This used to be my happy place….not anymore. Their prices have gone up so much and they don’t match the traquil experiment they used to offer. I was in the store in the past week and I was approached by 3 people asking me if I needed help…made me feel uncomfortable as if they thought i was shoplifting. After that another person on the floor forcibly told me twice about the art fair they her hosting. They said it was replacing the uptown art fair, that’s a stretch. If I’ve ever needed help in the past I was able to just ask one of the workers otherwise it used to be a nice relaxing place you could go to not be bothered. Not sure what this family is doing with all the weird changes….how about make your workers happy by not forcing them to make a sale. From what I understand they don’t make commission…

Thanks so much to Rhonda for helping us out with our last minute wedding needs! She was patient and attentive to help us get the blue flowers we needed for a gorgeous wedding.

I’m so sad about an experience that I had with Bachmans that I cannot return to shop there. First of all, I went in to make an order for a very special event. There were two clerks (very nice and professional) working that day. It took me a long time to choose just the right arrangement for my friends on their 25th anniversary. The computer kept going offline and they apologized. I’m pretty patient, so it was not a problem. I’d say it took nearly 45 minutes to place a basic order. Once it was complete, I was excited to pick it up for the party on Saturday. I was assured that the order would arrive by eleven o’clock
On Saturday, I got to the store at 11:00 and asked for the arrangement. The clerk told me there were no flowers for me. I just blurted out, “Oh my gosh! I’ve got one hour to get across town and my order isn’t here!” The clerk told me that I could choose any arrangement out of the case, PLUS pick up my order when it arrived.
I walked over to the case and nothing in there was as perfect for the occasion as the ones I so carefully selected. Another associate came up and changed the offer made by the first clerk. I felt pressured and chose this big colorful arrangement. Then she said, “If you take this, you would be fine not taking the arrangement you ordered, right?” I weakly replied yes. My heart sunk. She left and I thought how I didn’t want to take advantage with that expensive arrangement, so I told the clerk I’d take the smaller arrangement and the flowers I had ordered. The clerk boxed my flowers and I took them to the party. They are pretty flowers, but they didn’t match the theme at all.
After the party, I returned to Bachmans and the clerk told me that the deal I made with the associate was fixed. I told her that I chose the smaller arrangement because I didn’t need the great big expensive one and it had been offered to me before I chose the large arrangement that I didn’t take. The clerk told me that my original order never came in. I felt like a was being treated like I was a liar or something. I went to my car and had a cry. I’m going to have to shop elsewhere now, because I feel Bachmans doesn’t trust me.

I haven't been to bachmans in years, but I went on a good day Christmas was 50% off.

My husband sent an arrangement that was not to my liking. He was told that the arrangement they were sending was “ stunning”. It was far from my liking and not what I considered stunning. Then when I called the store to ask about an exchange I was treated rudely. The arrangement WAS NOT WORTH $70 + $25 delivery! Customer service agreed to send a replacement- we’ll see what comes!

Love going to Bachmans! Their plants are healthy and fairly prices, their sales are amazing and I have gotten quite a few quality plants and products at a hard to beat price. If you're looking for natural and appealing plants/decor then this is the place to go.

Update: Again, wow! Bachman's was able to find that the planter needed to be delivered to the church (I hadn't even known there was a service involved) and not the funeral home. Lisa called to let me know of the change. Thank you so much. I wanted and living plant for granddaughter to take home, so ordered Amazing Grace. The granddaughter stopped at my home after the service, had the planter, and I could see it was just beautiful and, right down to the sweet Angel, looked exactly as pictured.

Lisa took my phone order today. What an absolutely fantastic customer service experience! She was pleasant, patient, clear and had a wonderful sense of humor! We had some belly laughs today as we had convo while waiting for information to load. When she answered the phone with a smile in her voice, I knew I would have the exceptional service that was given. Thank you, Lisa, for putting a smile on my face today. I will post a photo of my basket when it arrives.

Bachmans will always be my choice from now on.

I happened to go on a cold gloomy Winter day. It's a very cheerful place. The flowers and plants were beautiful. I purchased a house plant, seed packets, and a few other small things. helpful staff.

In addition to custom flower arrangements that you can order, there is a large variety of grab and go bouquets.

One of the best company’s in town! Hardworking and professional!
