Great service all around! Jim responded quickly, set up a time for a property assessment that fit my schedule. He quickly spotted several diseased trees and pointed out that there were several other problematic trees and limbs hanging over my roof. Job was completed in the time frame he had promised and when they were finished the cleanup was perfect with no disturbance to my lawn and property. Highly recommend!

I have been working with Jim Dvorak for 15+ years keeping all our trees trimmed and removed if needed. He and his crew are the best in the business! Jim Dvorak and his crew worked with us to remove several *infected* large ash trees that would eventually fall on our home and a large “widow maker” that hung precariously in our yard. Jim and his crew also carefully pruned our old and enormous sugar maple to remove dead branches and to allow more light to filter through to our perennials. Finally, Jim and I walked our yard and Jim recommended and then carried out some wise, prophylactic pruning to some of our smaller trees. The price was great. We received multiple bids and Dvorak’s was in the middle - but as you can see as you read on, many other things factor into an important service like tree care. Jim and his crew were an absolute pleasure to work with. Jim is a local - born and raised here if I recall correctly. His business has been around a long time and is fully licensed and insured. Equally important, Jim is a certified arborist; when it comes to tree care, that’s really important. I was trying to create a link to the University of Minnesota Extension web page, but couldn’t figure that out, but on the webpage about how to hire a tree care professional, the U provides some Quick facts: - Tree care professionals, or arborists, are highly skilled and knowledgeable about tree care and pruning and can assess and diagnosis pest issues. - An arborist should be certified through one or more professional organizations. - A reputable professional arborist always wears personal protective equipment (PPE) and uses safety equipment. - Not all tree care companies employ professional arborists. Always ask for credentials and proof of insurance. Jim was always responsive to a call or text (although sometimes not instantaneously, as he might literally be up a tree!). Our project was not a rush job and we were very flexible when the work was done; Jim kept me abreast of his schedule and accommodated mine. I know this post is long, but Jim and his crew have earned every positive word. I wholeheartedly recommend entrusting your tree care to Jim Dvorak and his crew.
Jim and his crew exceeded my expectations. Many 6”-10” limbs removed from 4 large silver maples with additional pruning for balance and health. Additional trimming on firs and some bush removals. Execution plan, experience, recommendations, availability and price all played a part in my evaluation. We did get, lucky with dry weather. Work was completed timely, high quality and of most importance - safely. Highly recommend Dvorak Tree Service and I will certainly call Jim again when the need arises. 5 star and A+ .
Jim and his crew have worked on our property four or five times over the years, and every time our trees need a haircut (or removal), I call him. He responds quickly and always brings the equipment, manpower, and experience to get the job done well. His suggestions as he initially walks the property with me are priceless.
