We had Kuhl’s Contracting install self-regulating heat cable in our gutters.
Initially, Brooke came to see the potential project, identify/clarify our needs, and give an estimate. She was very easy to talk to, really understood what I was saying, and provided thoughtful, expert advice on how we would best complete this project.
Today, Paul came to do the install. Like Brooke, Paul was also very easy to talk to, very friendly, very interested in making sure that his understanding of how the project was to be completed was also my understanding of how the project was to be completed. After the install, he walked around the house with me to show me the completed work and explained how the cable was laid, explained how I would operate the system, modified any outlets and plug-ins to our mutual satisfaction. My husband and I are VERY impressed with the communication and quality of work from Paul. Thank you Brooke and Paul!

Kuhl did a great job replacing our roof, window wraps, and gutters and installing heat tape. The various crews were hard working, efficient, respectful, and friendly. I want to give a shout out to Paul for installing the heat tape and clearly explaining how it will function and to Tavo for completing a long list of miscellaneous painting and carpentry tasks to cap off the project. Ben, the project manager was in close communication the entire time and ensured a smooth and efficient project. Thank you to the entire Kuhl team for a job well done! Five Stars! Recommended!

Provided me a fantastic roofing experience. Staff was always available to answer questions and was super-helpful. On-site team worked SO HARD to get the job done quickly. They left my yard in the same condition they found it in, which is pretty remarkable. Can't recommend highly enough!!!

Paul came out to install heat tape on an additional area of our roof. Not only did he do a professional and thoughtful job, he reworked our existing product which had been irregularly placed following a new roof installation. He also blew off our entire roof! All at no additional charge!
Upon leaving he left a business card and thanked me for the opportunity.

Steve Kuhl and his staff are real professionals. I recently had a squirrel problem in my attic. I called several mitigation companies who gave me ridiculous quotes. Kuhl had provided me a beautiful new roof a few years ago so I called Steve and he immediately sent out a great technician to assess the situation and provide a great solution. It is one thing to have a great new roof but even more important to know that you can rely on a company like Kuhl when follow up service is required. We highly recommend Kuhl for your roof or construction project.

I contracted Kuhl's to remove a chimney from my older, St. Paul home. Gustavo (Tavo) performed the work, and I am incredibly pleased with his workmanship and professionalism, and the result of the job. I feel that the demolition was performed with the absolute minimum disruption to the surrounding finish of my house, he took great care with the plastic barriers to keep the interior of my house clean, and removed the chimney in a timely manner. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the work. Super friendly guy.

Another great job by the Kuhl Team! Shortly after having my roof restored last Spring we had an August hail storm. My insurance Company sent their adjuster to assess the damage and submitted an estimate, but also encouraged me to have my contractor submit their own estimate. Kuhl's Team prepared a very specific and detailed estimate, and working closely with the Company resulted in about a 25% increase in the settlement. Materials delivered Monday and the crew worked from 7 to 7 Tuesday and Wednesday finishing noon Thursday. Ben was supervisor for the project and was terrific. The Crew was fun to have around and worked perfectly together as a team; 4 teams of 2, and the 9th took care of logistics. It never occurred to me that putting on a new roof would reach a high quotient of satisfaction...but this is different; it is a work of Art.

We are the sixth home on our block to have our Cedar shake roof renewed by Kuh'sl over the past few years, and they all look great. Ben and Greg do excellent work and are very personable. Brook handles the scheduling and does a great job considering delays caused by weather or jobs that just take longer than anticipated. Last fall Ben also replaced our roof heating cable (extension cord quality previously installed by a well known home services company) with commercial grade cable which worked perfectly. Kuhl's has a waiting list, so best to get in the que, but you will have the best.

I have used Kuhl's Contracting twice. In 2021, I had ice dams removed from the roof and heat tape placed. The heat tape was very high quality and worked great over the last few years to prevent ice dams. I changed the gutter configuration this year and had the heat tape replaced to align with the new gutter layout. The worker was extremely kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Kuhl's Contracting.
