Constraction reviews in Bloomington, Minnesota

We were very pleased with the work Nova did for us . They replaced our driveway and part of our sidewalk, and reset our front steps. They were very hard working and very careful that their work was done correctly. They were good about listening to our concerns.

Nova Concrete was dedicated to helping me when no one else would give me an estimate for damage done on my property. Professional and courteous, everyone involved was efficient and effective. I have recommended to many people, Nova Concrete, and every-time someone needs I will always recommend. 10/10 stars.

Very professional concrete company. Highly responsive customer service and Jose + his team had incredible attention to detail. Proper base preparation with compaction, reviewed design details with me, beautiful finish to the concrete. Jose was patient and worked some very long days to get our project to completion on time.

Jose and the Nova Concrete team did excellent work on a concrete patio for the front yard of our 1916 Craftsman bungalow in South Minneapolis. Part of the project included brick demo and repair along with re-pouring the home's entry stairs which they handled easily. We added a small concrete slab to house our grill at the last minute and the team made it look like it was original to our backyard concrete without issue. Work was efficient, fairly priced and Jose and Olidia were super responsive and easy to work with.

We had a great experience working with Nova on a small job that they were able to get done quickly. They were very accommodating and I appreciate the quick response given a step at our side door had collapsed.

Never had any issues my family and I have always called them and refer them !! Best choice I’ve ever made !!

Nova Concrete did a great job with our small order ! Great communication, timely scheduling, beautifully finished work, and great cleanup when they were done. Also, some great design work. They thought to install a drain in our small sidewalk project by our pool, which has turned out to be an amazing idea !

Jose and his crew did an amazing job on our back patio. He was helpful in the design process and had ideas on how to improve the look we wanted. He and the crew showed up when they said they would and completed the job quickly and for a fair price. I would highly recommend Nova Concrete for your concrete needs.

Very happy to have chosen Nova Concrete to replace my garage floor in July of 2023. A couple of other companies refused to bid on the job or even come look at it. Some even recommended demo-ing the entire garage. Nova did an amazing job in explaining a couple different approaches to handling my specific problem, and spoke from a place that they've handled similar situations. The initial estimate was very close to the final pricing and the job was done exactly as described. I'm writing this review 6 months after the pour, because I wanted to wait in case there were any issues. Thanks for the great work.

We requested three different bids for this job. Nova Concrete spent the most time to design a solution that worked best for us. They always offered us the most cost-friendly option and didn't charge extra for some of the things other concrete contractors said they'd charge for. They went out of their way to order a special stamp that we liked. The crew was fast, thorough, and always respectful of our property. We are incredibly happy with the results. See the attached photo for yourself to see how much our dog enjoys our new driveway/sidewalk. We recommend Nova Concrete, especially if you want to support minority & women-owned small businesses.

Had Jose come out to look at a smaller project. He respectfully told me his company focuses on a little bit larger projects and took 10 minutes to explain to me how to do it myself. What a great sincere company!!

Thank you so much for the amazing job that you did for us, adding so much value to our property. Your good quality and professional work really is superior and of great detail. We are forever grateful for your work and I assure you that I’m going to recommend to my clients and friends.

I am so happy with the work Nova Concrete did at my house. I thought the garage was a lost cause but they were able to pick it up, replace the floor and foundation and put it back in place with no damage. They also replaced my apron and added a pathway on the side of the garage. They were very responsive to my requests and questions. Their business manager Olivia is very easy to work with as is the foreman Jose. They were also very courteous to my neighbors, moving equipment right away when needed. I would hire them again for sure.

Great to work with from start to finish.
Very happy with the new front stoop, steps and sidewalk. A project we put off for too long.
Do not hesitate, call Nova and get it done right at a great price!

Nova Concrete provided exceptional customer service. They did an excellent job on my front stoop adding curb appeal to my home and on a new back patio. They were timely, cleaned up thoroughly, and left my home looking far better. I'd recommend the Nova Concrete team to anyone. Please consider them on your next concrete job.

They were great to work with. They were able to adjust their schedule to accommodate changes in my schedule. They did a great job with pouring the concrete and cleaned up everything after they were done. I highly recommend Nova Concrete.

We hired Nova Concrete for two jobs: foundations and floor for an addition and creating a new patio in front of the house. Both jobs were finished on time, on budget and were beautifully done. We couldn't be happier with the results. We had a general idea of how the patio would look but really, Jose was the one who created the final look. He's an artist with concrete. Also, his crew work together like a well-oiled machine.

We were pretty nervous about replacing our deck with a patio, but it was the best decision we could have made for our backyard space. Jose was great to work with- he was quick to respond to messages and creative in helping us plan the shape, color, and stamp pattern. He was also kind and patient when we changed things mid-project. His hard working, friendly crew is highly skilled at what they do. We love the finished product and will definitely call them the next time we have a job requiring concrete.

Jose and his team did amazing work with our driveway and patio! They were communicative, professional, friendly, and did an incredible job. We are so happy with our driveway and patio and cannot stop singing their praises. Their price was reasonable and you can see the passion they have for quality work. We would hire them again and again for any concrete project!

The entire Nova team was great to work with: very responsive, professional, and high-quality work. They removed our front steps and a portion of the front sidewalk, enclosed the old well pit under the front steps, and replaced a large patio in the back of the house. Jose and his crew are very hard workers and they have great skills. We are extremely happy with the results!

We had a great experience with Nova Concrete. They had no problem taking on our smaller project and got it done qucik and for less than other estimates. Communication was thorough and friendly. Highly recommended.
