. At the end I got charged $149.00. I called them to say they told me $99.00 and have it confirmed in email. Someone emailed me back stating they owe me nothing. I emailed them the confirmed price and document and never got an response. The only good thing was my service technician was great
I would give 0 if there is an option. My washer machine had issue on the door lock so I couldn’t close the door. I contacted Sears service department for diagnosis. The technician arrived at my house but didn’t diagnose the problem AT ALL. What he did was just check the washer door and told me the entire door needs to be replaced. The entire diagnosis was less than 10 mins. The cost he quote me to replace the door was over $700 I then checked it by my self and it was only a loose pin from the spring sitting inside the door. It didn’t cost anything to fix it. I expected an experienced technician should be at least diagnose the problem and let me know what the problem is. I didn’t expect the technician to fix it of course. However, he didn’t even perform the diagnosis part. Basically just showed up and told me to replace the door. I don’t believe I should get charged on the diagnosis fee because he didn’t do the diagnosis so I was requesting a refund. I have contacted the service department several times. Every time they just told me they sent the case to Sears Home Services Email Team to review the case. The email team doesn’t have any phone number to call. The only way to communicate with them is through email. I finally received the email from them. The decision is they can’t refund me the diagnosis fee because the fee is for a technician to review the unit and to provide a diagnosis. I tried to explain to them the technician didn’t do any diagnosis but never got any response back. So far I have emailed the team 6 times but never heard back from them. The experience to use their services is terrible.
