We had our roof replaced under our insurance due to hail damage. I was hesitant at first because the process started with someone coming door to door but I was impressed with the professionalism and attentiveness of Callan the sales representative. He was present for the inspection when our insurance adjuster came to our home. The insurance adjuster also commented on how easy they were to work with and how detailed the initial invoices were that they provided to them. The workers seem to have done a good job on the roof. I wish they had been more careful with our landscaping though. Some of our bushes were flattened by the debris they threw down from the roof. Fortunately the landscaping recovered although we did have one smaller, newer bush that was almost destroyed in the process. They became slightly pushy at the end when it came to claiming the remainder of the payment from insurance but considering the project was completed they were entitled to their money. I just would have preferred to have not been in the middle of it and would have preferred that they had continued to work with our insurance directly. They also claimed to have not received one of our payments but this seemed to have been an oversight and they apologized for the error. Overall we were happy with the experience.

Shout out to Chuck who was very professional, courteous & informative throughout my full home window project. Had some delay issues with manufacturer, but overall Chuck kept the ball rolling & was able to keep me up to date. Windows look great! Again, Chuck and his crew were awesome.

I initially received a mailing from Elysian following a hail storm, and decided to call them up. I feel like I could honestly do two separate reviews of this company, one for the people who actually do the work and another for the staff at the office arranging it all.

The work crews were quick and left great results. We had three properties completed by Elysian over the last year to have roofs, gutters, and siding replaced. The roofing teams generally did not speak English but they were incredibly kind, hard working, and were always happy to try to answer my questions. Some of the work happened in the winter, and they left quite a bit of garbage around the house.

The office staff was VERY challenging to work with. The staff who came out to do the initial bid was incredibly disorganized. I ended up signing identical paperwork 3 times, and it was always cleared what had happened to the last set. The staff seem unclear about the logistics of the process and as such could never answer additional questions when on-site. I was always unsure who the staff were that would call or email, and what their role was. Therefore, when I needed them to do something (pick up extra materials or clean up nails left in the yard) I often emailed everyone who had contacted me to get someone to respond.

The one exception to this was Dan Magnuson. He worked with our insurance companies to secure payment. He provided timely and frequent updates, and I had no question where the process was at.

If I were to start over I wouldn’t choose Elysian again. But now that I am done with them I feel good about the end product.

I signed a master agreement with Elysian July 2022 for hail damage on my house and garage roof. I was told they had to deal with insurance to get the whole roof approved because they wouldn’t do partial roof. Communication was bad from the start. I didn’t get any updates until May 2023. Almost a whole year later. They were going to do the house roof but wait on the garage roof because it had to be built. I didn’t hear from them for 2 months. They called randomly and said they’d be starting that weekend in July 2023. The building crew was quick and cleaned up my yard nice. That was probably the only positive thing about this experience. I assumed the garage roof would be done before winter that year but I never heard anything from them. I finally got a call May 2024 that they’d be starting the garage roof. They put what I think is a building permit on my door and a project manager said he’d be getting the material list ready. Again I didn’t hear from them for months. August I get the same phone call saying they need to hang a permit and get a material list ready. The employee had no clue or paper trail that someone else in the company had apparently started this process months prior. Now again a month later I haven’t gotten any updates. I called customer service to get out of the agreement because obviously there’s a huge lack of communication and I honestly doubt that this work will get done. They said it will cost me 1500 to back out of the agreement. I can’t find any fine print on the master agreement with the timeframes they have to finish the work by. But at this point I have been waiting 2 years to get this work completed. I’m at a loss. Please save yourself the trouble and choose a different company.

Jacklyn texted me about the damage to my roof. Fun fact, I have a townhouse. My association takes care of the roof. Not sure how how much this company paid for my number but hopefully not too much!

I strongly recommend to stay away from this company. They come out as very friendly supplier to get your contract. Once they have it then they become very illusive. Very hard to reach out and service is horrible. I had my roof done. Still waiting for someone to come out and reinstall my roof heating element. There was no final inspection done after the job was complete. I have cracked shingle and cut shingle on my roof. I still have siding to be done in my house with definite time line. I wish I done my research and went with someone more reliable. Lack of communication is very frustrating.

I've been waiting to get my roof replaced by Elysian and the project manager hasn't reached out to me. It's been over 4 months despite our initial agreement stating work would start within 30 days and then being told 4-6 weeks. I totally understand there are weather constraints and other challenges, but I've called upwards of 10 times and left messages and Brad has never once called me back. If the manager would just call to give me an update I'd be infinitely less frustrated. We have paid in full and are really just worried about what happens if we sustain damage as a result of our roof not being repaired. I'll update if and when I finally get my project completed, but for now, steer clear!
