I would appreciate they keep their word and show up when they say they will to remove the leaves as part of their fall cleanup package that was paid for. Now instead of one pile of leaves we have 2 piles of leaves because they were too lazy to condense them into one area. It's like pulling teeth just to get them to make things right and show up and finish the job.

I am a partially disabled Vet, Sometimes the spring and fall cleanup are difficult to keep up with. I have a large yard, and these guy's do a fantastic job. When I was working 70 hours a week the lawn mowing service was also excellent. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Green Horizons. Just a small portion of the lawn.

We have an obstacle to work around , a badminton net, and they do a wonderful job keeping our yard looking in tiptop shape. We’ve used them for about 20 years and really wish they could come back into the city for snow removal as well.

I had used GH past seasons for cleanup and was satisfied. This year I prepaid for seeding, and weed/fertilizer application. I am dissatisfied. Tried contacting them through their website twice and never got a response. Called customer service twice and did not get useful response, nor call back as requested.

I received a text in early April they were coming to seed my yard that day. I was on a train on my way out of town. Obviously, I wasn't home to prep yard or water (they left no aftercare instructions even if I'd been home). About two weeks later they did the yard cleanup with heavy blowers. I ended up reseeding my lawn at my expense and effort again.

I have never had this many weeds in my yard. All over in places I've never had weeds. Because I don't know when they are coming I'm unsure if I should try and put something down myself. I've been pulling weeds by hand. They have cancelled one application and it's unlikely I will get all the applications I prepaid.

I was willing to work with them, but attempts to contact them are fruitless. Regret the decision, and wished i spent a fraction of the money I paid on Scott's 4-step to be applied myself.

Green Horizens arrived and went to work immediately. Introduced my self to Robert. These 2 guys grabbed their machines and completed my job in probably 45 minutes and also cleaned up all the thatch. Complete job was done in about 1 1/2 hours. Excellent job done. Lawn looks great. Thanks Green Horizens. I would hire again!!

GH took over lawn mowing at our house, and also leaf pickup in the fall. Unlike our previous "leaf guys", they visit twice, to get the leaves that haven't fallen when they first visit.

Excellent communication. Work was performed promptly and effectively. 1st visit for Fall Cleanup was meticulous. I really appreciate that!

Terrible! terrible! terrible! Had signed up for gutter cleaning, aeration and reseeding & weed control. The "suposedly" came to clean our gutters, but when we finally had heavy rain on June 15, both front and back gutters were SO backed up that water was beating up on my siding and windows. Contacted them, they emailed back saying they'll send a team out. Well..10 days went by, we had another heavy rain and our gutters are STILL back up. another day of water hitting our siding and windows!!! Emailed them again, and they said they'll send another team out! Today is another 14 days and NO word from them. Meanwhile, they have been paid their $157 for gutter that is still not clean and water will ruin our siding and windows! Wonderful service!
oh, you think this is it? NO! They "suposedly" came to reseed and do weed control, though why my lawn was full of weed early May, I can never understand. I called and asked if they were coming to do weed control, and they said "yes, our team should be out within the next week!" BS!!! no one came for 2 weeks. I finally called again, and they said they'll send a team out.
was that it? NO! they came to aerate my yard, and somehow they CUT my invisible fence line! that's right! I used a different company every year and my invisible fence never got cut! To be fair, they did say have it fixed and bill them. YEAH! we'll see!
So.. they have 1 job: LAWN! and the 3 services I contracted them for, they FAILED MISERABLY AT EVERY SINGLE JOB!
I CANNOT RECOMMEND!

I was shoveling my driveway when a green horizon plow truck pulled up in my driveway. Stayed there and didn’t do anything because I had already shoveled. So what did we pay you for?? If I’m doing the work for you…

I decided to give Green Horizons a try this year and went with the full fertilization service, the gutter cleaning and the full aeration/seeding/top soil. That is a lot of money all at once.
I have been nothing but disappointed. Absolutely no communication, service unfinished, no show for weeks after initial service scheduled.
They just don’t care.
I knew their services were not the cheapest but it seemed like it would be a hands-off experience where I wouldn’t have to worry about anything. I spent so much time on the phone with them complaining because it was the only way to get their attention.
I am done.

I have a contract with Green Horizons for snow removal. Obviously, I am not getting my money’s worth since we had such a mild winter. All the more reason to think that the snow removal from last week would have been stellar.
Not the case at all. When the driveway was “cleared” on March 25, 2024, big chunks were left behind on the driveway as well as at the curb.
On March 26th, the truck ran through the grass on the side of the driveway, taking it down to dirt and also snapped the snow marker in half at the bottom corner of the driveway. There are snow markers along the sides of the driveway, so I don’t understand how or why the truck drove onto the grass..??
I had attempted to request reimbursement for this month’s fee, however, the “Customer Service” email address on their website is not complete so it would not go through. Here are the pictures. NO STARS, but you can’t post a review unless you give at least one star.

We hired Green Horizons over the late summer/early fall for mowing and gardening services. We also ordered fall aeration services that I requested in the notes to not be done until September as I ordered in August. They ignored the instructions and completed the aeration in August without notice.

During the last session of gardening services they cut down all of the bushes and perennials in our yard. I emailed and to ask what happened and didn't receive a response. Two weeks later I followed up to ask again and they responded that they would refund the gardening services. It's been a month since they promised a refund and we have not received any money back. I even followed up again a few weeks ago to ask about it to no response. The destruction of property was unacceptable. The communication from customer service has been terrible. Furthermore, the proposed solution to refund the gardening services was never completed and in my opinion, wasn't reasonable to begin with. The gardening service cost me less than $100 but the destruction of property will cost me much more than that to fix.

We were surprised and very pleased at how quickly our inquiries were answered. And, our service began the day after we accepted the estimate. We look forward to future services from Green Horizons!

I've used this company for many years at two different houses. I use them for mowing, aeration, clean up, gutters, and dirt/seeding. I've been incredibly happy with their services!

Ordered their "garden major" service which is weeding 2 hrs of a garden. Guess what they did for my $300? Weed wacked everything! For $300 I could of bought a weedwacker myself and did that!! I ordered this service because I have a huge garden that goes across the span of my backyard, I didn't expect them to do all of it, I just wanted a good job done! ALL the weeds grew back in less than 2 weeks. So I am doing the job myself now. Never going to hire this company for any job ever. I have multiple disabilities so the fact that I have to do it myself and redo it stinks but I can't rely on them. I rely on Anderson Lawn for cutting my grass and doing my snow. They do a good job and never cut corners.

Warning: Do Not Trust This Company

I strongly advise against using this company. From my experience, integrity and values are clearly not part of their business model. I was quoted $3,600 for a job, but ended up paying nearly $6,000—and the work was still incomplete.

I even submitted photo evidence showing that the job wasn’t finished as agreed. The manager told me they’d complete the work if I paid half the remaining balance. I did. Then they changed their stance and refused to come out unless I paid them for the "extra work". This is clearly a 2025 type service, you know the kind that makes you miss the old days...

My conversation with the billing department was frustrating and unproductive—it only added to my disappointment. Bottom line: they are not people of their word, and I regret trusting them. Unless you have money to burn stay away from them.

Such an easy company to work with. I love the beginning of season opportunity to sign up for all the services and get a discount. And they do really great work.

Great communication and easy service setup. They have been reliable for my weekly mowing. Most likely will use them again next summer!

I have had GH cut my grass weekly for several years. I must be first on the Monday list. They arrive on the dot and once when rain was threatening they arrived 20 minutes early. I was glad to see them. They are quite quick, do an excellent job and leave no debris behind. I get a bit of a discount by prepaying for the season. A good value.

Green Horizons did a great job with the fall cleanup of my big yard! What would have taken me days to complete was done in less than 2 hours! Thank you GH crew.

They came for a fall clean up of my neighbor's yard and blew a ton of leaves into my yard which I had just cleaned. It was definitely them as I could hear the leaves hitting my house. This is considered Private Nuisance (Minnesota Statute § 561.01). What kind of business does that?
