Quality of work was top-notch. Communication was great, pricing competitive and the crew was respectful of time and place. Flooring installation went quickly, drywall work is unnoticeable (that’s a good thing), electrical and plumbing met all my needs and kitchen cabinets look spectacular. Jake and his awesome team built an amazing barn slide for our orchard (Fall Harvest Orchard). Our customers rave about how nice it looks and how fun and fast the new slide is! It turned out even better than we imagined. Thanks again!

Kolar Construction just refaced our deck and I can’t recommend them enough! The work was done right and looks beautiful! I also can’t believe how fast they got it done. Each night they neatly packed up all the equipment and materials in my yard so it didn’t look like a big mess! The guys Jake has on his crew are as nice and professional as he is! I will definitely be recommending him to any and everyone as well as using them again for more projects around the house!

Jake Kolar and his team did a master bath remodeling and kitchen counter and tile backsplash in our kitchen. The men who work for Jake are respective, ON TIME, clean up after each work day and do a very professional job. I highly recommend them.

I had water seeping in my basement from an addition to a neighbors new roof. I called Kolar construction and Jake came out the next day. He sent me my bid within a couple of days and started work the following week.
The workers arrived promptly in the morning. They worked quickly and are very courteous.
They revised the landscaping, added class 5, then black dirt, grass seed, and replanted plants that they had removed prior. Communication was top notch. As this is newly landscaped, it’s rained only once. I investigated and the basements dry!

Jake and team were professional, responsive and did quality work on our basement. We will use them again for a deck and continued house improvements. Honest, hard workers at a fair price - great team!

Jake and his team did a phenomenal job on an addition on our home. Throughout the whole process, Jake did a good job setting expectations, work was great, and cost was exactly as quoted. I really liked that a majority of the work was done by his company, as opposed to subcontractors, which made me feel like there was continuity between stages of the project. The project foreman, Mike, was a pleasure and ensured that I was “sure” about the few decisions I had to make. Also, shout out to Chris who noticed I didn’t love how some trim came out and made sure that I understood my options.

There were a few minor changes that came up, but Jake was accommodating and more than fair (e.g., adding on gutters, putting on a storm door, redoing some trim).

Kolar construction continues to deliver great service and has truly smart team members. Not everything fits as it should or parts go missing from products being installed such as bathroom doors or cabinets. They have done some creative substitutions to make everything look great. I recommend them for all types of projects and remodels.

I had the pleasure of working with Jake and his team on a small home improvement project. He came to the house and laid out exactly what needed to be done, was quick to respond with a quote and was terrific with communications throughout the process. On the day work was to begin, he had a professional crew there as expected, again - communicated exactly what they planned to do and completed the work timely and professionally, including a thorough cleanup of the worksite. Jake was the only contractor to reach back out to me out of the 5 I contacted. I had a ceiling patch job and a bathtub replacement I needed done. Some contractors maybe thought the job wasn't worth it, but Jake was responsive and gave an honest quote. The work was completed to our satisfaction and timely. I will be calling Kolar Construction again!

We absolutely LOVED working with Jake and the Kolar Construction crew! They were very professional and thorough. Wonderful craftsmanship! We have 4 small children and they took time to clean up the job site at the end of each work day. Our 3-season porch and attached deck came out better than we could’ve imagined! We chose Jake Kohler construction because his bin came in at a good price and he lived in Del near us. But what we got was more than we expected. He sent his crew to do all the jobs for us exactly when he said he would. They arrived on time. They did quality work and they cleaned up before they left. I love my new laundry room and would recommend Jake Kolar to anyone.

We also asked if they could install flooring in a different room while they were there and they were able to get that done as well for a fair price.
