Tree Top Climbers did a highly professional job of removing two large trees and avoiding the nearby power lines. The whole crew was very polite and respectful of our and both neighbor’s properties. Their cleanup was excellent. The owner, Pat, was very nice and easy to work with!

Called a few tree removal companies to get some quotes and decided on Tree Top Climbers, as they had a fantastic price and seemed to be the best fit for what we needed. The work was just completed and did we ever make the right decision to go with Tree Top Climbers!! They took down a massive tree in my backyard, and what a fantastic job they did. Showed up right on time, were super professional, and incredibly hard working. Also gave us a 10% senior discount on top of the already excellent price. They removed all the tree wood and cleaned up every scrap of debris, so our yard looked fantastic when they left. Highly recommend Tree Top Climbers!

I can’t say enough good things about Tree Top Climbers! I recently had a massive hackberry tree removed from my property in south Minneapolis — a high-risk job that required true skill and precision. From start to finish, John, Pat, and the entire crew were nothing short of incredible.

They showed up exactly when they said they would, brought top-notch equipment, and worked seamlessly as a team. Their professionalism, attention to safety, and care for my property were truly impressive. You could tell they take real pride in their craft and put safety first without cutting any corners.

What really stood out was how calm, confident, and coordinated they were in tackling such a challenging job — it made me feel 100% at ease. When they were done, they cleaned everything up so thoroughly you wouldn’t even know there had been a giant tree there!

If you’re looking for the best in the business for tree removal, look no further than Tree Top Climbers. I’d give them 10 stars if I could. Without hesitation — a perfect 5.0 stars!

Patrick and the crew from Tree Top Climbers MN did a fantastic job. They took out several large trees from our property in about half a day and were very thorough in cleaning up after (aside from fewer trees, you wouldn't know they were here). Moreover, they provided the most competitive bid we received. We'll use them on our next job, I can't recommend them highly enough.

We had the folks from Tree Too Climbers MN come out today and remove two large Ash trees that sadly got attacked by the nasty emerald ash borers.
Trees all over this area by the creek have been ruined this last year.
The trees were also near power lines.

The team was FAST and very professional / efficient / pleasant!!! Very fair pricing also.

The skill looping, cutting, and lowering the large branches and huge chunks of trunks was quite impressive :)
It only took them 1/2 a day to get two large trees down, ground up, and taken away.
All that is left is the stump grinding once we move the landscaping rock/fabric so they can access them!

I had an excellent experience with Tree Top Climbers. From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and respectful of my property. The crew arrived on time and worked safely to remove several trees that was close to the power lines. They handled everything with great care and precision.

What impressed me most was how quickly and cleanly they completed the job. The price was very reasonable and the customer service was outstanding.

I highly recommend Tree Top Climbers to anyone needing tree removal or trimming services. They truly went above and beyond, and I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.

John was very knowledgeable and gave a fair price. He and his crew did an amazing job of removing two GIGANTIC trees in my quiet backyard. I really appreciated that the person giving me the estimate was the same person doing the work. While it was traumatic to say goodbye to these well-loved trees, it was done safely, efficiently and I felt I got excellent, responsive, human, customer service. Now,… to replant some new trees!

Andrew and his team came to trim trees in our front yard. The team cleaned up all of the debris. Andrew was courteous and thorough. When they arrived and before they left Andrew walked us through the work the team planned to do and reviewed what they had done. I would ask for his team again!

I hired Bratt Tree Company last summer after noticing die off in the crown of my maple tree. The employee who first spoke to me was extremely friendly and a very nice and knowledgeable guy. He showed us where there was a girdling root at the base of the tree and we agreed on a plan to excavate around the base of the tree, remove the girdling roots, and then fertilize the tree this spring.

The main girdling root that I was shown was not removed after the first service call and I had to call the company back twice to get someone to return and remove the root. It was eventually removed but I noticed none of the dirt around the rest of the tree was disturbed except for the removal of some small surface roots, all less than a dime in circumference judging by the debris left behind. I do not know if the tree was fertilized this spring. No one called me or knocked on the door, and I saw no signs of anything done when I got an e-mail asking me to rate how the technician did. Of course, I don't know what fertilizing entails so I may have just not noticed.

However, I noticed this past week the tree was still dying off in a different section and, after doing more excavating by hand and hose, found another girdling root that would have been very easy to find had they actually excavated all the way around the trunk. I really hoped for better service from this company given all of the high reviews I read before calling them.

Editing this review to reflect the extra steps this company took. They came out to review the work done at no extra cost and thoroughly explained the process and what to expect with the tree's future health. They also offered to either refund for the fertilization, or repeat the process at no cost. I appreciate the effort put into making this a better experience.

We had a tree removed and another tree trimmed. The work was excellent and we're so happy to have our scrawny pine tree gone plus our other tree looks so much better after being trimmed. The work was done quickly and there was no mess. The crew were very personable and answered the questions we had.

Sean Brosnan and his team did an outstanding job taking down our birch tree. They were friendly, professional, and accommodating to our special requests. Based on Sean’s great work, I would definitely recommend Bratt Tree to my family and friends.

They did a fantastic job removing two trees. Problem was, one of them was the wrong tree, and was on our Northern neighbors property.

Now I'm left paying the $4,500 bill to remove a tree that's not even on my property.

Edit: 6/16/2021 (work was completed 6/15/2021) - Bratt spent 15 minutes on the phone with us this morning taking issue with our review and asking us to take responsibility for the mistake - so here's the full story.

We requested quotes for 2 trees that are on our property line with our Southern neighbor. We mentioned that we do not know trees - we are not arborists. So, Bratt came out to do a "no contact" Covid quote, and sent us the estimate for a pine and an ash tree removal. Not knowing types of trees, we assumed we were on the same page.

It turns out, we were on different pages. We wanted the large maple removed, which borders our Southern neighbor, but Bratt thought we were talking about an Ash tree that was on our Northern neighbor's property.

So, points against us for not knowing different species of trees (we were really relying on their expertise to guide us through this process!). However, no one (outside the incredibly helpful office staff) spoke with us in-person or over the phone about which trees we wanted cut down. One of the people on-site asked us about moving comcast cables around, but that's about it.

So, the good news was that the Ash would have needed to come down eventually, and now it did. The bad news is that our Southern neighbor was going to split the bill for the Maple, but the Ash is on the other side of the property (actually, it's on the Northern neighbor's property).
And so we're left with double the bill than we expected.

The office staff, and the work itself was really good - but we are a little shocked that the experts didn't speak (on the phone or in-person) with us about what exactly we needed. And that they would not consult with us to be extra diligent and clear about cutting down a tree on a property not belonging to their client. They did speak to our Northern neighbor about it, who was thrilled that the dying Ash was coming down (I would be too if my neighbor footed the bill!!).

We'd also sent them one of the pictures attached (with the red arrows) showing the Maple, but unfortunately no one caught it (I wouldn't expect the office staff who responded to the email to necessarily catch that the tree we were talking about was a different one, but it's still unfortunate).

Lesson learned for us, speak to someone in-person about the work first. If you are going to go with Bratt, they do good, quality work, but make sure you spell out your exact needs for them. If you ever leave them a critical review online, expect a pretty combative and uncomfortable phone call.

My elm looks good - excellent grooming!

And the bracing that was installed will help this beautiful elm to remain a strong piece of my back yard.
