Stellar experience with Encore! My furnace went out on a Sunday on one of the coldest days of the year and they had someone out to fix it almost immediately! Highly recommend this company! The owner is so friendly and easy to work with!

I have trusted Encore since it was a one man local operation. Now that they have expanded their team and services, they are still offering excellent service that I trust. They never try to sell me what I don't need, and always explain everything in detail. I am so happy to have a heating and cooling service provider that is excellent and reliable. Did I mention I trust them?

Fit an appointment in on New Year’s Eve to assist with furnace issues. They were incredibly timely, thorough, and respectful. They explained exactly what they were doing and what the issues were, and provided a range of options to resolve the issues without pressuring anything. Would highly recommend Encore to anyone!

Great and fast service. My furnace was being a diva and feeling the pressures of the holidays and low tempts. Encore was able to come out within a couple hours of my phone call. They used their tools and had it humming in satisfaction in no time! They even gave me tips on how to keep it happy. They also used their mouth to show me how the pressure of blowing affects each individual hole in the replaced part. I'm excited to teach my husband this trick! When I called them this morning I was asked "how can we make you smile today" and let's just say, having my furnace up and running so quickly definitely made me smile.

Wow! I am so impressed by the quick response. I called Encore at 3:30 on a Friday afternoon when I smelled something wrong with the furnace. In less than an hour a great technician was in my basement fixing the issue. After fixing the issue, the other components were also inspected to verify they were functioning properly. Very friendly easy going people from the one who answered the phone to the tech that made the repair. I would definitely recommend!

It started out as a repair call for an old boiler that wasn't igniting. Jon was very responsive and came out immediately as an after-hours call on a cold Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, parts for the old boiler weren't readily available and we would likely run into this problem on future repairs. Decided it was time to replace the outdated boiler. I was impressed by Jon's knowledge of boiler systems and installation. The service and quality of work was absolutely amazing!!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Encore! I came home to my home only being 58° in the middle of winter and my furnace wouldn’t stay on. I called around and no one could come until Wednesday. Kaitlyn is my neighbor and as she stopped over to drop off some space heaters, she contacted Jon to explain what was going on. Jon went out of his way to stop over to take a look quick and found the issue right away and it was a quick, easy fix. Encore is a life saver and now I have heat again! I couldn’t say thank you enough to both Kaitlyn and Jon!

My 20 year old furnace was struggling to keep up and on its last legs. Mike, Kevin and Jon promptly came out to my house and installed a whole new system. It was up and running right before below-zero temps arrived. Fantastic service from Encore!

We have been using Encore since 2017 sand recommended them to several friends. Always great customer service and response time. Technicians are always friendly and courteous. No hard upsales. We wouldn’t call anyone rlse.

Sarah went above and beyond to help us. We had a scare with our gas and needed someone to come look at it to make sure everything was working properly. Encore made sure to fit us in that very day and Sarah worked overtime to make sure we felt safe and comfortable for the time being. She found some issues we didn’t even know about and came back at a later date to fix them. Highly recommend Encore!

I arrived home late on a Friday night after being gone for a couple of days and found out my furnace wasn’t working. I had it serviced 20 days prior (by a different company) so I was a bit surprised. I did a panicked, quick Google search and saw the great reviews about Jon and Encore. I sent an email at 2 am and wasn’t expecting a response so quick. I woke up the next morning to Jon calling me. He came out to my house that morning, diagnosed the issue, and provided me with three honest options. My furnace was 23 years old, so I decided to purchase a new one. Jon wasn’t pushy and from the moment I met him, I felt like I could trust him. He relit my furnace and dropped off space heaters over the weekend. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of until they could install the new furnace. I am a new homeowner and I am so thankful and relieved I found someone I can trust.

Encore Heating & Air has been incredible to work with! Our home is less than two years old, but to ensure our system continues to run properly we signed up for the Happy Home Club and scheduling our first appointment was simple. During the furnace inspection our tech found an issue and explained thoroughly what was going on and how to fix it. We reviewed the options and two days later had another visit from Encore to order parts and discuss warranty. During this second visit we were given a price to fix the problem but also talked about contacting the builder of our home to discuss their warranty coverage. After speaking with my builder the issue was resolved by them at no cost to me.

Purchased a new furnace/AC in September. From Jon stopping over to do the estimate to the scheduling to the installation, I could not have asked for better service. I had a lot of questions, as in my townhome I had very uneven heating and cooling room to room. Jon gave really good explanations and advice and I could not be happier with the furnace he recommended. Noticeable difference in the temps in each room and level of my home, all even now instead of extreme differences. I highly recommend Encore!!

I had Encore out to my home to do both AC and furnace maintenance. My system is 25+ years old and hadn't been checked out since we moved into the home a few years ago so I wanted to make sure all was well. Given the age of my system, I was fully prepared to be told it needed a lot of repairs and that I should consider replacing instead. When the tech visited, he did a thorough inspection of both systems and much to my surprise, did not tell me it was time to replace. He said both were functioning properly and just needed a little maintenance (which he did). He advised me to keep up on maintenance and that I may still have a lot more life left in the systems than I had originally thought! They were not salesy or pushing with anything. They gave me their honest recommendations and for that, I'm grateful. They're honest, dependable and local. I will definitely be using them for all HVAC needs moving forward!

Mike was absolutely phenomenal. He did an amazing job on my water heater repair, and I was more than pleased with the courteous, professional treatment that I received both from him and from the folks in the administrative office. I will be calling Encore again for any issues I might have and recommend them highly.

I have been having problems with my boiler. I called Encore and they were able to get me scheduled next day. Jon, Justin and Mike came out to assess my boiler system. Super friendly technicians. They were able to answer all my questions and made sure that I understood all the options that I was presented. Highly recommended.

Our Nest thermostat started giving us an error on Saturday and after troubleshooting with google Nest, they advised that I needed to call a technician for the furnace. I received Jon from Encore’s number from my neighbor. I was super impressed when he answered my call late Saturday afternoon! He took the time to troubleshoot a bit with me on the phone and then advised that he would come out to see what was going on during the middle of our first Minnesota snowstorm. He spent well over and hour with us explaining everything he was doing. Unfortunately, he found that our heat exchanger was done. He said we could look for a replacement exchanger or quote new furnace. As our furnace was 21 years old, we opted for the new furnace. Jon was able to fit us in for a Monday morning install which was huge as we were relying on our gas fireplace with temps between 0 and 20! Thanks Jon and Encore for your professionalism and service! You went above and beyond and it was much appreciated! I definitely would recommend this team if you need a new furnace!

Out with the old, in with the new!

While this replacement was not on the 2025 BINGO card or welcomed... We are incredibly happy with the speed in which Encore Heating and Air not only came to assess the old furnace, talk us through our options and install the new 2 stage system, all in less than a 48 hour span!

The space heaters provided to keep the house warm were an added bonus to the already top notch service. Jonny and the crew to the rescue again! ❤️

RIP Lennox, you lived a solid 25 years, and have earned your place in the furnace scrapyard in the sky! 😂😂

AC July 2025:
Shout out to John and Encore Heating & Air! Last night, our AC decided to take an undeserved "nap" which left us melting in our 80 degree (and rising) house. Anyone who knows me, knows I keep my house at 67 year round. So needless to say, it was not a welcomed temp! 🥵 We called Encore to see if we could get a tech out sooner rather than later and Johnny to the rescue at 11pm, and in the rain no less!!! 10 out of 10 on the quick fix, and 20 out of 10 on the above and beyond customer service!! You saved my sanity, and quite possibly our marriage (kidding on that part 😂).THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Highly recommend if you're in need of repairs! Don't waste your $ on sub standard overpriced service from the other guys, Encore is where it's at!!!
