A1 Tree & Stump Removal did an outstanding job removing a MASSIVE silver maple that I needed to have taken down. The tree was right next to my house with branches overhanging my garage, powerlines on two sides, and a neighboring restaurant close by. Very technical job. Alex was super professional and came out the day after I called. I had it quoted by 6 different companies and A1 had the most reasonable quote. I called on Monday and the tree was gone by the end of the week. They ground out the stump, removed the woodchips & debris, and even helped me cut up some of the wood I wanted to keep. Thor and the rest of the climbers worked their tails off to get it done safely and efficiently. Truly incredible work. Thanks guys!

Our silver maple was gigantic! The roots were taking over the whole yard, cut out the electric to the garage, housed 1000’s of squirrels that ate all the soffits around our house. Alex from A1 T&S came the day I called for a quote, and followed up a few days later. ( the other 2 companies I called, I had to ask them if they saw our tree) Alex took care of everything and his crew removed the tree and stump in a day. I am very happy with the services provided by A1 in removing a dying tree from my front yard at short notice prior to real estate listing pictures. Alex came by on short notice on his way home, to give me an estimate and was willing to work with my budget and timeline. The tree was taken down the next day, and the stump was gone and the area seeded by the end of the week. I highly recommend A1 and will call them again if I need tree help!

My neighbor and I share a large elm tree on our lot line. We received 4 bids for trimming the tree to get rid of dead branches and raise the canopy off of both of our roofs. All were companies that were licensed and insured to serve our area in South Minneapolis. All of them scheduled an estimate for the trimming and gave us bids promptly via text message. We chose A1 Tree Services because they employ an arborist and because they arranged to have Excel drop our power lines during the work and return to connect again upon completion.
The workers were pleasant, listened to what we wanted done and gave a thorough explanation of what they would do. Our yards were cleared of all debris when the job was completed. We couldn't have asked for more. Job well done and I recommend A1 Tree and Stump removal.

Thanks to this company I was able to get a tree stomp removed in my driver way nobody waned to move it and he came and cut extra tree down as well no extra cost now I have a hot tub in my back yard and they came same day they gave me a quote and they pick up extra trash I appreciate that

I would recommend A1 to anyone. They were amazing! I was actually out of town when the power company could take down the power line for the job. A1 handled everything, including talking to my neighbors when their power had to unexpectedly go down for a bit too. Polite, fast and I came home to a clean and completely finished area. My tree was a HUGE silver maple that they handled with ease. I’m so impressed with them, and my neighbors said the same thing. Definitely hire them!
