I hired Nordeast Electric to install a new power outlet and finish some wiring work in my attic, and I was very pleased with the result! Scheduling the appointment went smoothly, the technician arrived on schedule, and the quality of the work was excellent. I particularly appreciated that the technician was knowledgeable about code/permit requirements, and thoroughly cleaned both job sites after he finished up. I also felt that the quote was very competitive, which is a nice plus. I'd definitely hire this crew again if I had electrical needs for my property.

I contacted Nordeast Electric to get a new panel installed in my garage and could not be happier with the service. They scheduled time to explain the options (a new run from my house or new service from the pole) and clearly listed the costs and effort of each. They went above and beyond in helping navigate the process with Xcel for the new service from the pole and were quick in responding to questions and updates. I will definitely use Nordeast Electric again if I have another project come up. The electricians on-site and the office staff by phone and email are all excellent.

I have been a customer of Nordeast more many years. All of the staff are very friendly. They are efficient at what they do.
They wired my entire garage so that it would be usable as a woodworking shop. My latest encounter with them was to replace a circuit breaker that had gone bad.
If you need electrical work done, you can always count on these guys!

Brent and the crew did amazing work on my garage, and misc fixes around the house. They were upfront and honest about the state the wiring was in, and what would need to be done. I’ll definitely be having them out again for any future work. Highly recommend.

Nordeast Electric was responsive to our service request, and we were able to get an appointment within a week for a non-urgent request. The electrician completed the work in good time, and kept me informed about any issues he encountered.

Outstandingly rude customer service. The receptionist went out of her way to be abbrasive and rude. I went with another electrician company that actually had customer service skills. When you are a paying customer you expect to be treated well.

I had some relatively minor work to be done with some switches and receptacles. Nordeast electric came out promptly and did a fantastic job, and the prices they charged were very reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Great expirence with Nordeast. Strongly recommend as they are honest, competitive prices and complete the work as agreed and follows the current codes. Nordeast has completed smaller jobs for me and are always on time and got the job done. They also updated my bathroom electrical. Communication was awesome during this project as they had to make multiple trips to complete the rough in and final work. They also coordinated the inspections with the state.

Nordeast Electric did a great job installing a new electric circuit in my home, two security cameras, soffit outlets, and hanging a bedroom ceiling fan.

They were great at communicating, easy and nice to work with. I would recommend the work they do to anyone.

EDIT: My response to the owner's response:

1. Yes, how I asked the question could be interpreted as confrontational, but it came from a place of bafflement. $300 just to show up. Seems you are the one who thinks highly of yourself.

2. I didn't contact you from my personal phone number, but if you had listened to the voicemail I left, I did provide my personal number for you to reach back out. (Which never happened)

3. For someone who "doesn't want to pick fights", your tone in your response is pretty inviting of one. Seriously a bad look, especially from the owner.

4. I did shop around and not only paid 1/5 of your dispatch fee, but was given advice and guidance on how to repair the issue myself, which I did.

5. Its clear you're not confident in your pricing structure if your ego is so badly rattled by questioning it. Really glad I dodged your bullet of a company.

This is not a review about the quality of their work as I cannot speak to that. So skip the read if that's what you're looking for.

Wanted to give these guys a shot after all of the glowing reviews they have, but unfortunately their dispatch rate is far too high, ~$280. $85 to send someone out (which is pretty standard) but also an additional and required $195 for 1 hour of labor. Labor for what? Nothing in the email I received detailed or described what they would be doing in this mandatory hour. I replied to the email they sent to me explaining thier rates and asked if I was reading that correctly, "So you guys charge $280 just to show up?", which I never received a response for, nor did I get a call back from a voicemail I left with them describing the problem I was having.

Maybe my job was too small fry for them (our doorbell chime is buzzing and going off on its own), which I can understand, but man... a little communication goes a long way.

Awesome experience from start to finish. Scheduling was quick and painless. Jake was the electrician and he walked me through everything clearly and quickly. Did a great job and cleaned up everything as well. Will definitely use Nordeast again 🤘

I needed to upgrade the wiring and breakers from the panel in my garage to the cooktop in my kitchen. Modern cooktops require more amperage than older models. Nordeast Electric team won my business on price and reputation. Jake and his apprentice methodically and diligently completed the work with minimal cuts to the interior house. They cleaned up and ensured everything worked as expected.
One bonus of working with Nordeast is the trip charge for the initial estimate gets rolled into the final bill. I found this to be a differentiator among the several electricians who responded to my RFP and charged a fee for an estimate.

My wife and I hired Nordeast Electric for a 200-amp panel upgrade and to replace the knob and tube. Several other contractors came to the house, and many did not want to remove the panel door on our Federal Pacific panel without a commitment for a panel upgrade. Sean came over to our home, did a complete safety inspection of the old panel, and educated us on how much knob and tube was in the house. When we hired Sean, he kept to his schedule, was diligent in keeping us informed, and adhered to the estimated cost. Sean even helped reattach our downspout to our gutter.

In all, we are pleased with the work from Nordeast Electric and would not hesitate to anyone who is addressing knob and tube to call Nordeast Electric.

The Nordeast crew is so professional and considerate of homeowners. The cleanup was impeccable! It was a joy to see how well the crew worked together. It was a seamless operation! And they finished exactly when they said they would. Now that's experience, and planning!

The communication was excellent, too! Brent was really skillful in helping me navigate questions about the project. He was very patient and kind. Meghan in the office provided great communication about the project too.

I really appreciate how the electrician that does the estimate is also one of the electricians that is on site during the work.

Call them. Steven came out on a Saturday, fixed my issue in 10 minutes, and offered to charge me less than their after hours rate. Will use them for all subsequent electrician needs.

Called and they came out to my house the same day within about 2 hours. Completed the job professionally and quickly. Will absolutely hire them again next time!

Well this guy Steve was awesome, what ever I asked he would always accommodate and when asked his honest opinion about something he was very helpful in designing my new construction with lights ,spa tub , set up with in wall TVs and lots of fixtures, and most of all he listens when you as the client talks...DOWN TO EARTH RESPECTFUL GUY
