Ian renovated our courtyard last fall. He did a spectacular job. It was a small project for him but he gave it time and attention, ensuring that the final product was jaw-dropping. Ian's mastery of his craft, creative problem-solving, and attention to detail helped us create the outdoor living room we always wanted. (We can't wait to see it in bloom!)

Ian and his wonderful crew put in a water management system and backyard rain garden for me. I have a small city lot that is mostly impermeable surfaces but Ian designed a system for me that captures over 70% of my property's rain run off. This means that annually over 36,000 gallons of rain now soak into the ground for reuse from my small property alone! Ian designed a great system for my home that includes attractive rain chains and barrels with overflow hoses that run into my rain garden. My gutters direct rain to an underground hose that "pops up" in my rain garden. Best of all, Ian used large plastic cubes under my rain garden that greatly increase my small gardens capacity to handle a huge amount of water. My garden has never overflowed, even in the heaviest rain storms, thanks to this technology! Ian worked with me to choose mostly native pollinator friendly and neonicotinoid-free plants in a great variety of heights, colors and textures. My project was small but Ian and his crew gave me large project attention and did a great job. I really appreciated that when they were finished everything was picked up and clean, even my sidewalk was free of dirt. I love my rain garden and can't recommend Ian and his crew highly enough!

He paid extra attention to water drainage. He was great about communicating throughout the project regarding design, deadlines, and our reactions.
