Mitch was on time and he did some measurements. My bill was $180 on top the Groupon I bought. We never wear shoes indoor. There was no heavily soiled area. He said he got to decide what was " heavily soiled". He also told me he has been in the business for more than 20 years. It's unbelievable this is the worst Groupon experience ever.

First of all, I will say that Mitch is communicative and punctual. He has that in his favor.
That's where the positive review ends.
I found his company via a Groupon, but what exactly did the groupon actually cover? The title of the groupon says three rooms. I only have one carpeted room in my home. Yet when Mitch arrived and ran some numbers, I was expected to pay 3x the amount of the groupon.
He said it was due to the required pretreating, the high traffic areas, and the pet urine.
Yes, in the fine print it does say that additional fees may apply, but what exactly is the rate of those additional fees? Mitch wouldn't tell me what I might expect to pay when we talked on the phone ahead of time, just that there would be additional fees.
When I pushed back at the increased price, asking what exactly I had paid for in the first place, he explained that the groupon only covers a basic carpet cleaning.
Buyer beware and all of that, but this whole thing felt like a bait and switch, where I thought I was buying one thing, but then was looped into buying an entirely different, additional thing.
I would advise against hiring Always Green Carpet Cleaning, unless you can get an in-writing, firm price ahead of time.

Same experience as the previous poster. I bought the 3 room cleaning Groupon. The provider came and then presented me with an additional invoice for $240, 4 times the cost of the Groupon. He claimed all kinds of stipulations that weren't presented to me on the phone, including the fact that there was an extra charge because it is a rental unit. I specifically told him I am the landlord and that the tenant had caused some issues. He was nasty. He wouldn't even do less work (fewer rooms) in order to complete the order.

I sent him packing. I then went online to cancel my order on Groupon and saw that he had already redeemed it. This is not an ethical business person. Beware!

Always Green Carpet Cleaning (DO NOT BUY THE GROUPON!!!!!!!!) came to my home because I bought the 3 Room Groupon. Firstly I only have 2 rooms that are carpeted. I called to reserve the service and provided them the Groupon Voucher Number OVER THE PHONE, which they redeemed before ever completing a service. He came out and quoted me $300 ON TOP of my Groupon. Said I needed pretreating and had urine stains from my cat in one room. I asked if I could have my carpet cleaned for the groupon I purchasex just a basic cleaning. He flat out said No. Said he could get in trouble for providing that service. He didn't even ask me if I wanted my living room done. Which had no urine stains. Unfortunate customer service, and overall what a shady scammy business. I told him sorry but I am not paying $300. Tried to call him back, to ask why he couldn't clean my living room. No answer. So sad. Would highly NOT RECOMMEND. BBB will definitely be getting a call. I spent all morning moving furniture, I am a disabled veteran just for Mitch to come over and brag about how he has over 27 years experience, and try to upsell a service that I already paid for. NOT COOL!

Extremely dishonest! DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS! I bought a Groupon for 4 bedrooms. DON’T give them the Groupon voucher over the phone if you give them business at all- which you shouldn’t. He mentioned a bio matter and heavy soil fee. I thought, “isn’t all a dirty carpet is is bio matter and heavy soil- if not that you have clean carpet” but I agreed, thinking there’d be a $20 addition or so. This was NOT the case. They just use Groupon as a non- refundable deposit and then quote an additional $450 for service instead of providing the service they promise over Groupon. Ridiculous. They wasted my time and their time for a $54 paid trip to my house. I’ll be reporting to the BBB!

Horrible experience! I received the Groupon as a gift due to just having a baby, and was excited to have my carpets cleaned. Mitch came in and told me it would cost $209 for two rooms, when I refused he told me I could pay $180 cash right now. I told him I just wanted to basic Groupon cleaning that I paid for but he refused. This is a scam. I'm so sad that I moved all my furniture for nothing. Do not buy the Groupon and do not contact this company. SCAM!

As everyone mentioned. I got scammed by Mitch too through a Groupon. Don't use him!!! I purchased a $60 groupon thinking the additional fees would be minor. After moving all my furniture off the carpets, Mitch came and quoted my $350 ($410 including the groupon). It was a complete scam. I went through with the service as I had already moved out all my furniture. He did the job in 30 minutes, and my carpets didn't look much different. As everyone else mentioned, this is a complete scam. He pulled the "I've been doing this for 40 years" card on me too. He lost all credibility with his poor job and absurd rates. You can find other great options.
