Solid Rock Construction is the kind of company you hope to find but rarely do—their customer service is personal, compassionate, and deeply invested in people. Less than one year ago, in our family’s darkest season, as our 4-year-old son was in his final days with brain cancer and we were displaced for mold remediation, Harlan, Josh, and their team rallied around us and lifted a crushing burden. They didn’t just handle the framing, insulation, electrical, plumbing, and sheetrock with excellent attention to detail; they poured out love, time, and sacrificial labor so I could spend those precious hours with my son instead of working in the basement. Their generosity—their prayers, their offer of a place for our family to stay, and their coordination with trusted partners—shows they care as much about the people and community they serve as they do about high-quality construction. Our family is indelibly grateful, and I emphatically recommend Solid Rock Construction to anyone looking for a company that truly lives up to its name.
Great staff and location. Union business with years of construction expertise.
Knowingly installed inoperable windows as part of the MAC program - 1 window still needs repairs almost 1 year later. Shockingly bad, but they are quick to make excuses because customers ‘didn’t have to pay anything.’
I was unfortunately locked in to using Crossroads Construction by the Metropolitan Airport Council (MAC) noise mitigation program. They are arrogant, don't return phone calls, show up on time, clean up after themselves or otherwise behave in a professional manner. I do not recommend them and suggest you do whatever possible to keep them out of your home. After months of attempts at resolution I was left with an unsightly finished product with poor craftmanship. Avoid Crossroads at all costs.
We also were bound to work with Crossroads Construction for the MAC noise mitigation program. Communication is not their strong suit. I confirmed with the office the day before they were to start work that they were coming. They didn't show up the next day. We arranging our schedules so we would be available. When I phoned Jake was arrogant and told me this was a big job and they would be there the following day. No apology. In addition, they caused damage to our dining room table, and the response was it is not their problem. If you have a choice, think about how you want to be treated as a customer and find another company who aligns with your expectations.
The windows in our apartment complex in Highland Village were all replaced with expertise. The workers were professional And diligent. I highly recommend this company.
