I used Stinson Services last year for new siding on my house and now new windows and repairing/repainting water damage in my kitchen. The team at Stinson is helpful, respectful, patient and great communicators. They are talented at what they do, they like what they do and it shows. They are pleasant to work with in all phases of the project, from estimating, working with insurers and finalizing the project and payment. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get work done on their home. I've worked with Mark on all my projects and can say that he looks out for his clients and has their interests in mind. Five stars.

Did my roof this year, awesome company. Stinson did my cousins home (roof, siding) in 2017. We love to refer them as they always come up big. Worked with my insurance company and was aggressive at getting my roof done and covered. Initially my insurance only felt I had minor damage, Stinson met them at my house twice and was able to get my entire roof covered. Mike was great as my main contact, as was the entire crew.

My wife and I decided that it was time to replace the roof, siding and insulation in our home. The home was a foreclosure and still had the original shingles and cedar siding from 1986. Needless to say, this was going to be an expensive project. I got quotes from a few contractors, including Stinson Services Inc. By far, Stinson Services were among the better quotes we had and they were associated with the company I work for through a system called MERCS. After talking with Ryan for a while, my wife and I decided to use Stinson Services for the job. During the process, the siding professionals showed up on time in the morning and left around 5 pm every weekday. It was nice to know that they respected our time and didn't work late into the night. The siding professionals were very helpful with little features I wanted to add or had questions about. The roofers seemed like they were never there, since they finished the 3000 ft^2 roof in a couple of days.

Overall, Stinson Services treated us with respect and stood behind their work. Eric, the foreman, helped take care of any problems that came up and informed us about material delivery dates, project status updates and anything that we would need to know about. My wife and I would do business with them again in a heartbeat! If you’re reading this Ryan, I think the next project might be a stamped concrete patio.....would love to talk about that soon!

I obtained three quotes from Twin Cities roofing contractors for a new roof due to hail damage in Spring 2022. The three quotes were between $12K to 14.5K for a modestly sized 1.5 story home in Minneapolis. Stinson was the highest quote, but their sales person Tom was friendly, confident, and had a plan for the ice dam problem we faced. I felt Stinson had a good reputation in the area - so I verbally committed to Stinson.

Several weeks later when they came by for a walk-through and asked to review the Insurance agency's documentation. Tom all of a sudden felt he underestimated the size of the roof by 7 square (***700 square feet***). Mind you - Stinson charges ~$650/square. Our pricing estimate went from $14.5K to $20K - after I had sent the other roofing contractors away and it was approaching the end of the roofing season.

Feeling pressed for time, I felt I didn't have a choice. I sat down with Tom, and we negotiated a middle ground of $18K - still dramatically higher than the original estimate.

The roof went up in a timely fashion and the crew was great. I have no reason to believe they didn't do quality work, but that doesn't make up for the bait and switch feeling I am left with (not to mention a palate with 3 square of extra material (that I paid for) which was sitting on my sidewalk upon completion of the job and picked up by Stinson a week later.

We've used Stinson Services a few times in the past and most recently, a few days ago to replace a skylight. As new homeowners, my husband and I really appreciate that Ryan took the time - as he always does - to explain and to work with us in making sure that the job was completed correctly, efficiently and that we were happy with the end result. We've never been disappointed and already have them lined up for another project this Fall.

I would definitely recommend Stinson. Very professional and responsive. They do quality work and let us know what the plan was every step of the way. They did a huge project on our house, a lot to manage (roof, siding, gutters and more). We had major hail damage and they handled it seamlessly, even worked everything out with insurance. I needed my roof cleared of snow Called Stinson Services. Heidi was very helpful. Told my pricing and arranged for them to come the next day. Workers did a great job - cleaned the roof and removed snow away from house. I am very happy with the work and especially with the prompt and courteous service. I would recommend them to everyone.

Stinson mechanical was awesome! They were very professional and polite. Got the job done in one day , and we were back to warm cozy home in no time. Would definitely recommend them, and will use them in the future.

Customer Service was outstanding from the entire exceptional team. With a special shout-out to Jim while representing the company, he personally advocated on my behalf. Always patient with my endless questions and tolerant of my vascillating color choices, he remained a knowledgeable, constant resource. And terrific Hector who oversaw his roofing team, was a consummate perfectionist, ensuring a superior project. I entrusted my new roof to Stinson Services and am thrilled with the outcome!

Stinson did some roof repairs for us needed as a result of some mold found in our attic. They did an excellent job. They did even more than predicted without changing the bid on us. They were hard working and thorough. We appreciated seeing photos of the process afterwards. They were a pleasure to work with and we would use them again if we are need for future roofing projects.

We hired Stinson to install new siding, a new roof, and gutters as a result of hail damage. Every employee was responsive, respectful, and informative. The work was done quickly and the quality was great! Can't recommend them enough.

We had a hailstorm come through our area and I was concerned about our roof and possible hail damage. I contacted Stinson and expressed my concerns. The project manager Aaron Ouellette promptly returned my call and sent someone over within a few days to inspect our roof. The gentleman sat down with us and discussed what was needed. We had a quote shortly after that and the information was sent directly to our insurance company. The work was scheduled to be done in a timely manner and only took 2 days to complete once it was started. All of the insurance contact was also done by Stinson. I would highly recommend Stinson. Aaron Ouellette was professional and awesome to work with.

There were some insulation issues in my attic. I called Stinson Services for an inspection. Tom came over and did a thorough inspection. Moreover, he educated me regarding ceiling, attic, and roof of my house. The insulation work was done very quickly. The technician, Hector, was very kind and very helpful. He was always available for my questions. The recent snow evaluated the quality of their work. Two days after the snow, with the highest temperature around 32 degree, my roof was still covered by snow while all my neighbors’ houses had almost no snow on the roofs. I highly recommend Stinson Services.

We hired Stinson Services to replace the gutters on our home. Everything was handled professionally and communication was timely. They were very thorough in the estimate and gave us several suggestions and options, which ended up being very helpful and ultimately, we saved some money on the project.

My insurance company requested an inspection regarding the age of our roof and its remaining life expectancy. I called Stinson Services and spoke with Thor Josefson to set up the appointment and requested the need for a documented roof report. Thor was a true professional whom answered all my questions with expertise and swiftly coordinated an inspection time. He sent out Jim Anderson to do the inspection and I got the same quality of professionalism and expertise. Both Thor and Jim provided elite level customer service and I highly recommend their services to anyone. When it’s time to replace my roof I will be calling Stinson Services and asking to talk to Thor!

I was very pleased with the way Luke, from Stinson, helped me repair my deck. Stinson let me keep the cost down by letting me purchase the materials and do the clean up of the old boards removed from the deck. In one day, Luke replaced the boards that probably would have taken me the better part of a summer to do. His skilled labor was well worth the reasonable price we negotiated. He even did follow up later and stopped by to fix a couple little things I had noticed. I highly recommend Stinson for any of your construction projects around the house.

I can't say enough good things about working with Stinson Services in Edina, MN. From the initial consultation with the salesperson, to the office staff, site job manager and actual workers, it was a great experience all around! They worked closely with our insurance company on costs to replace our roof and siding damaged by hail and coordinated with our gutter company for that replacement as well. The workers were extremely courteous and did a great clean-up job of the site as well. I'd hire them again without question!

Called Stinson at the recommendation of my realtor. Wanted to determine if my roof was healthy enough to move ahead with installation of solar panels. When estimator arrived, he already knew that a hailstorm had been in my area in the last three months. He did a preliminary inspection, then guided me toward filing a claim with my insurance agent. He continued to act as my guide/advocate in interacting with the claims agent. Result: I got a brand-new roof for the price of my $1K deductible. I'm set for life.

Great communication throughout the process. They handled all permits, inspections, etc. All of their financial docs have squared precisely with my insurance claim, for easy tracking. They used quality materials, excellent workmanship, and did work in timely fashion. For small additional fee, they moved a bathroom vent opening, allowing me to increase the number of solar panels from 18 to 26. Great experience with fine people! I'm hoping to use them again next spring for some siding work.

I had my first major home improvement project through Stinson Services (new roof and siding). After getting a few different bids I quickly realized that they were the easy choice. Overall, I was very pleased with the speed in which they completed the project and the quality of the work. Ryan was a pleasure to work with and followed through on all his commitments. Stinson complete our roof 2 year ago. We were having some issues after this rainy spring. Hector came out to check and did an amazing job fixing some minor issues. He went above and beyond. We are thrilled with their service. Highly recommend.

We hit the jackpot finding Stinson Services! After having some roof and facia damage, we also decided it was time to update our siding and wanted to do something outside-the-box. Heidi came and had a design suggestion when she arrived. We LOVE it!!! The roofing color and siding are something we would never had imagined but we get compliments on it by all our neighbors! The inside people AND installers were all EXCELLENT! Very responsive and quality team. Cannot recommend this company enough.
