We’ve had Chris grind a couple of stumps a few years apart and both times were excellent experiences. I recommend him to everyone that asks about stump removal. Very professional, both times the “estimate” was the exact cost and values your time. Without a doubt we will be calling again if we have another stump to go in the future.

I love it when a small business exceeds your expectations. Chris was quick to respond for a quote and worked us into the schedule right away. Wow! This business defines excellence in customer service! Starting from the initial contact to service completion, the process was seamless. I was contacted within 24 hours with a quote and the job was completed the following day. Communication throughout the process was superb.
Pricing was transparent and upfront, and even when we underestimated the scope of the work, the team was friendly and professional to work with. They removed about 30 stumps and even did a little extra work which was a pleasant surprise. Definitely would hire again!

Chris, with Bye Bye Stumps, came out to grind a stump that was located closely between our garden and patio in our backyard toward the end of summer.

After we were left hanging by the person that cut down the Tree itself, Chris quickly came out to provide us an estimate for the grinding, mulch removal, and dirt refill. The next week, he was back out to do the work. The quick turnaround was super helpful with the landscaping we had planned for after its removal.

For the work itself, Chris listened to all our concerns: watching out for wires, protecting our yard, respecting our neighbors, and more. When it came to grinding day, Chris was happy to show me what he was doing. And he was like a sculptor with the machine. He didn't just crudely drive it into the ground to tear everything up. He closely followed the more far reaching roots to cause as little disturbance as possible, and then dug down deeper near the main berth of the stump. Everything looked really clean after he hauled the mulch and packed down new dirt for us. He even tossed down some grass seed to help get the new lawn started! (In the pictures, we had help with the landscaping to fix up the patio and garden that we had torn up to prep for the tree and stump removal, but the ground between shows how clean it was left.)

We'd be happy to have Bye Bye Stumps out again to help us in the future.

Five stars. This company was extremely professional from start to finish. Communication was clear, they showed up exactly when scheduled, and the crew worked efficiently and respectfully on the property. The job was completed exactly as promised and the cleanup was excellent. It’s refreshing to work with a company that takes professionalism this seriously. Highly recommend.

Got a mass mailing. Called it and talked to him, he came by and gave a great bid. Never came never called. I called 2 different times and texted. Left on read like an ex girlfriend. Today I got this mailing. I’m now like a month and a half behind schedule. Thanks to whoever dropped the ball on that.

Highly recommend Forrest for tree planting and tree dropping services. He and his crew did a great job dropping a tall ash tree and planting six arbor vitae in our backyard. Plus Forrest is a great guy!

Trees by Forrest has successfully helped us with many tree projects. Communication, timeliness, and scheduling has been wonderful. We have recommended them to many friends and neighbors.

I had a total of 4 trees removed, 3 ash trees and a maple tree. I also had a very large and established maple trimmed and cleaned up. It had not been trimmed in 20 years or so and had a large branch overhanging the house. Forest and his team did a really nice job on this tree which is the biggest tree in my front yard. It has a nice high canopy now with a more symmetrical look.

Forrest was recommended to me by a friend who has had his trees trimmed by Forrest and his crew for years.

Forrest is really knowledgeable about trees and can also assist with acquiring trees from local wholesale nurseries.

BEWARE, very disappointed with Forrest, he came over, talked a big game, showed up late left early. One of his machines broke down after just one tree, they did some work left early and promised he would come back to finish, I paid him in good faith, big mistake on my part, I trusted him to come back. He keeps saying he will. It’s been over nine month’s .
I am easy-going. This is the first negative review I have ever written. I feel totally ripped off and do not recommend them at all. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Forrest just completed a second large tree removal project for me. I highly recommend his company. Their work is very neat (they spared my lilies which were growing under this last tree) and everything was picked up beautifully. Forrest is so easy to work with!
