I had Matt's come out to look at replacing an existing gas line for a new stove. The technicians were polite, professional, and arrived within the timeframe quoted. However, Matt's price was quadruple what I ended up paying White Bear Plumbing to do for the exact same job ($875 versus over $3800). He wanted $3200 to replace the line and then the remaining balance to be paid when they came back at a later date to hook up the gas stove. I had already received the $875 quote from White Bear Plumbing and when I asked why his price was so much more expensive, he said he has more than $800 in materials for my job. Even if this were true that would mean I am paying over $3k in labor (to run a gas line 15 feet) which is absurd. I gave them the $100 trip charge and declined the work. The reason I had Matt's come out is they said they could quote and complete the job the same day where White Bear was booked out a few weeks. Expensive lesson learned. And yes, White Bear Plumbing is also licensed, bonded, and insured and the work has a 1 year warranty. However, they didn't carry an iPad to quote the job, just a pen and paper.

You will be able to find a company that is less expensive and is honest about their pricing. They won't tell you the minimum charge for a job is $275 until after you have paid $75 to come out to your house for the site visit. I called up and asked for a quote and the office manager, Amber, said she couldn't give me a quote. When the technician arrived at my house, I spoke with him on the phone and told him everything that needed to be done (Add a shutoff valve to a gas line, $60 worth of parts, tops). My wife was quoted $495 for the job. Shame on me for not asking the plumber what the price would be. Shame on me for not having my wife call me with the quote. Shame on Matt's Plumbing for taking advantage of a naïve person for a 40 minute job. When I called to ask about why the price was so high, I was told your wife signed off. I told Amber I was the customer. I asked if they are in the business of taking advantage of people and she said, "Gotcha".

Nice guys that came out to check my garbage disposal; however, the prices were 2-3 times other quotes I received. Per another google reviewer I went to Ron the Sewer Rat and was happy with their service and prices!

The service was excellent. They were very professional. Excellent communication. They told me exactly what they were going to do, and how much it would cost. I was very happy with them. Joe is very knowledgeable took the time to explain everything to me.

I had a completely clogged shower drain, so I called Matt’s Plumbing Solutions and they had someone out within 2 hours. Bryon was great at diagnosing the issue and explaining it! Even though it was a grueling 2.5 hour job, he was very friendly and knowledgeable along the way. Definitely will be using MPS again!

I woke up one morning last week flushed the toilet and water seeped out from under the toilet. I called around and got nothing but voicemails. Then I contacted Matt’s. They had someone out within the hour and it was determined that my main line was clogged. A couple ours later they came back with the big equipment and had the line not only cleaned and jetted. They also did a camera inspection to ensure there wasn’t a more serious problem. The line looked fine. The front office scheduling was awesome and their techs were kind, knowledgeable and punctual. I would definitely use them again should the need arise!

We had Bryon and Chris out to inspect our main sewer line in a time crunch situation. They were able to come out quickly, assess what needed to be done, and come back to complete the work the same week. They were efficient, easy to work with, and I am so happy with the results!! Highly recommend!!!

Very long story short, we found out when selling our home that there was a break in our line out to the sewer and there was no front cleanout to be found. After having 4 other plumbers out to our house and getting nowhere with schedules and quotes, Matt came out, got us quoted and did the clean out same day. Two days later, the sewer line was fixed! We could not be happier with service we received from Matt and his crew (plus our dog, Sonny, adored him!). As we move to our new home, we’ll keep Matt’s number handy for any future plumbing needs!

Matt fixed our frozen, very clogged drain in the kitchen. He was here within 2 hours of calling, quick and efficient service. Friendly with our dog who loves to "help". Would use their service again, highly recommend!

Joe came out and fixed a faucet that was leaking from a newly installed washer. (My fault, I cracked the sucker trying to get the old ones off.) Joe was very professional, started trying the easy and cheap fixes first, but once we found the Crack, he explained the price to fix and what was needed. I will admit the price was a little high, but at the same time, you get what you pay for in these cases. I haven't had any more issues, unlike when I used a handyman. Will use again.

There’s nothing like having your finished basement flood with sewer water and learning the culprit is a severely-compromised sewer line, needing full repair/replacement. Jim and Matt made what is a painfully spendy, but necessary, process as smooth as possible. I’m very grateful they were able to line my existing pipe after several spot repairs, to avoid any digging. I’d absolutely recommend these folks to anyone. Thank you!

I called and left a voicemail on Sunday afternoon about a leak I noticed in my crawl space. I had the option to call the emergency line but did not need it. I got a call from a receptionist right after the company opened up Monday morning, scheduled the appointment and had a tech at my house by 10am. Jim diagnosed the issue very quickly and had the repair done and cleaned up within an hour. I definitely recommend!

Sewer drain was backing up into the path of least resistance which happened to be the bathtub. I called 1st am and they were able to get someone out by early afternoon. They communicated a tentative appointment, then confirmed, texted when they were in route, called me with the assessment and a plan, confirmed repair was completed and explained what caused the problem. Everyone I dealt with was professional and I didn't once think that they were taking advantage of my situation. This is my rental property and I live 1500 miles away. I rely on dependable and honest contractors when I have property problems. I'm definitely keeping their contact information for future reference. Highly recommended!

Jim responded to the call quickly and was able to trouble shoot when they didn’t initially have the right size water heater. The work was done well and quickly. They even took my call the next day and provided information about trouble shooting some low water pressure. Highly recommend this company.
