I am very displeased! We were quoted a price to have our air ducts cleaned and when the technician came out, he then changed the quote to TRIPLE the amount and there was added cost for mileage that we were never told about ahead of time as well. 10/10 will not be using this company in the future

Trent was very thorough and did a great job cleaning my duct work and explaining his process. Happy that i scheduled the service and would recommend to anybody looking for duct cleaning services.
i'm looking forward to the improved air quality in my 110 year old house that had probably never had the duct work cleaned prior to this service.

Highly recommend. Trent was highly professional and courteous (and didn't try to high-pressure, "worst case scenario" upsell us).

The last 3 duct cleaning services we had come out tried to upsell us as soon as they got all their gear in the house and took a glance in the vents, but - for some reason - seemed to be a little surprised and frustrated when they were shown the door promptly after they refused to perform the cleaning for the agreed upon price.

This happened three times with three different companies. I was starting to lose all faith in humanity (or at least, Minnesota duct cleaning companies).

The cleaning we requested was done - and done very well - by a courteous, speedy, and thorough professional. No nonsense. Very reasonable price. Clean air.

Jay and Trent exceeded all expectations in every way. The last company we use we ended up in a dispute with the Better Business Bureau because of a terrible experience and this company made us feel like there are good people in the world again. They were smart, professional, clean, and took their shoes off in my home, which is very important to us. They cleaned each duct And explained every step which was so fabulous to know exactly why and what they were doing what they were doing. If you need a good service, this is the place to stop because they are absolutely fabulous in every way and I couldn’t recommend them more

I reached out to Essential Clean as another company cancelled on me last minute and I really needed the service completed as soon as possible. Trent came out and did a phenomenal job and even stayed later than expected to ensure the job was completed. Thank you for your prompt response and taking great care of my home.

These people are a scam. Do not use them for anything. I was scrolling through Facebook one day and I seen an ad about duct cleaning. So I messaged the gal that placed the ad. She proceeded to tell me that her husband was just starting out his business and they had some openings. I told her the size of my home and she quoted me at $219. This was a Friday afternoon by the way. Well she tells me they can be here Monday morning at 9am. I then started feeling a bit weird about the situation and asked if I could see proof of insurance and proof that they were a real business and not a scam. She told me the name of the business was Crystal solutions and she tells me that they will show all of the proof to me when they arrive Monday. Well I declined because it just didn't seem right to me. Then I start receiving texts from the supposed tech guy in the field telling me that the office lady double booked them and he was wondering if Tuesday morning would work for me. I told him no and explained that I thought it was a scam. He proceeded to call me and leave a very rude message about how they were not a scam. I texted him back and said if your guy wants to do this then he needs to show me proof when he gets here and I will not pay over the $219 quoted. So this guy shows up Tuesday morning a half hour late. I had cones blocking my driveway due to seal coating and he drove around the cones through the seal coating. I opened the door and he first says, geez I thought the cones were for us. Like I didn't want them there. He was smooth with his words and explained that the women I first spoke with was actually a third party that they use to acquire jobs because they are so busy in the field that they don't have time to find jobs. He told me the real name of the business and explained that he has to explain this to everyone because people always think there a scam. I believed him and let him in to take a look at my HVAC system. He then comes back with an estimate for $419 dollars saying that my blower motor was clogged and that it would stop working very soon. So I agreed to pay the $419 and asked him if he needed cach or card. He said cash. So I had to run to the bank while he worked on the blower motor and cleaned the ducts. My son was home and witnessed all of this. I returned home about 45 minutes later and I pull in our detached garage and he walks right in there and says well I got it all finished and I got to get to the next job. He tells me the receipt is on the counter. I thanked the guy and he hurried out. I figured he was just hurrying because he had to get to the next job. Well I get to the porch of my house and I noticed the front step was broke. I go in my house and there was a work order with my signature forged on it and my son starts telling me he was moving things and slamming and knocking things over and that he even broke a leg off our couch. I look around and all the vents are not put back on then I go look at the furnace blower motor and there was a thin layer of dust on the motor and everything else in the furnace. I put my finger on the blower motor and the dust wiped off in that spot. Indicating to me nothing was even touched inside the furnace. My son tells me he would walk into a room for like a minute and never go back in that room. So he removed my vents and that was all. I then look in the vents with the help of my phone and I took pictures of all sorts of debris. Clearly they were not touched. I instantly text the guy telling him to bring my money back. I told him if he didn't I would call the police and take him to court. I even called his boss and explained the situation and he tells me that his guy has pictures of the work he did which were supposed to be shown to me upon job completion. They refused to do anything about it. So now I have to take these people and there company to civil court. I was scammed by these people and please don't make my mistake and hire them for anything.

Very friendly and professional company to work with. All the staff provided great customer service. They explained everything they were doing a took before and after photos. Vents are super clean and we can breath in fresh air. Would highly recommend to you all.

Essential Clean exceeded expectations in every way possible. They arrived 10 minutes early then inspected my HVAC System+Dryer Vent. They had several suggestions following inspection, which did bring up the price from my initial quote of $249.99, but as they explained, it was my choice whether to add on or not. I am so glad I went with there suggestions because my dryer vent was damaged, and clogged which makes makes it potential Fire Hazard. My Dryer/Vent needed to be fixed first to ensure it would withstand a professional cleaning, and now my dryer not only looks new, it runs like it's new too. I will use Essential Clean in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of air duct cleaning & maintenance

I want to start out by saying I am very impressed with Trent as a technician. He was put in a tough situation as I felt the communication leading up to our appt was not up to par.

I was quoted a day earlier this week, to which we had to move to Friday by their request. The person texting us seemed like a scammer due to the spelling errors, etc. so I actually thought I was being scammed. Thankfully the owner or someone from the company called me and explained, which I was grateful for. They are a legit company with years of experience.

Come Friday, I was asked if I was ok with a delayed time, a little after our original time slot. I was fine with this, but took the afternoon off work to be home for when they arrived. Unfortunately, Trent (due to traffic and far location before us) was 3 hours late so I wasted the time off work. I wanted to cancel after this, but he came anyway and did a nice job. He explained everything to us and actually told us we had a fire hazard / bad clog in our laundry room so I am very thankful we kept the service.

Overall, I will call them again for services because of our experience with Trent, but I do hope some of these logistics issues can be addressed and improved.

Edit 11/23: found multiple screws missing from our vents, meaning they were never put back properly. Also had metal shavings all over the flooring. Never received photos of before and after like promised.

We had a wonderful experience with Essential Clean. Trent walked through the whole house with us and explained the process and was very transparent with the pricing (which was comparable to other quotes we received in the past.) He was respectful with our spaces and left them clean. We both work from home and Trent worked with us to make sure the noise from the generator was in a space that didn't affect our work. We will definitely use them in the future.

Trent cleaned and sanitized our ducts and placed a new dryer vent. He was thorough, kind and did a fantastic job. The air feels fresh already! I appreciated the time stamp photos and videos he text. We will definitely be calling Essential Clean again.

Honest, reliable, totally worth the monay -- we will be recommending this company to all pir friends and family. Trent made our home clean and safe for our kids!!! There were so many things wrong in our 1939 farm house ducting (from the 80's). He cleaned and fixed it all, got rid of all the mold and even found an issue from the last HVAC maintenance we had done. He told us the other company is liable for the faulty "fix" but he would gladly speak to them on our behalf. Thank you to Trent and team for the fantastic service.

Essential Clean is the real deal!!! I suffer from very painful allergy symptoms and I seemed to be allergic to everything, or so I thought. I was referred by my brother in law go ahead used them about a month prior. I scheduled an appointment with their very friendly office staff, and my technician was Trent. He was very polite, knowledgeable, hard working, and precise in his work. he had spotted black mold that was beginning to build up and grow on the back of almost all my vent covers, and after he explained why this was a major cocer, he explained explained exactly what he had to do, how he had to do it, why it needed to be done, and how it would all combine to produce maximum results. He kept me very involved throughout the process so I was able to see exactly why he suggested the additional services he did and I watched first hand as he removed buckets full of dust, dirt, and debris out of my ducts. My initial price of 249.99 did go up substantially after inspection, due to my HVAC systems specific needs, but after watching the process, and seeing and feeling the results of breathing clean air consistently I would have paid much more than I did. the service was an investment in myself, and my health in both mind and body.
