What locals say about Appliance Repair in Lincoln Park

After 4 months of not having a washer due to the motor being on “Back Order”, Howard has jumped into the thick of this warranty debacle to try to convince the “Offline Department” to get us a new washer when no one else has given our situation the attention it so desperately needs! We can’t thank him enough!

Dennis the technician was excellent. Time window by Sears was too wide (7-4). Narrower window would be appreciated.

Technician was Great! Sear Home Service Is not recommended though. Hard to contact, don’t full fill their obligations, keep promising diagnoses report inn72 and never get it ( requested 4 times now). Customer service is terrible and it always gets routed outside of US . Hard to understand, no urgency or respect for their customers. Will never use again

I loved my technician Seth!! He was knowledgeable and thorough. Even provided some maintenance tips for my washer. Oh let me mention that he was prompt and fast with the repairs

Poor diagnostic service & quality for refrigerator repair. The tech did not know how to use Samsung self-diagnosis system to troubleshoot by error codes. So, instead he telephone called other techs to determine cause of refrigerator over cooling. Therefore, their solution is just to recommend to replace all parts that control temperature (e.g. main circuit board, temperature sensor, etc.) For a total charge greater than $800. Do not waste your money on Sears Home Repair Services for your refrigerator repair. They will try to charge you to replace parts based on trial & error basis as a process of elimination until the get it to work. I paid $149 for service call which was a waste of money because tech had no clue on how to identify exact cause of repair by using refrigerators self diagnostic system per Samsung call afterwards.
