Matt fixed our frozen, very clogged drain in the kitchen. He was here within 2 hours of calling, quick and efficient service. Friendly with our dog who loves to "help". Would use their service again, highly recommend!

Joe came out and fixed a faucet that was leaking from a newly installed washer. (My fault, I cracked the sucker trying to get the old ones off.) Joe was very professional, started trying the easy and cheap fixes first, but once we found the Crack, he explained the price to fix and what was needed. I will admit the price was a little high, but at the same time, you get what you pay for in these cases. I haven't had any more issues, unlike when I used a handyman. Will use again.

There’s nothing like having your finished basement flood with sewer water and learning the culprit is a severely-compromised sewer line, needing full repair/replacement. Jim and Matt made what is a painfully spendy, but necessary, process as smooth as possible. I’m very grateful they were able to line my existing pipe after several spot repairs, to avoid any digging. I called and left a voicemail on Sunday afternoon about a leak I noticed in my crawl space. I had the option to call the emergency line but did not need it. I got a call from a receptionist right after the company opened up Monday morning, scheduled the appointment and had a tech at my house by 10am. Jim diagnosed the issue very quickly and had the repair done and cleaned up within an hour. I definitely recommend!

Matt's Plumbing Solutions came highly recommended to us from a good friend. Matt came out to give an estimate to replace a very old toilet and vanity in our South Minneapolis home. In the process he looked at some plumbing beneath the bathroom that we have questions about. Matt was able to provide excellent information and solutions to our problems at a reasonable price. Scheduling with the team was easy. They came out and replaced the two fixtures as well as most of the piping beneath. They did an amazing job! When the toilet cracked a couple weeks later due to an issue with the old original flange, Matt came out right away to fix the problem. He and the team were friendly and I felt very comfortable having them in our home. We are new to Minneapolis and it gives me great peace of mind to know we have someone we can trust in the future. Sewer drain was backing up into the path of least resistance which happened to be the bathtub. I called 1st am and they were able to get someone out by early afternoon. They communicated a tentative appointment, then confirmed, texted when they were in route, called me with the assessment and a plan, confirmed repair was completed and explained what caused the problem. Everyone I dealt with was professional and I didn't once think that they were taking advantage of my situation. This is my rental property and I live 1500 miles away. I rely on dependable and honest contractors when I have property problems. I'm definitely keeping their contact information for future reference. Highly recommended!

Jim responded to the call quickly and was able to trouble shoot when they didn’t initially have the right size water heater. The work was done well and quickly. They even took my call the next day and provided information about trouble shooting some low water pressure. Highly recommend this company.

Matt came out to give us a quote on replacing the gas pipe in our home. The pipe was over 60 years old and had small leaks at the joints. He was on time for the appointment and was able to schedule our work quickly. On the scheduled day, we received a text message from Jim, along with his picture when he was on the way. Jim also called to let us know what time he would arrive. The work was done quickly and very well. Jim and his partner did a great job of cleaning up when the job was done. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Matt's Plumbing responded to my service call quickly even though it was late on a Friday. Matt, the owner, was very courteous and professional. He took the time to explain what the issue was with my water heater and softener. He showed me exactly what would need to be done to remedy the situation and solved the problem quickly and efficiently. He also made sure everything was cleaned up after he was done, including vacuuming around the area. I would definitely recommend him and his company.

All of my interactions with Matt's plumbing employees were positive! From the initial phone call to Connor coming out to look at our pipe, everyone was kind and professional. Connor was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the issue and how he was going to fix it. The quote for 3 feet of pipe, 3 fittings and 1.5 hours of labor was ~760 bucks which I thought sounded super high so chose to say no to having the work done and paid the $95 fee for them coming out (pretty standard for the industry). I ended up getting the same work done for $188 from Dad's plumbing a few days later. Nothing against Matt's Plumbing as everyone I interacted with was great but pricing seems a tad high.

We had Matt's plumbing come out to fix a pipe that froze and broke the winter of 2022-23. They were very expensive but insurance was going to cover the cost. He also replaced the outdoor water valve. The same pipe came apart this past winter again at the ProPress connection. We had Matt out to look at the problem. He denied that it had anything to do with his repair and wanted to charge us an exorbitant amount of money to move pipes.
We did some exploring and research. What we found is that he modified and put a stopcock shut off valve in 6 inch exterior wall.
Water does not passively drain through stopcock valves. So, even though we had water turned off and the valve open, the pipe froze and caused extensive damage.
We tried to contact Matt's plumbing and he never returned are message.
Lesson is: this company does not stand by its repairs and also you can find far more reasonable rates from more reputable companies.

Teddy arrived on time. Was extremely polite yet straight forward with what he was going to do. Got what we needed fixed and didn't try to sell us any unneeded services.

Absolutely amazing service! Our main drain access cap was dropped into the line by a previous contractor and ended up plugging our entire main drain line. 2 inches of water in the basement later…After calling, Matt’s was to our house in under an hour and had the cap out even faster! They had all the tools necessary for the job and most importantly were caring and helpful during an extremely stressful situation. I wound recommend them to any and everyone!
